I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@Lazysundays18 welcome :) I know how stressful it is `getting a BFP after MCs. You're not alone. Also secondary English here - are you on Easter break yet?

Lazysundays18 · 08/04/2019 09:30

@SideEyeing That's good to know I'm not alone but also sorry we've all had losses. Yes our Easter holidays started today thank goodness!! What about you?

Hi all.

Baby #4. Unexpected Blush Which is rather embarrassing at 32... I’m feeling cautious as I miscarried between 2 and 3, but trying to be optimistic.

I’m currently a Microbiology student finishing Year 1 Shock I have no idea how I’m going to fit my studies around a baby. DH is a SAHD/works from home whilst 1/2/3 are at school and we’re in a bit of a happy/terrified daze at the moment Grin

Think EDD will be around mid December. As I have no idea when I Ovulated as I was taking a mini pill.

Roxybaby12 · 08/04/2019 14:21

Hi ladies,
How’s everyone today? I woke up feeling very not pregnant!! It’s really weird! Feel completely ‘normal’ and to top it all off DH has now decided now isn’t the best time to be having another baby!! 😤 I’m so disappointed with him! I think he’ll feel better the further along in the pregnant... but seriously feeling like crap right now! 😢

@YAmILikeDis
Welcome and many congrats.. keep positive, I’m sure baby will be just fine but understand the worry. Please don’t be embarrassed either.. 32 is still young! No one else needs to know baby wasn’t planned.. good luck though. Sure the siblings will be excited. Xx

YAmILikeDis · 08/04/2019 14:45

@RoxyBaby12 Now is not a good time for us either, it’s not a nice way to feel. DH is more excited than I am at the moment Sad I think I’m still a bit shocked and as I progress the excitement will kick in, I’m sure your DH will be the same too Flowers

We’re going to have to save like mad so that DH can be a SAHP/work evenings instead of in the day till baby is 6 months old and can go to Nursery. Luckily we have a brilliant one that all our DC have been to but none have ever been that young, they were 12 months ish.

But I’ve waited so long for University and I’m doing so well that I’m scared to put the brakes on it for too long. I’ve had a quick scan of their policy and my department is Athena Swan Gold so I’m not anticipating too many issues.

DieCryHate · 08/04/2019 15:41

Hello everyone! Got the positive result today so here I am. Haven't even told my husband yet but feel like I may burst.

This is our second. I wasn't even sure I was up for a second baby but threw caution to the wind. That was only 3 weeks ago and here I am Blush so really not mentally prepared at all!

EDD of 19th December but likely to be 12/12 as it'll be an elective at 39 weeks, providing all goes well.

DieCryHate · 08/04/2019 16:24

I hope this makes you all laugh as it tickled me. My GP no longer accepts appointments via phone, it's through an automated fake chat facility online. I just logged on to get a booking in appointment with the midwife sorted and it asked me why I was requesting an appointment. It then asked me what I think the cause is GrinI put the usual reason!!!

codenameduchess · 08/04/2019 16:26

Have my booking apt this Friday. I'd called last Monday and was told someone would be in touch and hadn't heard anything so called to check timescales and she booked there and then. I felt silly calling already as only 7 weeks from lmp but I'm on holiday or away from home through most of weeks 12-15 and didn't want to miss the window for tests, the sooner I have the date the easier it is to rearrange things if needed.

Also planning DDs birthday party for the summer- she's got some very specific requirements for turning 4 😂

DieCryHate · 08/04/2019 16:32

@codenameduchess that's exciting, well done for getting organised.

I can imagine the party requests Grin

codenameduchess · 08/04/2019 16:41

@DieCryHate it didn't really occur until I was working out dates for something else and then thought 'oh shit we're on holiday for most of the dating scan window!' Haha I just want to be over the 12 weeks and relax a little bit now

The requests are coming fast now, her birthday is still 3 months away 😂 her latest was a real fairy who can do magic... at the bouncy castle and bumper car party. Princess pirate party bags, dinosaur balloons and a miles from tomorrow cake of course! 🤷🏼‍♀️

DieCryHate · 08/04/2019 16:57

Ha always the way. Not too long to go now for you. Are you going anywhere exciting?

