I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@PeacockingAbout So, I've just found out another girl in my team is preggo today. She was like 'Your turn now' and I wanted to show her the pictures of this mornings test. But I didn't.

It is so hard. Feel like I've got period pains and I've had to stop myself going to the toilet because I'm obsessed with checking that nothing untoward is going on. I've never been so aware of every part of my body. Who have I become?

I'm 5 weeks on Sunday. I didn't know I'd feel this way.

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 13:41

Constantly checking is annoying me to chat help it tho. I hate being out with no toilet and thinking I’m bleeding

Sweetpeace · 02/04/2019 14:22

@codenameduchess good luck with going for the new job. I’m also keeping quiet as I’m in line for a promotion/payrise and don’t want to risk it! Hopefully I’ll know not too long after 12 weeks as there’s only so many work drinking events I can make excuses for before people start getting suspicious!

Lozzlepop · 02/04/2019 14:29

@PeacockingAbout yeah I know- I will do anything if cake is involved lol! You also get some pretty good gifts which can take the pressure off at an expensive time, plus good to have advice and tips from other mummies! I know what you mean, thats one of the reasons we have decided to get an early scan is so we can tell our families and so I can stop lying to people haha! Hoping it will fly in now as I am super excited to check this little bean is ok 🤞🏻

codenameduchess · 02/04/2019 14:29

Haha @Sweetpeace I know, I've got a weekend away with a friend (and our kids) around 12 weeks that I'm having to be vague about planning 😂 she's suggested gin/ciders and a farm trip.... obviously I can't do either but can't tell her.

I'm really hoping this new job is signed off and advertised soon though, it's a brilliant opportunity and if I'm lucky enough to get it there'll be a decent pay rise just in time for mat pay!

I do have a friend who's due her pfb around the time I'll be telling people and I'm expecting her to kick off about me stealing her attention 🤦‍♀️

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 14:50

Say you’re on medication that you can’t drink with. Most people won’t pry after that x

Kayjay2018 · 02/04/2019 14:59

Hi, I’m just joining, congratulation everyone! Christmas will be manic this year!!

Found out last week I’m expecting number 2 (think I’m due 2nd December), last week. My age gap will be over 15 years!! Had DS when I was 22, met my DH 3 years ago and married last August. I will be 38 when this one arrives - I feel like a total newbie as it’s all a long time ago I was doing this Grin

JayDot500 · 02/04/2019 16:03

Another one here with the opportunity to nail a dream job, but yeah pregnancy muddles things. And my current job has just embraced flexible working, so it's now sooo much better since I have a 3 year old who is starting nursery in September. And maternity pay issues, argh. Choices! Since it's only early days, I'm going to act like nothing has changed.

Is anyone still testing? I wasn't TTC, I feel like I'm still in shock Blush

happilyevernever · 02/04/2019 17:00

Hi everyone, I hope I can join in. Got a BFP today, from my calculations I’m due 6th Dec (but I’m also very bad at maths so that could be completely off). This is my second, my DS is 22 months. I’m only 18, so a lot younger than everyone here, but would really like someone to chat to as I’m feeling very alone and scared to tell all my family as I feel like they’ll be disappointed

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 17:01

@happyevernever welcome

Roxybaby12 · 02/04/2019 17:25

Hi @happilyevernever
Welcome.. everyone on here is more than happy to help each other and listen if you need to talk.
Sorry your family will be disappointed. Do you live with them? X

happilyevernever · 02/04/2019 17:36

Thank you both

Roxy No, me and DP live together in a studio flat, it’s big enough for us and our little boy. Its just what there reaction will be because I’m pregnant again.

MinnieLou · 02/04/2019 17:56

Congratulations to all.

@JayDot500 my first one I did Thursday was clear blue said 1-2.. went and bought another today 'just to make sure' and has come up 2-3 😁

@happilyevernever we're all here to support regardless of age, I'm 23 will be my first and although I live with my family I'm not close to them which is hard, only me and my partner know & that's the way it's going to stay until I've had my first scan. X

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 18:08

@happyneverafter we’re all here to support you. Regardless of age.

Welcome @kayjay he’s it will be hectic if i have a smooth pregnancy I plan on being super organised this year (normally last minute shopping kind of girl) having all pressies wrapped etc before baby even arrives

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 18:09

I’m falling behind already with my uni work. I need to manage this tiredness

happilyevernever · 02/04/2019 18:22

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

@Kizzy8705 I’ll tell my mum tonight, but not the rest of the family until a bit later on. I’m so tired too, can barely keep awake on the evenings anymore

BostonFern · 02/04/2019 18:26

Welcome @LoisLittsLover congratulations on your BFP!

I told the two principals yesterday, give them plenty of warning for timetabling next year and because I'm suffering with nausea and struggling to be as active in the classroom at the moment.

Welcome @Kayjay2018 congratulations on your BFP!

@JayDot500 I'm still doing the odd sneaky test!

Hi @happilyevernever great to have you on here! We're really supportive here, don't worry.

@Kizzy8705 I'm not functioning in the evenings, I'm so tired!

Felt very nauseous today, and just checked in with the Dr about my other health conditions. Also the midwife has been texting me, she seems lovely and I have my first appointment with her at the start of May.

@happilyevernever
You have the support from all of us here-and besides sounds like you have a nice little family at home anyway-maybe your parents won’t be disappointed. You can always vent on here-we’ve for your back and as we’re all at a similar place in our pregnancies, it’s a great ‘net’ family-lol

@windysowindy - how are you feeling hun? X

windysowindy · 02/04/2019 18:55

Hi @Roxybaby12 ! Ok, just running around with the toddler, including soft play 😱😱😱😱
I booked my Booking app with the midwife for the end of April. The GP receptionist was a bit crap to be honest, but I saw my GP and she is lovely, she was well chuffed for me.

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 18:56

My dr rang me today and is guiding me through reduction of my meds and helping me withdraw. I then see the midwife on the 6th May when I’m 10 weeks

Roxybaby12 · 02/04/2019 19:06

@windysowindy
Ahh bless you! well don’t over do it!! 😉 enjoy soft play while you can! My two are being little s*s today-had to yell at them more than once today-stressing me out and DH is away til sat so am shattered. Pleased you’re doing ok though. X

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 19:09

Where’s everyone from? I’m in Manchester

JayDot500 · 02/04/2019 19:10

@kizzy8705 @BostonFern I have tried to wait until the end of the week but tested a few times over the past few days Grin. I'm going to say no more, then I'll splurge on a CB digital test on Sunday. I'm finding that my FMU certainly does not produce the darkest results! More afternoon/evening time (probably dehydrated Blush)

I keep retching, this won't be good as I have a presentation tomorrow.

codenameduchess · 02/04/2019 19:23

@JayDot500 I've just bought a pack of digitals 😂 I've spent so long ttc i need to see the 2 lines.

A lot of you are getting your midwife appointments and I can't even get mine to return a phone call. I only want a couple of questions answered from them too.

happilyevernever · 02/04/2019 19:23

Thank you again everyone, it really means a lot.

Roxybaby12 I do have a lovely little family with DP and Ds an now the new little one. I’ve called up my mum and told her and she took it better than I thought, but she’s took to Vinnie really well so I think she’s just excited to be a nan for a second time. DP’s dad won’t take it well at all but oh well, it isn’t his life.

Kizzy8705 I’m from down south
