September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

@Tefiti2 sorry to hear about the bleed, fingers crossed it’s just one of those unexplained things and baby is fine. Oddly - I had a bleed in my successful pregnancy (with no reason found) but no bleeding in my MMC. Such a stressful time 😔 xx

WingingIt09 · 05/01/2019 15:07

Anyone else worried about lack of symptoms? This pregnancy is so differ to my first. I'm 5+5 and with my first pregnancy I had severe sickness at this stage and strong symptoms (so strong a midwife thought it might be twins but it wasn't). With this pregnancy my symptoms are mild and come and go. Mild nausea only in the evenings, my boobs aren't really bothering me other than occasional twinges and the same with cramps. I can't help but worry that something is going to go wrong with this pregnancy because of it and keep checking my knickers for any sign of blood...

Karigan195 · 05/01/2019 16:49

I’m 5+6 and my symptoms eased off a bit but I think it’s because we get used to the hormones a bit before the next wave hits us.

My boobs hurt, had a little nausea yesterday and the odd cramp. Most disturbing is that my stomach has extended already despite it being early days. Logically I know this is bloat but I’m avoiding fizz, salt and not overeating so a bit worried I’m going to be ‘found out’ before I’m ready. I’m usually a size 10/12 so pretty medium. Shouldn’t be struggling to ‘suck it in’ already!!

happydays00 · 05/01/2019 17:03

wingingit I am feeling exactly the same!! I am nearly 5 weeks and during my last pregnancy at this stage my boobs were agonising, I had severe nausea, tiredness and rage!!

I'd say I still have a medium rage (DH has been snapped at a few times) and I have felt extremely tired today but the cramping and nausea is minimal compared to last time!

I suffered with severe HG from 6 weeks until the day my DD was born so I'm praying these relatively mild symptoms so far mean I might escape it this time round!

Tefiti2 · 05/01/2019 17:18

Thank you for your kind words @erin4000 Flowers. With my last 2 pregnancies my experiences of early scans have been really negative so I’m trying to be positive this time!

Osney · 05/01/2019 17:54

Question: how likely is it to see a heartbeat on a scan at 6+3? That's the most pessimistic date poss - could be anything up to 7+1....reason I ask is next Sunday is my dad's birthday and I'd love to share the news then - but only if I'm pretty confident things will work out. Thinking of getting a scan next Friday/Saturday so I can put the picture in his bday card.

lightningpaw · 05/01/2019 18:21

BFP on New Years Day, 6 wks today, EDD is 5th September!

No symptoms yet apart from sore boobs and occasional twinges and cramping! Oh and lots of burping?!

Karigan195 · 05/01/2019 18:30

Heartbeat isn’t guaranteed on a scan until 8 weeks

Karigan195 · 05/01/2019 18:31

Possible at 7 though particularly with transvaginal rather than abdomen

WingingIt09 · 05/01/2019 19:46

@happydays00 I know what you mean. I am hopeful to avoid the severe sickness this time, I ended up signed off work for weeks. There is no way I could cope with the same now whilst having to look after my 15 month old. So I am quite happy not to be ill but also making me nervous. So silly 🙈

Babybee88 · 05/01/2019 20:09

Can I join please? Got my BFP today and still in total shock! This was our first month TTC and we only DTD once Blush It took us 7 months to conceive DD, so definitely didn't expect to fall pregnant first time! Due date is 16th September and we already have a 17 month old. I'm a bit all over the place at the moment emotionally! Very happy but also terrified at the thought of having a 2 year old and a newborn!

peaches19 · 06/01/2019 08:11

@wingingit I am totally the same re lack of symptoms, not even sore boobs which I definitely had at this stage last time! (I’m 5+5). I just don’t feel pregnant which is worrying me...

Congratulations to everyone else joining!

mrss2018 · 06/01/2019 09:40

Is anybody else having weird dreams? I don't usually remember them but they've been really strange and vivid over the past few nights!!

Msd2416 · 06/01/2019 10:30

Yes yes yes to the dreaming I have about 3 different but really vivid dreams a night feel like I’m constantly watching tv haha!

