September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

@waitingforarainbow me too!!!😫 but then we are still so early that sickness etc hasn’t properly kicked in! I keep prodding my boobs to see if they are sore (I need to remember I am at work!)

waiting4arainbow · 02/01/2019 11:31

@Pigeonwings me too I've just been doing the same thinking why aren't you tender any more 🙈 My mind is now going into overdrive I'm only 4wks 4days x

waiting4arainbow · 02/01/2019 11:32

@impatientmammy I was about to call gp to get referred for my reassurance scan now I'm wondering if I should even bother. Not got a very good feeling now x

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 11:49

@waiting4arainbow call them and book it. My boobs were sore just before I tested but nothing at all really since I can imagine it must be harder when you've lost babies before but I think it's very normal for symptoms to come and go at this early stage. They might even be able to talk to you a little about it. Sending love and positive vibes your way x

Jennyjones18 · 02/01/2019 12:07

I Started bleeding heavy this morning and cramping, having a chemical pregnancy,?was 5 weeks pregnant today. absolutely devastated this was my first pregnancy and I got so excited. Husband can’t understand why I’m so emotional and said we will just try again next month :( told a few people in my excitement too which I now have to explain what’s happend- my own fault.😢💔 feel so alone xxx

Karigan195 · 02/01/2019 12:10

Oh Jenny I’m sorry to hear that. Only time will heal that ache but you aren’t alone. We might only be virtual but we understand. I had a miscarriage in May so understand completely. Virtual hugs

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 12:29

@Jennyjones18 look after yourself. A loss is a loss no mater how soon. I'm sorry your partner doesn't understand how you feel but like @Karigan195 we are all here for you and I think there's threads on mumsnet too for people going through the same thing as well x

Msd2416 · 02/01/2019 13:08

@jennyjones18 must be so hard - thinking about you!

waiting4arainbow · 02/01/2019 13:26

So sorry to hear @Jennyjones18 xxThanks

Tefiti2 · 02/01/2019 13:45

So so sorry @jennyjones18 - be gentle with yourself, you are not to blame and nothing you have done caused your loss. There are a lovely group of ladies on the conception board who have all experienced losses, I hope you find some comfort there xx

mrss2018 · 02/01/2019 13:51

Can I join please?
Got my BFP yesterday!
DD is 8th September but this is tentative as I'm not sure what day I ovulated (damn flashing smiley for 5 days!) and my cycles vary from 25-35 days so worked it out from my LMP and average cycle length!

This my second pregnancy- the first ended in MC at 10.5 weeks so hoping for a better outcome this time!
Trying to keep calm but I'm just so excited!!!

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 14:58

Congratulations @mrss2018 I think my EDD will change too I tend to ovulate late and all the apps are suggesting different days. Pretty certain we'll miss the school cut off though 🙈 x

stroan · 02/01/2019 17:15

Is anyone else completely exhausted? I don’t remember feeling this tired so early the first time round but I keep falling asleep during the day and I’m in bed no later than 9.30!

We did have a crazy Christmas/New Hear and I’ve had a stinking cold. Did a mum fitness class this morning so hopefully getting back to exercise will give me an energy boost!

April88 · 02/01/2019 17:35

I’m exhausted too!

I’ve booked a private early scan for the 20th where I’ll be 7 weeks 3 days, hopefully everything will be ok! Filled in the midwife form as well, they normally book in an appointment for around 8 weeks where I am (Bristol)

Itsalwayssunny · 02/01/2019 19:26

So tired and my nausea has started today. I'm feeling pretty anxious too. I think I'll book to see my GP next week to see if I can get an early scan to help the anxiety. Dc2 is 17 months and on the go constantly so no time for resting, not sure how that is going to work if my sickness and nausea is as bad this time.

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 19:45

How far gone are you @Itsalwayssunny ?
Hope it works @stroan I'm going back to class in a week or so did you tell your instructor your pregnant?
Oooh are you going to show us your scan pics @April88 I can live through you 😂 x

Msd2416 · 02/01/2019 19:49

I’m so unsure of what an earth exercise wise I can do it’s my first so I’ve been walking a lot and swimming. Doctors booked for next wed so will ask for some advice then too! Any tips? Should I do nothing until then?

April88 · 02/01/2019 19:55

@impatientmummy
Will do if all ok! Probably just be a blob at that point Grin

stroan · 02/01/2019 20:23

@impatientmammy I did tell her because she is a specialist in pre and post natal fitness and is pregnant herself! She gave easier alternatives to each exercise that I could pick if I felt I needed to.

@msd2416 I think the general advice is not to start anything new and not to do anything that gets your heart rate really high. I’ve been doing these classes for 3 months and they are suitable for pregnant women, plus I’ll try to keep up with a little bit of gentle running and swimming. I did hardly anything last time and really struggled afterwards so want to be a little fitter this time.

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 20:38

@stroan my ladies pre and postnatal qualifies too I've been going nearly two years now. I don't really want the other girls guessing though I might talk to her and just double check what I can't do so I can change things without her needing to say 🤔

I've been spotting today 😕 x

Tefiti2 · 02/01/2019 21:19

Sorry to hear about the spotting @impatientmammy hope it’s just baby getting nice and cosy :-) how are you feeling?
Congratulations to all the new lovely ladies xx

impatientmammy · 02/01/2019 21:40

Just a bit worried @Tefiti2 I've not had any pregnancy symptoms. I've got very faint cramping but I have done since before my BFP. I've put a pad in and come to bed I'll see how things are in the morning x

Karigan195 · 02/01/2019 21:43

I’ve been very unhealthily googling signs and risks of miscarriage. Not that I’ve had any signs I’m just scared it’ll happen. But one of the things I keep reading is that spotting is common and it’s usually only a worry if it turns red or gets heavier. So don’t worry about it too much just raise it with the dr ASAP

stroan · 02/01/2019 21:47

Keeping everything crossed @impatientmammy

Spotting is common and doesn’t have to be anything bad. It’s very stressful though, take it easy x

abi2790 · 02/01/2019 22:46

Keeping everything crossed @impatientmammy

I think my pregnancy vitamins are giving me stomach pain & constipation. Which brand is everybody taking?
