I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@BostonFern thank you. I just don't want anything to go wrong, really I should book doctors though as the weeks will fly by before I know it!
X

Lorna2019 · 01/04/2019 21:47

@BostonFern Haha! You're right. Plus I am the kind of person that worries about absolutely everything and it never actually happens.

I hope your worries subside.

agteacht · 01/04/2019 21:49

4w today, 7 positive tests since Thursday but some light bleeding arrived today. So depressing 😢

BFP on cheapie this morning (before bleeding) and this evening too - but I don't want to hope any more because I'm sure the hormones will be in my system still.

Read loads of stories where bleeding doesn't end in miscarriage but loads more where it does so I just have to wait and see what happens next. Gutted 😢

Lorna2019 · 01/04/2019 21:51

@agteacht Ah, my sister bled throughout her pregnancy. It's more normal than you think. Try not to worry, much easier said than done. Thanks

Sweetpeace · 01/04/2019 22:16

Hi there! Been scanning the page and picking up the lingo today. Got my BFP yesterday... on Mother’s Day which was quite lovely Smile

My EDD is 28 November and I have an appointment booked with the midwife for next Friday.

It all feels quite surreal. My boobs are mega sore and I keep imagining flutters in my belly... pretty sure that’s down to nerves. I didn’t expect it to happen so quickly!

Lorna2019 · 01/04/2019 22:27

-@Sweetpeace Ah congratulations! That is so exciting.

agteacht · 01/04/2019 22:30

Thanks @Lorna2019 there are stories like that...
It was light and has stopped now so I'm hoping it's okay but I'm just going to take it day by day. I figure I will either be okay or bleeding heavily by the morning. At least I'll know Thanks

Kizzy8705 · 01/04/2019 23:27

Could be an implantation bleed at 4 weeks x

BostonFern · 02/04/2019 07:05

Thanks @Lorna2019

@agteacht hope it stops and it's just from implantation.

Congratulations and welcome @Sweetpeace

Thanks @Kizzy8705 and @BostonFern maybe that's what it is (she says tentatively...)

No further bleeding overnight and another strong line on FRER this morning so for now all is on hold and we will see how the day goes.

I had thought implantation happens before a BFP and got that last Thursday. But what do I know!

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 08:11

Hi everyone. I got a bfp yesterday and due around 4th dec with baby number 2. Dd is 4 and a half - anyone else with a biggish age gap? Only nausea so far, no sickness which is an improvement from last time!!

Lozzlepop · 02/04/2019 08:51

@PeacockingAbout hiiiii 👋🏻I bet you are, its so nice to see others from the TTC thread! The babyshower was full on- there was so many people there, I don't think I know that many people haha! Well I never really thought about having one, they aren't that common here but it seemed good fun and if I picked up one tip its not to have it in my house 😂That sounds like a nice day, it is hard not saying isn't it? We are going to tell family after we have had our early scan in a couple of weeks which will coincide with my dads birthday!

@Plipliop devastated for you lovely, take care of yourself ❤️

@MinnieLou I am super bloated too, the tiredness has kicked in along with the nausea! I have my booking in appointment with the midwife next Friday so i will be 7+2

@BostonFern yup the struggle is real, I am up every night between 2:30 and 4am to pee

@Sweetpeace hello, welcome and congrats on your BFP my EDD is Nov 27th so pretty close, I also have my midwife appointment next Friday!

@agteacht thats good to hear lovely hopefully it was just implantation bleeding 🤞🏻

Sleepinglemon · 02/04/2019 09:34

DH has booked me a Mother's Day facial and massage after work today. I'm going to have to tell the beauty therapist I'm pregnant aren't I? I'd rather not as we have a few friends in common.

@LoisLittsLover My DS is 4.5 too! His birthday's in August.

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 10:29

My son will be 7 in August so quite a large gap. There was 7 years between me and my sister

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 10:29

I can’t work out how to tag people?

Lozzlepop · 02/04/2019 10:31

@Kizzy8705 just use the @ symbol then the username

PeacockingAbout · 02/04/2019 10:47

Lol @Kizzy8705 I'm on my way to potato shaped too.

