I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

My hero Grin @codenameduchess. I looked like a kid in a sweet shop staring at the tests in Tesco yesterday. Sunday, it will happen Wink.

Considering my working week usually passes by so quickly, it's d.r.a.g.g.i.n.g since my bfp.

Dotty143 · 02/04/2019 19:45

Hi everyone! Gosh this thread moves fast! Congratulations to everyone who’s recently got their BFPs!
I rang my GP surgery today and was given the number to refer directly to the midwife. I’m booked in for the 8 week appointment but they only had appointments during the school day (the first day back after the Easter hols) so I ended up telling my headteacher as I need the time off. He was lovely and has said he will keep it to himself. I’ve also told a couple of close friends. It’s lovely sharing it with them but also freaks me out a bit as it’s such early days! X

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 19:51

I'm from Kent.

Having limited symptoms still; cramping, nausea and nose bleeds!! Going to self refer tomidwives now if i can

codenameduchess · 02/04/2019 19:52

@JayDot500 poas is possibly my weirdest obsession 😂 digital days 2-3 weeks, so 4-5 weeks in doctor terms. I feel better seeing it in words.

agteacht · 02/04/2019 20:09

Wow loads of activity since this morning!!

Thank you very much @PeacockingAbout and @Lozzlepop for the good wishes. Thankfully I have had no further bleeding in last 24 hours so maybe you are right about implantation! Though I don't want to be that person who clings to hope and ignores the signs..! but if anyone else has had experience of implantation bleeding let me know...

I definitely didn't bleed enough though so if nothing else happens then all is well. I will breath a big sigh of relief.

Welcome to new-comers, it's very exciting for everyone. I haven't told anyone yet (apart from DH of course!) but given my scare I definitely won't tell anyone until I've had a scan. My sister-in-law is also pregnant with her first, they are 14 weeks now, so I don't want to take from their happiness if anything goes wrong with us. My mother will be very excited though as we are married now 5 years and she is dying for a grandchild. Two within a few months would be her wildest dream 😂 so please all keep your fingers crossed for us x

MinnieLou · 02/04/2019 20:43

@Kizzy8705 I'm from south east London.

How does the midwife thing work?
Do you contact them or do they contact you (if doctor passes on details) etc? They don't send letters do they? Sorry I'm new to it all so a little confused lol. Going to ring my doctors tomorrow, do you think I'll need an appointment or can the receptionist help me over the phone?

LoisLittsLover · 02/04/2019 20:49

@minnielou - here you do an online self referral or contact the children's centre. I googled 'midwives' with the name of my health trust and the info came up about delf referral. First question was ' have you considered a home birth ' - jumping ahead a bit lol

Roxybaby12 · 02/04/2019 20:55

@happilyevernever - good for you Hun! Sounds like your mum is excited. Keep us up to date with how your feeling etc though.

@minnielou I’m down south and called the docs this morning.. no word of a lie I called 54 times (user busy every time! Then got through and was told to register online on the NHS website. Maybe have a serch for your area. It used to be a case of making an appointment with the doc but I think now they’re so under staffed they rely more on these electronic booking systems. Good luck x

Lorna2019 · 02/04/2019 21:09

@Kizzy8705 - I'm from Manchester!

@happilyevernever - Ah!!! Congratulations. I hope you get the right support from your family.

I'm thinking I need an early scan. Mainly to settle my mind! Is anyone else considering/done this before?

And self referrals? I googled extensively. Don't get it.

Sweetpeace · 02/04/2019 21:13

@kizzy8705 I’m Manchester as well!

The tiredness struggle is real. I’ve had a sofa nap and now need to motivate myself to at least do the washing up if nothing else!

When I called my doctors surgery, they gave me the contact details for the local children’s centre where the midwifery team is based and I booked in with them directly.

MinnieLou · 02/04/2019 21:22

@LoisLittsLover @Roxybaby12
Thank you, just done my self referral online. Then got super anxious that it says about letters 🤦🏻‍♀️ family can be quite nosey so worried now! X

Roxybaby12 · 02/04/2019 21:25

@MinnieLou
Just tell them it for your spear test!! 😉 x

MinnieLou · 02/04/2019 21:31

@Roxybaby12 I'm still 2 years away 🤣 I'm hoping they won't ask anything if they do I'll make something up on the spot!

I'm waiting for a referral for an MRI on my knee so could make something up about that...
Speaking of which.. would I even be able to have that done now? 🤔 x

happilyevernever · 02/04/2019 22:07

@agteacht Fingers crosses all goes well for you, I’ve had some implantation bleeding, it’s actually what made me test today (we weren’t ttc, but I had implantation bleeding with Vinnie so I just wanted to be sure). It’s pretty common early on and if nothing else comes of it I’d be pretty sure that you’re safe.

@Roxybaby12 will definitely keep everyone up to date, I’ll be on here all the time. It’s nice to talk to people in the same boat as you when the people irl can’t know.

I think I’m going to get off to sleep now, I can barely keep my eyes open!

Melonise · 02/04/2019 23:09

Hi All

Feeling late to the party but tested and got a BFP. NHS calculator suggests 6 December Grin.

Nagging twinges all day and big achey boobs. I'm also quite hungry but that may just be a subconscious excuse to stuff my face!

Melonise · 02/04/2019 23:09

*tested today

Kizzy8705 · 03/04/2019 00:03

@melonise welcome and congratulations

I’ve just woken up, put my son to bed at 8, had a cuddle with him, woke up confused in his bed 10 mins ago. The tiredness is a real struggle 😂

agteacht · 03/04/2019 07:51

Congrats @Melonise !

@happilyevernever oh thank you, was it short-lived? And congrats on your BFP ❤️

windysowindy · 03/04/2019 07:57

I am so hungry 😭
Is anyone here pregnant and breastfeeding?
My little one loves the boob and I can see me tandem feeding 😱😱😱

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 03/04/2019 08:07

I'm not so hungry but super thirsty. Already have my BFP but did a clear blue digital this morning and got 3+ so that's reassuring.

happilyevernever · 03/04/2019 08:56

@Melonise Congratulations! The NHS website said my due date is the 6th too!.

@agteacht Thank you! It lasted for a couple of days with Vinnie, but only a few hours with this one.

I’m the complete opposite of hungry, everything is making me feel sick. One of my clients cooks a big fry up for me when I go to hers in the morning and I have her today, so I don’t know how I’m going to power through and eat it!.

Lozzlepop · 03/04/2019 09:01

@Kizzy8705 Im from Fife in Scotland 😁I have had some nice sofa naps the past few days, DP is off for a few drinks tonight which means I cant have my usual car nap 😒

@Melonise congrats on your bfp, welcome to the thread 😊also a big congrats and welcome to any other new ladies that I may have missed, the thread is starting to move quite quick!

Has anyone else noticed an increased appetite? I am hungry constantly, even when I wake up in the middle of the night! 🤦🏽‍♀️I am 6 weeks today, got the midwife next Friday and early scan the following Saturday 😃it's all starting to feel very real!

Enwi · 03/04/2019 09:53

Hi everyone,
Could I (very!) tentatively join please?
Got my bfp this morning and feeling very overwhelmed. I have a 10 month old and 100% wanted this, but now it’s happened i’m not sure how to feel!
Do we have a Facebook group set up yet? Xx

Enwi · 03/04/2019 09:54

@windysowindy me! How old is your little one?

Lozzlepop · 03/04/2019 10:22

@Enwi congrats on your BFP! I'm sure once the news properly sinks in you will be thrilled! nope no facebook group as far as I know!