LeaBC · 06/01/2019 10:39

Is anybody else having dull cramps/aches low down? I’ve been having them a lot but they are not really painful, just a bit uncomfortable. They feel a bit like period cramps. I’ve also had clear/white discharge (sorry if TMI!) I am 4+4 xx

daydreamdaisy · 06/01/2019 11:45

@LeaBC I am, and horrible constipation so I can't tell what pain is coming from where Grin the joys of new life! I got told cramps/pains on and off were normal just to keep an eye for bleeding or constant, very strong pain.

Has anyone else lost the ability to sleep? I have tossed and turned for the last few nights and am wandering around like a zombie Sad

Osney · 06/01/2019 11:59

@LeaBC your symptoms sound exactly like mine...the goo down there keeps making me run to the loo to check all is well!

LeaBC · 06/01/2019 13:35

@daydreamdaisy and @osney that makes me feel so much better that you girls are going through similar symptoms to me! I keep checking the wet feeling at the toilet too! Apart from the cramps and discharge, I've only really got tender boobs/nipples. I haven't felt much else apart from I'm really tired...

I'm a primary school teacher and back to school tomorrow which I'm dreading a bit!

Erin4000 · 06/01/2019 16:04

Talking of discharge (you’re were right? 😬) - does anyone have slightly yellow discharge. I’m not sure whether to be concerned. Mostly it’s clear but now and then pale yellow. I think I had this last time but quite a bit later on. I was swabbed and all fine.
Not sure whether to wait til booking or see the GP.

Wonder if it’s the vitamins as they are turning my wee bright yellow X

MrsRRC · 06/01/2019 17:55

Hi ladies,

I got my BFP on Boxing Day. I am due 6th September. Currently 5&5. I’m 38 and this will be my first. I had a CP in October and we have been properly trying since September.

I’m feeling quite anxious because of the CP, so far my symptoms have been quite mild. Apart from the gas and trapped wind! Which is delightful. I am already sick of peppermint tea.

I have a feeling most of my symptoms worsen at night. My boobs wake me up and I have woken up in the night feeling quite nauseous and groggy but I manage to go off again quite quickly. I have mild cramping intermittently throughout the day.

I self referred to the midwives online last Thursday and am waiting for an appointment and am slowly losing my grip on which person I’ve told the dry Jan/antibiotics lie to. Going to have to create some sort of spreadsheet. Ha ha.

WingingIt09 · 06/01/2019 19:53

@peaches19 I know. I feel I should be grateful to not be feeling rough (and I am glad to not be wing up!) the symptoms are somewhat reassuring. My husband looked at me like I was losing the plot when I said I was worried about not being sick 😂🙈

Mumtobe89 · 06/01/2019 20:52

Tentatively joining you all. Had a BFP this morning 10dpo. My last period was 1st December but I ovulated very late this month on CD27 so EDD 16th September though I imagine this will change.
Feeling tentative as had a MMC back in October. GP appointment booked for the 17th so will ask if an early scan is possible.

Symptoms at the moment are stuffy nose (!) and strange taste!

abi2790 · 06/01/2019 21:56

Congratulations to all the ladies that have joined us.

I have booked a private scan for the 20th when I'll be 7 weeks. I couldn't wait till the 12 week scan.

The tiredness is getting worse (at a time when I really do not need to be tired!)

I'm also pretty low at the minute. My grandma died very suddenly just before Christmas and we had the funeral on Friday so I'm having ups and downs at the minute. As much as weren't expecting this pregnancy, it's helped me get through the past couple of weeks.

Hi everyone, I found out on Friday - edd September 15th! Still in shock - this is hopefully going to be our third. The eldest going back to school tomo after the Xmas break and the youngest has got a mild arm injury so haven’t really had time to properly think about it yet. Congratulations to all new mums to be x

Lavellan · 06/01/2019 23:03

Hi everyone. Had a positive test on the 2nd Jan (and another on the 3rd because I couldn't quite believe it lol). According to Fertility Friend I'll be 5 weeks in a couple days.

I must be a pessimist because I think I convinced myself we'd have problems, but it only took 3 months so I'm chuffed. Now the fearing the worst has moved to constant symptom monitoring. Isn't anxiety a joy?

Because I am normally quite anxious I can't tell if my food aversion is stress or preg. I think the worry is actually related to going back to work after Christmas break, so here's hoping next week I feel a bit more like me and that the world isn't actually crashing down.xx nice to meet you all.
