I'm hoping I haven't missed a December 2019 thread- apologies if I have.
I got my BFP at 10dpo this morning, giving me an estimated due date of 2nd December.
I know it's incredibly early-I'm very nervous about that at the moment!
Is there anyone else with a December 2019 due date yet?

@Kizzy8705 I had a panic as I did a red one last week just to double check in a fit of paranoia and it looked very faint. I then tried one a few days later and it was v dark. I'll be 6 wks tomorrow. I think they are just a bit rubbish!

Roxybaby12 · 01/04/2019 18:02

Hi ladies,
Hope you’re all doing ok today? Can I ask some opinions please...
I had my bfp sat eve and Sunday morning on frer.. great! I had a CP a while back so thought I’d use my last Superdrug test to check if that line was still there this morning-the faintest of lines that then dissapeared! I thought Superdrug were meant to be ultra sensitive?? In my panic my DH popped out and got me a clear blue
digi that said pregnant 1-2..
so what’s up with the Superdrug one? Should I believe the digi or the Superdrug?
Also the Superdrug was 2nd wee of the morning-(couldn’t hold the 4am one anymore) 😉 the digi was 3rd wee!! Should I be worried?
Sorry it’s a little mumbled.. thanks everyone xx

@plipliop I've got my fingers crossed for you.

@marshallnevergetspicked I'm so sorry to hear that 💐

Thanks everyone for your support.
Still no AF.

I have FRER but don't think I can't take the disappointment. Does it make a difference using FMU?

None of the test boxes mention FMU

Currently holding my wee Grin

Dotty143 · 01/04/2019 19:01

@marshallnevergetspicked I’m so sorry to hear that. Sending love.

@roxybaby12 If you’re still getting positives on clearblue I’d try not to worry. I’ve heard Superdrug tests can be really hit and miss.

BostonFern · 01/04/2019 19:08

@Notanotherthomas sore boobs, tired and breathless today-bit nauseous too. The cramping seems a bit better today.

@Roxybaby12 Maybe the Superdrug one has been exposed to too high a temperature or its faulty? I'd be tempted to believe the clear blue digital, the technology in them looks pretty complex (low and high sensitivity strips: www.swissprecisiondiagnostics.com/downloads/ConceptionIndicatorTechBrochurefinal.pdf )

@plipliop I can't imagine how you feel, I think there's a table somewhere on mumsnet that tells you which urine is best depending on tour dpo.

Thanks @ dotty143 just thought I Superdrug would pick up the hcg. I think I’ll go with the digi-I know there not as sensative so there’s obviously hcg there! Lol..

@ plipliop I think all tests are better with fmu but my frer was Saturday evening but hadn’t had a drink or a wee for a while. When was af due? Maybe test in the morning? Keeping everything crossed for you. Xx

plipliop · 01/04/2019 19:19

AF was due on Sunday.
Still holding wee!

Lorna2019 · 01/04/2019 19:19

Hey,

Can I join?

I got a BFP today. I think?! I've looked at the test 1000 times then drove to Asda and secretly bought a First Response whilst my friend was looking at veg. As I'm new I can't upload the picture - wahhh!

I've said I'd take another test on Wednesday when my partner is off work so he can see it too, he's skeptical because the line is so faint. This is my first + test so I don't know what it should look like.

Have tender breasts, gone off food, cramping in lower back and knicker line.

Feel really nervous and can't talk to anyone until I know for sure. Terrified something will 'go wrong'

plipliop · 01/04/2019 19:20

@Lorna2019 congratulations and welcome!

Kizzy8705 · 01/04/2019 19:21

similar to mine. I don’t know when I ovulated, I wasn’t trying, I only know when my last period was cause my boyfriend text me about sex and I said no I’m on my period 😂 so I looked back at that date in my text messages

Kizzy8705 · 01/04/2019 19:23

Even if the lines faint it’s still a positive x

BostonFern · 01/04/2019 19:27

@Lorna2019 welcome and congratulations! Today's test sounds positive, hopefully you should see a darker line on Wednesday as your hcg increases.

I've come to the conclusion that the day you get your BFP is the first day of worrying about being a parent for the rest of your life- I am certain all my worries about the first trimester will become worries about the other trimesters, and once I have a child I'm sure I'll worry about them even when they are adults.

