I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Oh @Pip231018 hopefully they'll speed up a bit and you'll be seen soon.

@codenameduchess @BostonFern thank you, I'll ask when I get there! That would be brilliant 😄

LovesHisMummyReally · 21/04/2019 18:21

Anyone else due Christmas day? After an MC in Jan I will of course be ecstatic to deliver anytime but always felt bad for Christmas kids at school!

Pip231018 · 21/04/2019 19:43

I went for my scan and I have a heartbeat 💗
I am measuring at 6 weeks instead of 7, relieved but gutted I've had to reset the clock and I'm only 50% through the 12 week wait. X

Fuiseog · 21/04/2019 19:58

@BostonFern @dalecooperscoffeecup @Pip231018 So glad to hear that you had good experiences! Sorry if I missed anyone who had also had one. Great to hear it went well and offered reassurance ☺️

Welcome to everyone who arrived recently! Congratulations ❤️ There is also a secret Facebook group for December babies as well set up by @Enwi on here.

Very bad nausea hit for a couple of hours today so I guess morning sickness has arrived! 6 weeks tomorrow 😌

dalecooperscoffeecup · 21/04/2019 20:15

Not me! Scan two weeks tomorrow, but thank you :)

BostonFern · 21/04/2019 20:27

@Pip231018 you must be so pleased you heard the heartbeat!

@Fuiseog, I've found ice lolly's such as calypso to be quite refreshing when my morning sickness is bad (at night 🤦🏼‍♀️ whichever medical professional called it morning sickness clearly didn't stick around long enough in the day to observe how long it lasts!).

OP posts:
BostonFern · 21/04/2019 20:27

And thank you @Fuiseog

codenameduchess · 21/04/2019 20:32

@BostonFern it's the biggest piece of false advertising! 'Morning sickness' gives you such false hope haha mine is unpredictable, I have no idea when it will hit or for how long. Was fine all day yesterday and had a brilliant day out with dd and today I could barely strand without gagging or puking 🤢 but now I want pizza....

BostonFern · 21/04/2019 20:41

@codenameduchess have you found all you really want is beige or bland food? Particularly potatoes? Or is that just me?! My DP cooks some lovely meals, but I really struggle to eat at night- last night I picked at spaghetti and ignored the meatballs and sauce, the night before it was a curry and I just ate the rice, my mum did a lovely lunch and all I wanted was the jacket potatoes....been going on for a couple of weeks now.

OP posts:
BostonFern · 21/04/2019 20:42

Actually, I think fruit juice or fruit ice lollies have been the only exception to the beige/bland trend!

Yes if anyone wants to be added to the Facebook group just give me an email at [email protected] Smile

codenameduchess · 21/04/2019 21:44

@BostonFern all I can keep down some days is bbq crispy coated nuts from Lidl, I'm all about red meat or fruit to. Strawberries, oranges and melon are safe for now with the odd kiwi 😀

Embrace the beige though! Your body must need the carbs 😋

Fuiseog · 21/04/2019 22:42

Oops, @dalecooperscoffeecup ! Sorry! 🙈About the same length of time till our first scans then, which is maybe why I got confused (maybe?! 😂) Getting my first scan at 8+2 in two weeks three days.

So I meant to say I was glad to hear it went well for @smartcarnorsmartdriver ! I hope you're enjoying the reassurance and happy vibes ☺️

@BostonFern That sounds like a very good idea, not least because no food has sounded remotely appealing to me today until I read that! Even when I wasn't queasy, nothing felt appealing and I was just eating because I should. When I did eat, it sounds a lot like you too - I had a bread roll instead of breakfast and then for lunch a toasted sandwich with very little (so mostly toast!).

I haven't had much morning sickness yet, but much more this weekend. Stomach was turning a good bit from twenty minutes after lunch yesterday for maybe half an hour and I retched when I was walking on the street and got a sudden noseful of nicotine 🤢 Then today at about a quarter to ten, on the way to get a nice breakfast in a cafe, I was suddenly heaving and the nausea went on for about an hour and a half (needless to say the cafe never happened!). Then felt great for a few hours but queasy again in the afternoon for a while. So definitely not just a morning thing! Haven't been sick yet, but did move a bucket into the sitting room earlier in case I didn't make it to the bathroom 😂🙈

frillyfarmer · 22/04/2019 08:31

@MinnieLou yes, we were both on September 19 thread together! I keep telling myself, different sperm different egg but it's hard in these early stages not to worry about a second MC! I can't decide whether to have an early scan or not - are you?

dalecooperscoffeecup · 22/04/2019 09:26

BostonFern, I need strong flavours, I'm spooning lime pickle out of the jar most days. I usually like lime pickle, but not that much!

