I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

Hi ladies

I had some sudden bleeding last night :( like a period. Didn't last long but this morning I did a FRER and the line isn't as dark as it has been. So I fear the worst now as surely a lighter line is less HCG and suggests the pregnancy is failing :(

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 09/04/2019 08:04

@agteacht I'm so sorry to hear that, I don't think the lines are a guarantee, if they do a blood test they can monitor the levels dropping but I don't think it's as black and white with a test.
Could you contact an EPU for some reassurance one way or another, for me it was the not knowing that killed me.

Sweetpeace · 09/04/2019 08:28

@agteacht I also had a bleed last night and fearing the worst. I’m going to call the midwife this morning for some advice.

Lozzlepop · 09/04/2019 09:23

Morning ladies,

How are we all doing? Welcome to all of the lovely newcomers and congrats on your bfps. Anyone finding that you panic when you feel "normal" and not like you are about to puke up at every minute? Walked into the work kitchen this morning and someone was munching on boiled eggs like apples, walked in and straight back in again 🤢I had such a good sleep last night, I felt amazing when I got up but shock I am super tired again now. Has anyone had their booking in appointment? Mine is on Friday 😁

dalecooperscoffeecup · 09/04/2019 10:35

I'll organise my booking after 8 weeks.

So nauseated. Which is fine but a bit of a challenge at work.

Lozzlepop · 09/04/2019 10:45

@dalecooperscoffeecup I have taken to having 2 breakfasts to keep the nausea at bay 😂I am just about to walk the 1.5 miles to our other building so looking forward to being out in the fresh air!

agteacht · 09/04/2019 11:32

Thank you @smartcarnotsosmartdriver
So sorry to hear this @Sweetpeace

I haven't contacted EPU as from experience of MC there's not much they do. I'll wait and see what happens next but bleed was quite bad, though very short.

Let me know how you get on @Sweetpeace

MinnieLou · 09/04/2019 11:38

@SunStruck yep saw sac & yolk, didn't have the heartbeat yet! I go back on the 18th so hopefully will then!

@agteacht @Sweetpeace try not too worry but get yourself seen if you can! Do you have an EPU nearby? If you have to be referred ring your GP - I asked for a callback as I couldn't get an appointment and she emailed it over to the EPU otherwise you can go to urgent care & ask for a referral. Fingers crossed everything will be ok. I know they can't do anything but as said it's the not knowing that's going to worry you 💜

codenameduchess · 09/04/2019 12:29

I've had some bleeding today too... not loads and brown but enough to panic me and I've got cramps/stabbing pains in my right pelvic area. Epu needs a referral so I have an appointment with gp later this afternoon.

lordofthefries · 09/04/2019 12:34

Hi everyone, I’m so tired and nauseous. I’m also really emotional, poor DH can’t catch a break, he’s always in trouble. I have my booking appointment on the 22nd

cadihaf · 09/04/2019 13:09

Phoned the midwives this morning and she'd like to see me next week, and then arrange booking appointment when I'm further on.

Feels a bit real now!
Was nauseous from 7 weeks last time, not looking forward to the return of that!!
I'm sorry if I've missed the post, but do we have a Facebook group for December 2019 babies?

dalecooperscoffeecup · 09/04/2019 16:48

Lozzlepop I'm not much fun if I don't get my 10:30 banana (I like my Monday base as I can wonder in and out of the kitchen... Not so everywhere else 😭)

Everything crossed for anyone waiting on GP/EPU.

BostonFern · 09/04/2019 18:32

@Roxybaby12 thanks for asking, still finding the fatigue to be the worst symptom- got a cold again too, which isn't helping! How are things for you today? I can imagine that is hard with DH.

@MinnieLou great to hear a positive update, you must be so relieved.

Oh no @agteacht I'm so sorry to hear that. @Sweetpeace and @codenameduchess sorry to hear you've had bleeding too. I hope your EPU can offer reassurance.