Welcome everyone who's new! I'm driving myself mad! Just bought clear blue digital so I can have the little read out. I'm 5+5 but so worried that something will go wrong.

plipliop · 01/04/2019 20:29

Ok I did the FRER and no line came up. There was a line before so I have my answer. Good luck to you all!!
Have consoled myself with a Cadbury creme egg Grin

JayDot500 · 01/04/2019 20:42

@philiop you finally released your pee! Sorry it's not the news you want but best wishes for the future Flowers. Love the creme egg consolation Grin

PeacockingAbout · 01/04/2019 20:46

@marshallnevergetspicked so sorry to hear that, look after yourself.

So sorry it's now a BFN @pilpliop, look after yourself

Made it through Monday - thank goodness i don't need to do that again for another week!

Hi @Lozzlepop! Thank you! Super excited 😊 The glamour can't be overstated! How was the baby shower? Any ideas to pinch for your own? We didn't do much for Mother's day, saw my parents for dinner and called DH's mum but was nice. DH felt terrible not telling his mum when he called her but he's the one who wants to wait to tell parents so...!

@PinkFizz19 welcome cycle buddy! We're even due the same day lol! I'm also finding I'm full faster and not interested in food at all - I'm not much of a foodie anyway but I was expecting more hunger. But time for that I guess. How lovely to tell parents on mothers day 😊

Super cute mothers days there @Kitty8705 and @codenameduchess, you've got good ones there!

@Dotty143 the broken sleep sucks doesn't it! You must be desperate for Easter!

@roxybaby12 I've found Superdrug ones rubbish, I had one which just totally didn't work- sample going one way and unidentified clear fluid going the other Hmm

Welcome and congratulations new people!

I'm rocking between not feeling pregnant, and really having loads of crampy and stretchy feelings! My whole stomach went rock hard and tender yesterday which was weird. Still no nausea, and not that tired yet! I am having the lovely 4am wakups but thankfully not many dreams yet! I feel like the wakups are to get you used to feeding times so they're ok -no idea the purpose of the dreams!

I've started wearing a sports bra over my regular bra and it's done wonders for the backache and headaches!! So highly recommend. Planning on getting some more with less obvious straps!

Has anyone else changed shape? I've never really had much in the way of hips - but I do as of yesterday! I feel like I've already put on weight - I don't think I'm eating more but I'm more bloated I think.

Kizzy8705 · 01/04/2019 20:56

Yes I resemble a potato atm

Roxybaby12 · 01/04/2019 21:13

Hi @PeacockingAbout
Thanks, I don’t think I’ll ever use superdrug tests again..
I have to say your post was buzzing to read! Lol.. were you excited writing it!? 😉
I’m totally in the same place as you with symptoms.. cramping/pulling in my lower tummy but good God the backache!! Lol.. gonna try the sports bra approach!
Weirdest thing is going off food, I only seem to want orange juice?? -I could do with losing more than a few pounds anyway as I didn’t really lose the weight from the last 2! 🤪 xx

BostonFern · 01/04/2019 21:27

Sorry to hear that @plipliop 💐

MinnieLou · 01/04/2019 21:29

Hi all,

Been trying to keep up with all the messages!

@marshallnevergetspicked so sorry to hear your news. I went through the same in January, please look after yourself.

I'm 4+5 at the moment, in January I miscarried at 5-6weeks so very nervous but trying to not think about it. On the bright side it already feels different this time somehow which I hope is good.

I'm super bloated and really feel like I've put on weight already lol, always needing to wee, such a backache and I've been waking up at 4am the past 4 nights! How strange!?

When did you tell your doctor in order to get in touch with the midwife?
I don't want to rush into it so holding out a little bit. X

MinnieLou · 01/04/2019 21:31

Sorry it's not what you expected @plipliop x

BostonFern · 01/04/2019 21:36

@MinnieLou I booked a Drs appointment and had my details passed to the midwife the day after my BFP as I know I'll be classed as high risk. That was two weeks ago, I see the GP tomorrow and the midwife rang today to arrange an appointment for the end of this month.

The sleeplessness is still going on here-anywhere between 2am and 4am, DP and I are joking it's like I have two nights. The need to wee was unreal last night too!