@Roxybaby12 I like an exclamation mark! I wasn't expecting to go off food, that was not what popular culture told me would happen. Are you finding any more differences between this and the last two?

@BostonFern, you're damn right about the worry!

You just be nervous @MinnieLou. I know what you mean about not rushing it.

@agteacht how worrying, I hope everything is ok. Glad to hear no more bleeding today. I think implantation is a longer process than it's broken down to.

Congratulations and welcome @Sweetpeace! The flutters are quite disconcerting aren't they.

I finally called the Drs yesterday and unless I need to see a Dr (which I don't think I do), I just pick a hospital and refer myself. Not sure what hospital I want to give birth at yes - I'd assumed I'd discuss this with a community midwife, so need to do some more in depth research. I live in London so there are a lot of options.

In fact, if anyone lives in London, St Thomas' has a maternity open evening on Thursday - free and drop in, it's not a tour of the facility or anything but an info thing aimed at newly pregnant or still trying couples Link [[https://www.guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/news-and-events/events/2019-events/april/20190404-maternity-open-evening.aspx]]

Congratulations @LoisLittsLover!

@Lozzlepop glad it was fun! There are always loads of people you don't know at these things! I'd never planned to have one, but actually I quite like parties and cake so might do! But yes, not somewhere I have to really tidy up after. Telling people after scan is a good shout - I'm not sure when we will tell people, I think my mum will be quite hurt if we wait til the scan (not planning on an early one) but tbh I wouldn't want to tell her if we lost one so...

@Sleepinglemon that will be nice! But yes you probably will have to. DM keeps talking about getting me a massage and facial for my birthday and booking it now and I keep tying to put her off.

Roxybaby12 · 02/04/2019 11:16

Many congrats to everyone new in the last couple of days. So great to share the news with everyone without telling anyone at the same time!! 🤪

@PeacockingAbout
I forced myself to have some toast this morning, I’m not being sick though feel it sometimes, just not bothered about food!!
My first I was super emotional, had slight nausea but that was about it. My second nothing at all! If I hadn’t been watching the dates I would never have known! But this one... the list is endless... cramping, sore breast, emotional, headache, backache, leg ache, (or maybe I’m just eating old) 😂 gassey, constipated, more cm (sorry tmi) but other weird things like being super hungry (until I got BFP) and bizarre dreams. And I think I just ‘knew’ this time..
Just done the self referral on the nhs so just gotta wait now til the scan date. Still feels like af is about to show up! 😟
How are you feeling? Do you have other children? Xx

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 12:10

@lozzlepop

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 12:11

Yay if worked 😂

My normal GP rang me today (knows all about my disabilities) after I complained about a locum dr. Who wasn’t supporting me.

My GP has massively lowered my medication and is supporting me through withdrawals, don’t feel so alone now

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 12:17

@roxybaby12 yes, it feels fab to talk about it!! I didn't want to test yet but dh has gone away on business and wanted to know before he went. Going away with my parents in 5 weeks so will probably tell them before we go

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 12:18

When's everyone thinking of telling work?

Kizzy8705 · 02/04/2019 12:21

My mum and some close friends know, I don’t work so don’t have that to think about aha

codenameduchess · 02/04/2019 12:42

@LoisLittsLover I'll be waiting as long as possible... there's a job coming up that I want and I won't have a chance if they know I'm pregnant so it'll probably close to the date you have to tell an employer. Luckily I do a lot of agile working so can avoid seeing people who will notice too often!

PeacockingAbout · 02/04/2019 12:51

@Roxybaby12 I'm the same - utterly unbothered, makes it hard to choose lunch lol. Wow very different then, must be confusing particularly the second time. No, this is DC1 for me so it's all super new!

I also feel like I'm waiting for AF - really, she's only like, 6 days late and I feel like I'm making it up. I'm nervous to self-refer yet, not sure if I can change my hospital so want to do more research first. Probably end of this week, I'll still only be just 5 weeks!

@LoisLittsLover, I'll probably tell my boss at 12 weeks after the scan, the other manager in my team is also pregnant (ahead of me!) and she's panicking about cover so need to give her time to cover me. I'm bricking it about telling her, she will be positive etc, but she won't be happy. And I'll ask her to keep it private for a while.
