I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@Lozzlepop @fuiseog I’m much calmer today and haven’t had any more bleeding. Hopefully I just overreacted and there’s nothing to worried about. I’m staying positive x

agteacht · 10/04/2019 18:41

Hi everyone

All good here today, it's now been 48 hours since bleeding so I also feel much calmer! Continue to get really really strong positives but I'm not sure how meaningful that is.
My husband is now worried there's no baby so I think I've confused things!!!

@DieCryHate bye and welcome back 😂
I think digital will turn positive in a couple of days.

BostonFern · 10/04/2019 18:42

Welcome and congratulations @Azure83

@DieCryHate How confusing! Maybe your GP can check to see if hcg is rising?

@Sweetpeace @MinnieLou I'm glad to hear you've not had any more bleeding.

@kizzy8750 I grew up in Tameside! I live in Trafford now

dalecooperscoffeecup · 10/04/2019 19:11

I had a GTT in my last pregnancy (two in fact) due to my weight and then baby's estimated weight (he was 10lb 5oz at birth, a rare accurate prediction!) I imagine I'll be offered one again due to his birthweight and my age, but they can fuck right off if they think I'm getting weighed. I refused to be weighed after my booking during my last pregnancy. I lost something obscene like two stone just by giving birth.

PinkFizz19 · 10/04/2019 19:26

Evening ladies, sorry I've not had chance to read the whole thread..it moves so fast.

Thank you for the welcome @BostonFern @Lozzlepop. Hope you're both doing ok.

Aww wow @PeacockingAbout that's so nice..cycle buddies and baby due date buddies 💛 How are you feeling?

I've had it confirmed by GP that I didn't dream the BFP. Got my first midwife appointment on 26th April. No sickness yet and boobs aren't too sore. Just feel like I have baby brain already, very thirsty which means peeing more and I'm more tired. Got bloating and I get mild cramps occasionally. Officially 6 weeks tomorrow. Think we're going to bookn early scan for around 8 weeks, I can't wait another 6 weeks 😊

MinnieLou · 10/04/2019 20:04

@Kizzy8705 I've got a stomach bug too 😩

@Lozzlepop I have an appointment booked in with them after seeing them the other day. She did say there was something that caused the bleed and I may get a little more and not to worry but obviously that was more than I expected and I was in severe pain but then I've now got a stomach bug so maybe the pains were that!? Just a coincidence maybe?

@Fuiseog & @BostonFern Thank you x

@agteacht & @Sweetpeace Thats such good news! Fingers crossed for us all! 😬 x

@DieCryHate it could just be too early for the digital! You're definitely pregnant if your having positives 😁 the hospital did a wee test on the day I was due on and it came back negative then 3 days later I took my own test and it was positive!

  • I wish you could bookmark where you left off I always struggle finding where I haven't read from 🤦🏻‍♀️
SideEyeing · 10/04/2019 21:00

Glad you're in the game @DieCryHate :) sounds promising!

I, on the other hand, don't know if I still am. Had a small amount of fresh red spotting on Monday evening a few hours after an O Blush went to the EPU as freaked out massively. They did my bloods and my HCG is 7768, then did a cervix exam. The exam absolutely bloody KILLED, the doc was lovely but really brutal with the speculum. I've had exams before and never hae a problem but this was really uncomfortable. Then they did a transvaginal US which was also painful :( according to LMP I was 5w2 on Monday.. they only saw a gestational and yolk sac but no fetal pole so pretty worried about that.
Since then, I have been having a lot of brown when I wipe :( I'm being rescanned on Monday but not feeling positive at all. Praying that they've irritated my cervix (the whole area does feel pretty tender and bruised) but I think I may be on the way out. Doesn't help it was the exact same room we waited in so many times during the last MC!

