Bubblesbabe

Just to say how sorry I am - it's a bitter blow I know having gone through it 3 times. What I always said to myself is at least I can console myself knowing I've got a lovely child to hug who is testament to past success and you have that 3 times over. I'm sure your kids will give you much comfort at this time and get back in that saddle as soon as you're good and ready!

Take care and hugs

lljkk · 17/07/2007 13:36

Sorry to hear the disappointing news, Bubbles. Never had a m/c, but would hope if I did I could feel exactly as you do.

Take it easy and pamper yourself a bit -- even if you can be logical about it, the hormonal kickback may still knock you over at some point.

rozzyraspberry · 17/07/2007 16:05

I am so sorry Bubblesbabe - I really hoped this wouldn't happen to anyone else on this thread - I'm really sorry that you are having to go through this.

Good luck to those of you who have scans this week. Very and will be thinking of you all. Looking forward to getting some more happy news on the thread.

bubblesbabe · 17/07/2007 16:07

I can honestly say that such incredible kindness from complete strangers is just wonderful and I am absolutely choked at how sweet you have all been.
Thank you so so much xxxxxxxxxxx

Lucylou21 · 17/07/2007 16:47

Just back from my weekend away and I am so sorry to hear your news bubblesbabe.

I got very sick on saturday and have now realised I've got a water infection. I'm in lots of pain and feel terrible, is this something to be seriously worried about during pregnancy? I've tried getting a docs appointment but they've got nothing and my midwife hasn't rung me back since I left a message earlier.

Egg · 17/07/2007 16:54

Bubblesbabe, glad we are helping you out at this sad time, felt very emotional reading your post just then, feels like we have all become friends, hope you feel you can pop in now and again to say hello .

Lucylou - water infections can be serious in pregnancy if left untreated, as they can lead to kidney probs etc which can affect the baby if I remember correctly . Think UTIs are more common in pregnancy and easily treated though so you will be fine, just chase the doc or midwife!

Lucylou21 · 17/07/2007 17:04

I've phoned NHS Direct and explained all. I'll be off to the out of hours doctors service as my GP can't see me until tomorrow and that's IF I can get an appointment. All we need now is a babysitter for Dd, fingers crossed.

Egg · 17/07/2007 17:27

Good on you luclyou. Am sure it would be fine if you left it for a couple of days but if you are in pain / really uncomfortable then you want to be seen asap. Good luck and keep us posted.

Feeling too well this afternoon, had a nice nap and have not overdone it so much and now am worrying that I don't feel PG. This is getting ridiculous. Can't wait til kicking starts so we don't worry so much (although then we worry about lack of kicking...).

manamana · 17/07/2007 17:47

oh bubblesbabe, so sorry to hear your news, sending you a big virtual hug while shovelling food in ds and mnetting at same time but didn't want to not post and miss you. take care of yourself and keep hugging those dcs.

Redbush · 17/07/2007 20:25

Just to add my so sorry bubblesbabe. Sending big hugs your way.

beansprout · 17/07/2007 21:07

Am really sorry bubblesbabe. I miscarried in April so have some idea of how you feel. Please take care of yourself xx

morningglory · 17/07/2007 21:12

I'm so sorry bubblesbabe. I can empathize with what you are going through (I had a mc in April). I can only send you a virtual hug. Take it easy for a bit, and let yourself mourn. Hope to see you soon again on these boards.

DearBeatrice · 17/07/2007 22:07

i'd like to add sympathies to bubblesbabe - and agree that your bravery is so admirable. wishing you every best wish and keep safe

pobletsmum · 17/07/2007 22:12

Bubblesbabe - so very sorry to hear your sad news. Please take care of yourself. Have lots of hugs with your DC too.

beansprout · 18/07/2007 04:07

Ok, have now been awake for 2 hours fretting about all manner of things. My hormones are playing a blinder and I just seem to be crying and anxious a lot of the time at the moment. To top it all I was actually supposed to be going out tonight but can't now as dh as a v important work thing he has to go do. I'm such a wife sometimes. I used to be quite independent you know, no, really I was.....

Egg · 18/07/2007 07:00

Oh Beany you poor thing. I was awake at 4am when you posted, but lying in bed listening to DS coughing and coughing, poor lad. Hope you are feeling better now. I did that on Saturday night, tears for no reason, getting upset because DH was watching a film and I was in bed unable to sleep. I haven't had a life for ages so don't even miss my independence now , although do occasionally wish I could pop out without DS, just to wander round the shops or something without a pushchair....

Anyway, hope everyone is ok today. Good luck to leesmum!!!!!

Jo9977 · 18/07/2007 10:41

Morning everyone!

Think we've got a paranoid blip among us...I don't feel pregnant anymore either Egg, just a bit fat!! Really sympathise with the sleepless night thinking over things scenario, that has got to be one of the worst!

Hope it goes well today leesmum and anyone else - let us know how you get on!

And hope you get sorted soon lucylou...sounds grim.

Bumblesmum · 18/07/2007 10:46

Morning,
I feel terrible this morning, has anyone else had problems with spots and a sudden onset of greasy hair? Any tips to get rid of them. I have never suffered with spots or greasy hair ever not even through puberty. And my stomach is getting huge, it is getting very difficult to hide it at work now.
