September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

Hoping you manage to get some sleep @impatientmammy xx
I had constipation really badly with my first pregnancy - apparently it’s common 😳 sorry you’re suffering @abi2790 I’m taking pregnancare, what are you taking?

abi2790 · 02/01/2019 22:55

Thank you @tefiti2. I don't remember being this bad with my first two. It's the seven seas one. I'm thinking it might be the iron in them so I may just buy the folic acid and vit d separate

@impatientmammy I'm 5 weeks today. Hope your spotting has stopped, I had it in both of my previous pregnancies and it was fine both times, a worry though I know.

I got on OK with the superdrug ones last time. Pregnacare made me feel awful. I'm just taking folic acid atm until I can get into town to get the superdrug ones again

impatientmammy · 03/01/2019 07:44

It's red and period like now. Thank you ladies for your support. Do I need to do anything? I've never lost one before I'm about 4 weeks 6 days x

Tefiti2 · 03/01/2019 07:51

Oh lovely I’m so sorry @impatientmammy - phone your local EPU and explain to them, they may offer you a scan in 2 weeks time or they may not, local guidelines vary so much. Take it easy today, is there anyone to look after your DC? Xx

Tefiti2 · 03/01/2019 07:53

Sorry I just wanted to add - lots of ladies experience bleeds in early pregnancy and are completely fine, the only way to know is with a scan or bloods to see how the pregnancy is progressing xx

impatientmammy · 03/01/2019 08:04

@Tefiti2 it's enough I could use a tampon this morning and red. It's not just a little bit is the scan necessary for health reasons? I'm ok but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy having a scan x

abi2790 · 03/01/2019 08:07

I'm sorry @impatientmammy

With my early MCs they referred me for a scan when I would have been 6 weeks, but that just might be my local EPU, give yours a call and they will give you their advice. So sorry this is happening to you x

mrss2018 · 03/01/2019 09:32

So sorry @impatientmammy I wouldn't use tampons, they increase the risk of infection. Stay off and look after yourself! There are many reasons for bleeding in pregnancy- I would contact your GP if you are having severe cramps and filling as much as a pad an hour....lots of love x

April88 · 03/01/2019 09:41

So sorry @impatientmummy. I’d ring your GP - my EPU doesn’t scan until 6 weeks but they could do blood tests to check your HPG levels?

impatientmammy · 03/01/2019 10:42

Thank you ladies I just got a bfn. This obviously wasn't meant to be my time. I'm going to unfollow this thread now I don't want to bring the mood down🙈 congratulations to you all. Take care of yourselves x

Pigeonwings · 03/01/2019 11:13

Sorry for your loss @impatientmammy. I know how hard it is xx

waiting4arainbow · 03/01/2019 15:16

So GP has referred me to EPU for a reassurance scan but it's next Tuesday the 8th I will only be around 5wks 4 days! Will they even see anything? 🙈 I'm thinking the fact that's it's unlikely to see anything is gonna make me even more anxious. X

Karigan195 · 03/01/2019 15:23

Might. Fetal pole etc become visible around then so you might be ok. I was looking at booking a private one and the time is from 6 weeks. But I wouldn’t worry if there isn’t as they’ll probably just put you to the following week as it’s too early

mrss2018 · 03/01/2019 16:21

@waiting4arainbow I was thinking of asking for a reassurance scan- were they ok when you asked? I'm at the GP on 15th Jan!

waiting4arainbow · 03/01/2019 17:15

Yeah they was fine @mrss2018 but my last two pregnancies were ectopic so they have to scan me early, I think if you've had a previous loss they do it x

mrss2018 · 03/01/2019 17:19

@waiting4arainbow I hope so...even to confirm my dates!

At least if there's not much to see that early they'll be able to make sure it's settled in the right place this time! X

Tefiti2 · 03/01/2019 17:21

That is quite early @waiting4arainbow - prepare yourself for them not seeing much or a heartbeat, and calling you back in a few days or a week after Flowers

waiting4arainbow · 03/01/2019 17:50

@mrss2018 yeah that's what I'm hoping just to see a sack so I know it's not stuck somewhere else

waiting4arainbow · 03/01/2019 17:51

@Tefiti2 after googling the hell out of it I've come to terms that I won't really see anything other than hopefully a sac 🤞🏻 that's enough for me right now just to know it's not in my tube x

Tefiti2 · 03/01/2019 19:21

I totally understand that, I hope you get to see even a hint of your rainbow baby @waiting4arainbow - I’ve got an early scan in a few weeks and I’ll be 7+5, literally counting down the days as i won’t believe it until I see it!

Crashbumpthud · 03/01/2019 20:24

@waiting

I think you should be able to see something at 5 weeks but don’t worry if you can’t. I think it depends a bit on your hcg level too.

@impatient Flowers I’m so sorry. Please take care of yourself. X

abi2790 · 03/01/2019 21:17

I think I'm going to pay for an early private scan. I haven't had any losses before but I suffer with quite bad anxiety. Do you think getting a reassurance scan would be a good idea? I don't think my gp would refer me for one
