September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

@abi2790 I paid for a private one with my first at 10 weeks and it was lovely! If your going to pay try and hold out for as long as you can so you get to see a heartbeat x

Hsunshine · 03/01/2019 21:39

I am same as you and have booked private one, if it is something bad I would rather know sooner

mrss2018 · 03/01/2019 22:15

I'm with you @Hsunshine - if the GP won't refer me for one I'll pay.

I mc at 10.5 weeks but baby stopped growing at 5...I hated that for 5 weeks I didn't know.

Hopefully everything will be fine (for us all!) after all look at how many healthy babies are born every day! But if there were something wrong I'd rather know sooner!

stroan · 03/01/2019 22:34

@waiting4arainbow keeping everything crossed for good news at your scan.

I’m booking a private scan for around 10 weeks. I had bad bleeds at around that time with DD and was very anxious in the lead up to the 12 week scan. It was a 3-4 day wait for an early scan so had a private one for reassurance. Even without the bleeds this time, I’m expecting the anxiety to start ramping up.

I was back at work today - I honestly don’t know how I stayed awake all day! Between the reduced caffeine and the general knackeredness I was half asleep at my desk for most of the day.

waiting4arainbow · 04/01/2019 08:24

Thanks @stroan I'm trying to stay positive 🤞🏻
Let's hope it's good news for us all going for early scans xx

Karigan195 · 04/01/2019 09:36

I’m hoping the dr will let me have an early scan. Seeing her Tuesday as she hasn’t been in work for the last week. If she doesn’t I’m totally booking a private one.

I’m worried already as symptoms seem to be reducing a bit but it may just be me getting used to them.

Karigan195 · 04/01/2019 09:36

Oh I’m 5+5 today :)

Easterbuns1 · 04/01/2019 11:18

I phoned to make my booking appointment today and no appointments available til end of the month when I will be over 8 weeks. Had already been seen twice and had a scan by that point with my last pregnancy that ended in mc. Got to try the hospital and see if they can see me a little sooner, if not then tough I suppose.

jellybaby2019 · 04/01/2019 11:48

Hi all, I'm 5 weeks tomorrow, due 7-sept. I got my midwife appointment through today for mid February - I will be 11 weeks by then. Does this seem late?

I'm grumpy that it is so far away! Blush

waiting4arainbow · 04/01/2019 11:49

Anyone else getting really spotty? 🙈 I don't remember this in my last pregnancy. Maybe it's all the chocolate I ate over Christmas 😂

April88 · 04/01/2019 11:56

@waitingforarainbow my skin is horrendous! Like you though not sure if it’s chocolate or hormones

@jellybaby2019 in my area they do the first appointment at around 8 weeks and then book in for a 12 week scan but I guess everywhere is different

Tefiti2 · 04/01/2019 12:01

@jellybaby it does sound a little late- I don’t blame you for being grumpy! The only thing I would confirm with them is that there would still be enough time after that to refer you for your 3 month scan, which needs to be done by 14 weeks if you would like the nuchal fold measured along with the combined blood test screening.

@waiting4arainbow yes! I have a cluster of spots right bang in the middle of my cheek, aside from those and sore boobs are the only actual symptoms I seem to have!

@karigan95 I hope you are referred for an early scan, 12 weeks is such a long time away. I’m 5+5 today too and feel the same re symptoms, my poor boobs are getting frequently prodded!

Langpants · 04/01/2019 13:48

Hi everyone!

Is anyone else 5+4 today?

Patience has never been one of my virtues. How is everyone keeping themselves sane while waiting for their first appointments and scans?!

I've booked an early private scan at 7 weeks and can't wait to see that everything is ok. x

happydays00 · 04/01/2019 17:50

I'm due 10th September so 4 +3 I think.

I too was nearly falling asleep at my desk today and am incredibly bloated I am having to wear smock dresses as my jeans won't do up comfortably!