Feel really sick and sad. All I can do is sleep and be tearful. We were meant to be flying for a small holiday on Tuesday night but doctors were pretty adamant I should stay in the country. Tbh going away is the last thing I feel like anyway.

agteacht · 10/04/2019 21:24

Oh so sorry to hear this @SideEyeing

But the brown will be old blood? So if the red blood wasn't MC and it's too early yet on the scan then all could be just fine (crossing my fingers for you)

SideEyeing · 10/04/2019 21:29

Thanks @agteacht - I'm really hoping so. When she did the cervix exam she said it was completely closed and she couldn't see any blood, but then I've had all this brown since. I know some people can bleed after a cervix exam but I'm almost scared to hope at this stage. I keep fantasising about having the scan on Monday and seeing a heartbeat and then 'grounding myself' by remembering that based on experience, that's probably not how it's going to go. I honestly lay in bed earlier this afternoon mentally rehearsing hearing bad news without having a meltdown. Poor DP is sort of hovering about and I'm being so irritable. Blergh.

MinnieLou · 10/04/2019 21:35

Sorry to hear @SideEyeing all may well be fine but we can't help but think the worst! Hopefully everything will be fine on Monday! I know easier said that done but keep yourself busy to keep your mind off worrying 💜

SideEyeing · 10/04/2019 21:45

Thank you @MinnieLou - I hope all is well for you! The scan on Monday is actually a private one I'd booked anyway, weeks ago. The EPU are meant to be rescanning me on Thursday. I'm half tempted not to go to the one on Monday but I know curiosity will get the better of me. I just need answers!

MinnieLou · 10/04/2019 21:54

@SideEyeing I'm being rescanned Thursday too! Hopefully to see a bit more but saying that I've had a dull ache in my belly, went to the toilet and red blood again. Seems to be the evenings!? I'm trying to keep hope but after my MC in January I don't think I have much hope left xx

SideEyeing · 10/04/2019 21:59

@MinnieLou You poor thing, it's so stressful isn't it? I don't know how I'll last eight days. I'm keeping everything crossed for both of us. I tried to find some standup specials on Netflix to cheer myself up. There was a new Amy Schumer special so started it only to realise it's all about being heavily pregnant. Grrrr.

MinnieLou · 10/04/2019 22:25

@SideEyeing fingers crossed for us!!
Oh no 🤦🏻‍♀️ have you seen Kevin Harts new one? Watched that the other day it's rather funny. Just so happen to be watching the disappearance of Madeline McCann 😩 xx

SideEyeing · 10/04/2019 22:30

@MinnieLou aaah no I haven't, will check it out! I ended up watching 'The Legend of Cocaine Island' which was entertaining.. Though I ended up welling up at the end so at least I know hormones are still circulating. I'm normally a hardass when it comes to films/tv!

Eeesh the Madeleine doc is heartbreaking (though there didn't seem to be much 'new' info?) Mind you, I never actually saw the last two episodes but they're on the 'to watch' list.

agteacht · 11/04/2019 07:51

Fingers crossed for your scans ladies. I have been considering getting an early one but know I should try to wait to 7 - 8 weeks... hard though!

codenameduchess · 11/04/2019 08:13

How far along are you @agteacht ? I have a scan at the epu today and I'm either 5+6 or 7+2, also booked a private one early may as I was nervous anyway but with the bleeds decided to go for it.

Lozzlepop · 11/04/2019 09:36

@DieCryHate that's fantastic news I have everything crossed for a happy and healthy journey for you ☺️

@RoxyBaby12 fantastic news that the car doesn't smell, don't think I could go near it with my current heightened sense of smell. I wouldn't say I have had any cravings yet but have thought about fried chicken, coleslaw and mashed potatoes as soon as I have got up 😂

@Sweetpeace thats good to hear, I know what you mean, I had some blood after DTD at the weekend and it really made me freak out- its such a worrying time and just gave me a fright. I'm sure everything will be fine lovely!

@PinkFizz19 I have an early scan next Saturday when I will be 8+3 theres no way I could hold off until the 12 weeks.