@Lozzlepop yes, I've felt less nauseous today, so have been worrying! My booking in appointment is three weeks away yet! 😬

GP did an exam and couldn't see any immediate signs of ectopic, everything looks how it should be so she suspects it's a haematoma(sp?) or 'old blood' but has referred to epu for a scan in a couple of days to be sure.

A shockingly high number of my friends have had tragic pregnancy complications in the last 2 years so I think I'm spiralling more than normal over it.

Sweetpeace · 09/04/2019 19:28

@agteacht @codenameduchess @minnielou @BostonFern
I spoke to the midwife today who was very reassuring and told me only to worry if it’s a heavy bleed and a lot of pain. She said light bleeds and cramps were normal. It’s so easy to worry though while there’s nothing tangible to reassure yourself that things are ok. I have my booking appointment on a Friday and I’m already making a list of questions I want to ask!

codenameduchess · 09/04/2019 19:49

@Sweetpeace that's pretty much what my gp said. It's too easy to go to worst case when you have no way of knowing and I had none of it with dd... this is already a very different pregnancy!

Roxybaby12 · 09/04/2019 20:16

@sweetpeace
What a relief-I was hoping you’d update with good news! Phew..

@agteacht
How are you Hun? Have you spoken or seen gp or midwife yet?

@BostonFern
Ahh bless, at least the second trimester you’ll feel less tired and more like yourself.. just make sure DH is making you tea! 😉
I’m ok, cramping a little today again, only very slight and boobs starting to grow! I actually like that part-DH always notices that! 😂. My kids are at each other like wild dogs at the mo! I’m finding everyday so stressful and to top it off DD1s friends threw up in my new car today!! 🤬 not happy.. a little warning would have been nice. Stressed.com xx

BostonFern · 09/04/2019 20:28

@codenameduchess @Sweetpeace glad to hear you've had some reassurance.

@Roxybaby12 luckily my DP is amazing, we get home from work and I don't have to lift a finger!
Sick in your new car isn't good! Hope the smell doesn't linger, I always think it's the smell that's the worst part of dealing with sick 🤢

@cadihaf there is a secret Facebook group. You will need to email Enwi on [email protected] and she will add you :)
@Enwi hope you don’t mind me sharing your email from earlier in the thread so others can find it

agteacht · 09/04/2019 20:59

@codenameduchess @Sweetpeace that's a relief. I haven't seen anyone yet but I'm going to wait. This is my second bleed since BFP but first I think was implantation. I'm going to try to see the doctor and get EPU referral on Friday unless anything happens between now and then.

It's really scary isn't it? If this bean sticks I'm not sure how I'll cope with the next 34 weeks!!!

Can I ask how much bleeding you both had? And was it red?

Thank you all so much for your support too lovely group we have here xx

MinnieLou · 09/04/2019 21:08

I'm sure I speak too soon.
So have had horrible cramps this evening, went to the toilet and red blood in the toilet and as I wiped then tried to soothe my belly (breathing) and got a whole lot worse went to the toilet again and blood. The only way to soothe my belly was to sit on the toilet rocking back and forth! I'm in absolute agony - the worst pain I've ever had. One minute I feel like I'm going to throw up the next I feel it's gonna come out the other end 😩

Sweetpeace · 09/04/2019 22:21

@agteacht it was red and enough to go through my knickers onto my tights (TMI?) but it was quite short lived.

@MinnieLou I hope everything is ok for you. This must be horrible x

MinnieLou · 09/04/2019 22:48

@Sweetpeace thank you, I think I've discovered I have a stomach bug. Although it doesn't explain the bleeding.. I know at EPU the nurse said I might have a little more and not to worry but this was quite a lot with a clot so I can't help but think the worst. I have to wait till the 18th now as I'm back at EPU then 😩

MinnieLou · 09/04/2019 22:50

@Sweetpeace I hope yours has calmed down too & that you're feeling ok x

agteacht · 09/04/2019 23:05

@Sweetpeace thank you... mine sounds very similar

@MinnieLou so sorry you're feeling so awful. Why is this happening to all of us eh?? Yesterday when I had my scare I also was sick so maybe it's a common combined issue. I hope it eases overnight and 18th brings you reassurance, only a week or so xx