Don't worry Fuiseog just didn't want you to miss your intended tag-ee Grin

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 22/04/2019 21:16

Thanks everyone, I can't believe how much better i feel! I know it's still early days but at least so far it's positive news.

Anyone who's had a baby before when did you start wearing maternity clothes? Me and DH have a wedding to go to in June and I've ordered the most amazing dress to wear but it's a maternity dress and I'll only be around 15 weeks. I blame my mum, she told me to get it, I'll obvs try it on when it's heat and I can return it if it drowns me. I have this feeling that because I'm big I won't look pregnant I'll just look fatter?

JayDot500 · 22/04/2019 21:45

@smartcar It depends on the fit of the dress. Maternity dresses will fit individual women differently as we're not shaped the same. If the dress is amazing, and fits you well at the time, then don't even give a second thought to the fact it's a maternity dress.

With DS, I went to a wedding when under 12 weeks and wore a maternity dress from Debenhams that allowed for a wee bump (an amazing find!). My bump was mostly bloat at that time of course, but it wasn't an obvious maternity dress which helped me keep my secret Wink.

I'm only 7 weeks and I'm already eyeing up maternity clothes. I don't know how much longer my work clothes, especially trousers, will last. I need elasticated trousers, but as I'm holding out for my 12 week scan before purchasing anything. That's the aim anyway.

Pocopearl3 · 22/04/2019 22:47

Hi, just found out with my bfp! Due 30/12! Baby number 4 😳

MinnieLou · 23/04/2019 00:37

@Starrynights86 @BostonFern thanks will dig out my hot water bottle, may search for some heat pads too. Oh and paracetamol is ok during pregnancy 😊

@codenameduchess I've gained half a stone too! 😩 I'm gutted!!

Welcome @jinglybell

@Pip231018 lovely news about your scan! That happened with me too! I was 7wks but they put me at 6!

@BostonFern I see what you mean about the bland foods! Can't seem to stomach anything other.. strange!

@Enwi sent an email yesterday (Sunday) but not received anything please let me know if I need to resend 😊

@frillyfarmer small world! Of course I keep thinking the same! I had a bleed to was referred to epu again by my doctor was seen and all was okay, had to return 2 wks later to make sure and it was the longest 2 wks of my life with another couple bleeds including a big one. Went back last week & all was fine with heartbeat! It feels different to last time too. Just need to have hope 💜

I am super bloated, back to work tomorrow I'm going to have to stick to leggings as I really don't think my trousers will do up! I've put on half a stone already which is really making me feel down! 🥺

I feel so bruised around my belly and on my hips it's horrible.

Welcome @Pocopearl3

X

MinnieLou · 23/04/2019 00:38

I have no idea what happened to the writing in my previous post apologies 🤔

Starrynights86 · 23/04/2019 07:55

Has anyone told anyone yet? My mum is coming to stay tomorrow and I think she will guess quite quickly as I do like a glass of wine with dinner normally!

BostonFern · 23/04/2019 08:51

@Pocopearl3 welcome and congratulations!

@Starrynights86 our parents, siblings and a couple of close friends know. We figured they're the people who we will want support from if things go wrong.

OP posts:
MinnieLou · 23/04/2019 09:36

@Starrynights86 we haven't told anyone yet, very private person & want to wait until it's official for us (12wk scan) although a couple of friends from work guessed the other day as I wasn't drinking (and another one of them is pregnant a few weeks ahead of me) was a bit of a relief so now I can speak to someone when I need to..

Joanna0x · 23/04/2019 09:51

Hiya, can I join in please, I'm currently 7 +1 so roughly due around the 12th, but my first two were 10 and 11 days late! I have a 2 year 1 month old and an 11 month old so it will be 3 under 3 over here! Very nervous/terrified about miscarriage, but I have had horrible nausea every day all day since 5 weeks and got horrible back pain today but I think thats due to rubbish sleep because of 2 children bed invading!
