September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

Hi everyone, please can I join too. Got a super squinty BFP on 26th Dec and then a good clear line today 😁 I think my due date will be around the 11th Sept. This is my (hopefully) second baby, I've been pregnant 3 times now but the first one ended in a MMC unfortunately which means I'm
already worrying like crazy about this one 🤦‍♀️

daydreamdaisy · 29/12/2018 05:57

Can I tentatively join? Had my first long awaited BFP yesterday/this morning, should I think be due at the start of Sept. Just hoping it sticks!
Do I book in for a GP appointment right away or wait? I'm still a bit in shock!

Florencenotflo · 29/12/2018 06:37

Congratulations everyone! @daydreamdaisy I think it depends on where you live. Phone your gp surgery and ask. Here you used to fill in a form at the gp surgery but didn't actually need to see the doctor. Now you self refer to the midwives online. So much easier!

I did mine and got a call the same day to book my booking in appointment which is on 7th January.

Pigeonwings · 29/12/2018 06:44

Welcome to everyone - it’s great to see so many here already. I am soo hot! I keep waking up to strip off! I don’t remember that symptom last time!

purplerainbows · 29/12/2018 07:28

@Pigeonwings yes me too! I am boiling hot all the time, was one of things I noticed before a positive test as well.

waiting4arainbow · 29/12/2018 08:26

I still feel like I'm dreaming 🙈 anyone else keep looking at their positive test over and over again 😂?
Trying not to over think it tho until I'm confident it's in the right place this time! Will hopefully find out in. Couple of weeks x

abi2790 · 29/12/2018 08:29

Amazing to see so many new people! Congratulations everyone.
Ugh I'm constantly boiling. I suffer with night sweats anyway because of the medication I am on but they have seriously ramped up! I'm waking up every night soaking wet Shock

Yes to all of a sudden having hot flashes!! Apparently it’s caused by the hormones shifting - so dr. Google says Wink

daydreamdaisy · 29/12/2018 09:27

@waiting4arainbow me too - I've been carrying mine around much to the disgust of DH! Grin

Yes to the feeling hot flush-y, was one of my first symptoms too as well as feeling shaky/nausea at around 7:30pm 4 nights in a row like clockwork!

I've been having lots of little cramps and twinges too, but google has reassured me this is normal as nothing properly painful and no blood. Just uncomfortable at times.

Florencenotflo · 29/12/2018 16:15

We've been out shopping today. So tempting wandering round John Lewis to have a look at the baby section, DH sensibly directed me away Grin we both said we wouldn't get carried away too soon. I did that last time and then had to return or hide stuff I'd bought.

I did buy 2 maternity bras though, they're flattering aren't they. I'd forgotten about the sausage boob look they seem to create! But they are so much more comfortable than my usual ones.

impatientmammy · 29/12/2018 18:00

Ladies talking about hot flushes I'm dreading the summer 😂 i was wearing a T-shirt in December last year August is going to be awful 🙈
I just wanna talk about the fact I'm pregnant continuously 🙄 hope you guys are just as obsessed x

impatientmammy · 29/12/2018 18:00

Last time not last year. I hate that you can't edit posts on this x

Tefiti2 · 29/12/2018 18:53

Oh gosh @florencenotflo i’d forgotten about the sausage silhouette 😂 it must have been hard staying away from the baby section especially with the sales! Yes @impatientmammy I’m glad we have this group - my DH works away and never has signal so I need to release my hopefulness somewhere!!

impatientmammy · 29/12/2018 19:06

@Tefiti2 mine too he's away for three then back for three what does your other half work x

hannahetc · 29/12/2018 21:12

Hi all, can I join in? I got a BFP on Xmas eve evening and again on Xmas day first thing. It’s long awaited and I had a MMC with twins in the summer so I’m terrified tbh! My EDD is 3 sept. My only symptoms so far are sore boobs so I’m worried things are going to same way as last time.

abi2790 · 30/12/2018 05:18

congratulations and welcome @hannahetc. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Hi

Can I join? Found out on Boxing Day and have just been letting it sink in. Smile Told my parents and in laws yesterday but have sworn them to secrecy.

I have some cramping and that’s about it at the moment. It’s very disconcerting as it feels exactly like when my period is about to start. I’ve been told it’s normal to have cramping though.

@hannahetc fingers crossed for you xxx

Crashbumpthud · 30/12/2018 08:25

Oh and according g to the due date calculator I’m 4th September x

Tefiti2 · 30/12/2018 09:37

It’s hard sometimes isn’t it @impatientmammy? Mine works at sea and does 2 weeks on 2 weeks off, where does your OH work?
Congratulations to all the new posters Smile. @hannahetc it’s hard after a loss, I totally understand, my only symptom is sore boobs too really - which is very common!

purplerainbows · 30/12/2018 11:05

@Florencenotflo yep attractive sausage boob bras here too 😂

Anyone else obsessed with still POAS every day to check the line is getting darker? I need to stop, it's going to cost me a fortune 🤦‍♀️

impatientmammy · 30/12/2018 11:55

@Tefiti2 he's in the merchant navy he's been doing it the whole 8 years we've been together so I'm kind of used to it. We have a 3 year old who coped really well with it so I think knowing it's going to be ok is a comfort. I am terrified of lone parenting at the end of my pregnancy though. It'll be nice having you here as someone who understand x

Erin4000 · 30/12/2018 16:19

I’m terrible with testing @purplerainbows it’s cost me a fortune. By dates I am 5 weeks today so just did a clear blue digital and got 3+ weeks. That’s reassured me for now even though I know there’s no guarantees xx

Tefiti2 · 30/12/2018 17:53

Lovely to speak to someone who gets it too @impatientmammy 😊 we have a 5 year old too and the thought only occurred to me last night.. how do you do bedtimes with a child and a newborn single handedly?! 😂

Hope everyone is feeling well.. tiredness kicking in here - I don’t remember it coming as early as 5 weeks before!

April88 · 30/12/2018 18:12

Hi everyone

I found out last Sunday and I’m due 5th Sept. I lost one in October at 6 weeks so very nervous, probably going to book an early scan!

Only symptoms are sore boobs so far

purplerainbows · 30/12/2018 18:46

@Erin4000 yeah I find a 3+ reassuring too. With my MMC it never went to 3+ but with my successful pregnancy it did so I will be testing until I get a 3+ with this one before I relax a bit.

Welcome @April88, sorry for your loss, pregnancy after a miscarriage is twice as difficult ☹️ I lost my first baby but then went on to have my daughter with no problems, fingers crossed for sticky little babies for us all xx