Oh my, they are tall orders. That's very funny. Good luck with your hunt for a magic trick performing real fairy Grin

Sweetpeace · 08/04/2019 18:06

@codenameduchess I think there’s a few of us with a booking appointment for Friday. I have a similar situation to you and have a lots of days away in May.

When I had my implant removed in January the nurse told me not to think too much about getting pregnant and go ahead and book my holidays. I took her advice to heart and now I really hope they manage to fit me in!

codenameduchess · 08/04/2019 18:13

A little caravan break at the seaside then we're off to lanzarote. DD is very exited for all of it, she loves a holiday and has picked a new swim suit already 😂 I'm not convinced I'll get one to fit, I've gained 6lbs in bloat already 🙄 already preparing for eye roll from the midwife when she does the bmi check

I'm afraid of what else she'll come up with! The imagination of a 3 year old is terrifying and wonderful!

How old is your first @DieCryHate ?

BostonFern · 08/04/2019 18:35

Welcome and congratulations @cadihaf, @blondie87 @Lazysundays18 @YAmILikeDis @DieCryHate

Wow. There's quite a lot of us teachers on here now!

Oh no @Roxybaby12 do you think he's panicking a bit?

@DieCryHate that is funny!

elephantmarch · 08/04/2019 18:58

@yamilikedis we have a mini pill baby too, very unexpected certainly not unwanted. I spent the first two days flabbergasted and now that I’ve downloaded the apps about what to expect each week I’m kinda enjoying this stealth baby. Do you have a mix of boys and girls already?

elephantmarch · 08/04/2019 19:07

@diecryhate that’s brilliant. A gp with a chatbot is very advanced.

DieCryHate · 08/04/2019 19:57

That sounds lovely @codenameduchess! My little boy is 2.5, he'll turn 3 3 weeks before this one's due date. Clearly we love to be skint in November and December! Is this your second baby too then?

Hi @BostonFern, and thanks!

@elephantmarch yes it's quite sophisticated. All the local residents are up in arms about it but it was far better than having to sit on hold for 50 minutes. Booked in for 7th May, eeek.

Roxybaby12 · 08/04/2019 20:48

@BostonFern
Hi Hun, how you doing today? I think my DH is more worried about money than anything else. He’ll love bubba as much as the other two. Just hurts listening to him rant about the timing when it was a planned pregnancy!

I hope everyone is doing ok and hi to all the newbies. Gonna be a busy end of the year! 😉 x

codenameduchess · 08/04/2019 20:59

Yes @DieCryHate 2nd, it took a good 3 years to even consider another haha toddlers can be so sweet though, it'll be lovely to see them together 😍

@Roxybaby12 even planned it can be a shock when a baby becomes reality. Hopefully your dh will get over it soon and start enjoying it x

MinnieLou · 08/04/2019 21:38

Just an update:
Went to the EPU today following my spotting of bright red blood on Wednesday/Thursday.
They did an internal scan and they can see the sac and yolk because I'm only 5+5 they've booked me in on the 18th for another when I'll be 7+1.

My booking appointment is the 7th May & received a letter today for my US on 29th May (13wks) I am a teaching assistant so handy it has fallen in the half term! 😂 just working out an excuse for the midwife appointment!

Things are looking good so far! Starting to worry about the future though! Xx

*Sorry it kept telling me it couldn't post now it's done it more than once! 🤦🏻‍♀️

MinnieLou · 08/04/2019 21:46
  • Oh the nurse also said the spotting was ok, they can see what it is and I might get a little bit more from it but not to worry. Can anyone shed some light on what it could be? All is a bit of a blur in my mind!
SunStruck · 09/04/2019 01:44

@MinnieLou oh what a relief!!! So they can see a sac and yolk now at 5+5 already? Can they detect heartbeat this early? I'm asking as I'm also going in next week for a early scan, I think I'll be 5+2 then...

YAmILikeDis · 09/04/2019 06:58

@SunStruck I had a private early scan with DC3, I was 6+3. She was just a round blob, but had a very clear heartbeat - they turned the sound on and we heard it Shock It was magic.