I was exactly the same with my DD and my sickness kicked in about 6/7 weeks so have a bit of an impending sense of doom feeling. Already feeling impatient for the 12 week scan - think I will book a private one around 8 weeks

Osney · 04/01/2019 18:54

Greetings all! Happy New Year!

Very excited to say after 3 years trying I got my BFP today...edd is 1st September. I've got a DS aged 3.5. In total shock at the result - I had all manner of medical problems during and since my last one and was going down the IVF route. Don't want to get my hopes up just yet but so so delighted!!

BeeYouTiful · 04/01/2019 22:36

Hey @jellybaby2019 we share the same due date. I've not had my appointment yet but if it's as late as yours I too will be grumpy.

Hope everyone is doing well, I still don't 'feel' pregnant. Well I've one sore boob and nausea is beginning to creep in, during the evening. So different to DS1 and DS2

jellybaby2019 · 05/01/2019 01:37

@BeeYouTiful congratulations on your news!

I also don't feel very pg yet. I've been really really grumpy today. I'm now unable to sleep and feeling a bit queasy. Most likely because I'm shattered. DP is snoring and I actually want to kill him right now! Compared to my previous pregnancies however, this seems fine!

Sending good luck and congrats to all the September m2b x

Frillyfarmer · 05/01/2019 09:14

Hello - can I join? I'm 10DPO and just got my BFP this morning, I know it's quite early, I'm just taking it all in to be honest! This will be DC2!

Snoopie · 05/01/2019 12:29

Congrats to all newcomers!
So sorry to those who've had bad news already. That was me last year, so I know how hard it hits you, please take care of yourselves.

I've been lurking since my last post. Mostly because I've been feeling great! Full of energy and enjoying the holidays. Hitting 6 weeks now and back to work - feeling terrible! No energy, can't sleep, feeling sick. Cramps throughout the day in various places. Anyone else feeling awful?!

I've decided I'm not going to allow myself an early scan. How little bean is doing is mostly out of my control, so I just tell myself today I am pregnant and just get on with it. Easier said than done sometimes tho! I'm also skint after Christmas haha.

W0MANlikeME · 05/01/2019 12:35

My skin was awful during weeks 4 and 5, seems to have calmed down a bit now (6+1)

Was meant to phone for booking in appointment yesterday but forgot. Oops. Did atleast buy some vitamins. I got asda ones with omega 3.

Must remember to phone about appointment on Monday!

Erin4000 · 05/01/2019 13:38

Congratulations to those who have just found out. And so sorry to those experiencing loss - I know how hard it is.

Is anyone else feeling a bit low. I feel like a have a constant hangover, the sick feeling but also the blues (if any of you get that). Not sure if it’s the hormones. Didn’t have this with my previous pregnancies 😔 x

jellybaby2019 · 05/01/2019 14:04

@Erin4000

Congratulations on your pregnancy,
I'm sorry you don't feel great. The first trimester can really be rubbish can't it?

I understand completely what you mean about the blues. I've been feeling grumpy, simmering background rage (not dissimilar from PMT), total impatience and generally not wanting to even speak to anyone. I also don't want to be touched at all. My poor DP is getting it in the neck at the moment no matter what he does. My anxiety is also pretty high even though I'm not worrying about any specific one thing.

I don't remember feeling like this with my other PGs either but finding comfort in the fact that there are another's feeling similar.

Hope you feel a bit brighter soon x

Erin4000 · 05/01/2019 14:08

Thanks @jellybaby2019 😀 sorry you’re feeling this way too but at the same time it’s reassuring that it’s not just me! I feel guilty about it.

Hoping to have a scan soonish so that may perk me up (if all is well). X

abi2790 · 05/01/2019 14:08

Congratulations to those who have joined us.

I'm really struggling with the tiredness. I have a lot of work to do and finding it really hard.

Tefiti2 · 05/01/2019 14:18

Sorry to everyone feeling tired and rubbish, I hope it passes soon for all of you!

I had a small bleed this morning, which seems to have tapered off, but I’m not holding out much hope. The midwife has managed to squeeze me in for an early scan on Monday so at least I don’t have to wait in limbo for very long.