@MinnieLou fingers crossed for no more bleeds hun! I know that a stomach bug can cause really bad pains, I've been there, hope you are back to feeling better soon 🙂

@SideEyeing my thoughts are with you, hopefully everything is ok lovely! I know it must be so hard given your past experiences but try and stay positive until you have a definite answer ❤️

DieCryHate · 11/04/2019 10:40

Thank you@Lozzlepop, my digital finally says pregnant today, woohoo. Luckily just before I had to remortgage to pay for more piss sticks. Going to call the consultant now and see if she wants to see me or anything.

@SideEyeing and @MinnieLou sorry to hear about the bleeding, that must have been worrying. Fingers crossed it's your bodies settling with all these new hormones whizzing around and you'll have some reassuring explanations soon. I recommend Arrested Development on Netflix if you've not seen it before. Very funny and hopefully a good distraction.

Notanotherthomas · 11/04/2019 11:00

Hi ladies, I’ve not checked this thread in a while, trying to catch up!

How is everyone feeling? I’ve only really had sore boobs so far but last couple of days I’ve been feeling really exhausted, just generally weak and achey.

I’m 7weeks now, been panicking this last week as as I took 2 clear blue digitals a week apart (the last at 6weeks) and it was staying on 2-3 weeks, which meant I would have only been 4-5 weeks pregnant. I have another which I’m going to do this weekend, hopefully I’ve just ovulated late and it’s not a MMC like my first pregnancy.

@SideEyeing when I was pregnant with ds I had a bleed at what I thought was 6 weeks, went to the Epu for a scan and they could only see a sac and yolk and told me I was about 5+4 pregnant, of course I panicked as I was sure of my dates! Went back 10 days later for another scan and there was baby at 7+1 heart beating away :) that baby is now nearly 3 and perfectly healthy :) so try not to worry too much yet (I know it’s hard not too!) it’s perfectly normal just to see the yolk at 5 weeks x

codenameduchess · 11/04/2019 12:31

So, had a scan at epu and measuring about 1.6mm estimate under 6 weeks. But my latest dates would be 5+6 so only a day off 6 weeks so 1.6mm seems v small.... back in a week to check anyway as heartbeat was slow but she said that's probably due to how early it is.

She also saw the bleed and said its generally harmless and caused by implanting. So not totally relaxed yet but I feel better having seen a little heartbeat.

MinnieLou · 11/04/2019 12:55

@codenameduchess such good news!
They said that to me too about the bleed but I didn't quite understand, she said it must have been irritated & I would get more but I didn't think it would be as much as I did but will find out in a week! X

SideEyeing · 11/04/2019 13:11

Thank you all for your kind words. @codenameduchess I am really glad to hear you saw a heartbeat - I'm sure it's just v. early for you and it'll start chugging along at a good speed soon :) @Diecryhate it's a great feeling seeing a digital turn positive! Really pleased for you!

@Notanotherthomas thank you :) I'm really hoping that's the case too but equally trying not to get my hopes up as my gut feeling isn't great.

DP is off to London to see a friend for a couple of nights. He's in a tizz because he feels guilty leaving me in a state of limbo but frankly I'm happy for him to go. I'm such a grumpy tosser at the moment that I'd rather be left to Google away to my heart's content Blush Grin I feel guilty that we haven't gone away so at least this way he still gets a nice break. The whole reason for staying was so I'd be within reach of my own bathroom, bed and the EPU if necessary.

@MinnieLou - interesting they could see where your bleed was coming from. The doc who did my cervical exam had no idea where mine was coming from. Mind you, she also seemed very keen to do my TV scan despite the chief sonographer (title made up by me) being there. If I hadn't been so upset and lying there like a crying lollypop on the end of their wand/stick device, I'd have enjoyed the following interaction:

Doc: OK. I'm moving it around. I'm seeing nothing. There is nothing here.
ChS: There's nothing intrauterine? Are you sure?
Doc: No. Her womb is empty

[I freak out and start shaking]

ChS: Let me look.
Doc: I am sure-
ChS: That's her bladder. You're looking in her bladder.
