September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

MinnieLou · 18/01/2019 17:59

Hi just an update:
Saw the doctor who didn't seem concerned about me bleeding but has sent off the referral for EPU.
She said to go there for 8am one day next week and they should have my form on the system (I will ring in advance)

I work in a school so now need to figure out how I can go without telling them why... 😶 x

Hi Everyone! I found out I am pregnant on New year's Eve. So nervous though as I don't really Feel pregnant and last time I was pregnant with my 2 year old, I was super nautious by this point. I am still breastfeeding however and that had become really painful so hoping that's a symptom!

boodles101 · 19/01/2019 12:12

Hi guys how is everyone?
Me and DH are full of cold today. I feel like my face could burst! We are actually staying in a hotel tonight with a posh dinner - Xmas present courtesy of my DM but we both just feel like crap! Still, a night away from DS and hopefully a lie in will make things better.
Also not sure if I'm feeling a bit queasy today or whether it is just the cold. I didn't have any sickness with DS so hoping it's the cold and I'm lucky enough to sick sickness again!

Megan2018 · 19/01/2019 12:22

@boodles101
Full of cold here too.
Feel absolutely normal still, slightly sore boobs but nothing else going on now. Apart from cold seem fine, 5+6 today. Maybe next week things will ramp up? I think I find the lack of symptoms worrying though.

MyBreadIsEggy · 19/01/2019 13:10

Morning sickness has hit me like a motherfucking bus Sad
I had HG with my DD so I really hope it doesn’t escalate into that again! With DS, I had some pretty gnarly morning sickness up until about 14 weeks but then it stopped, so hopefully I’ll be lucky again and it won’t last too long.
With two mental toddlers round my feet, I can’t really afford to be running upstairs to vom every five minutes Confused

Megan2018 · 19/01/2019 13:59

That sounds miserable @MyBreadIsEggy
How many weeks are you?

MyBreadIsEggy · 19/01/2019 14:54

Megan 6 weeks I think....this is around when the sickness kicked in with the last two as well.

LaVieEstBelle8 · 19/01/2019 15:14

Hi all! I'm 5 weeks now. I'm having a tugging sensation in my lower belly, and today something that felt a little like period pains. Does this all sound normal! I'm very nervous something is going to go wrong!

MinnieLou · 19/01/2019 15:36

@LaVieEstBelle8
Hiya,

I'm 5 weeks too!
From all the extreme reading I've been doing people say it can be normal but do get it checked out if you're worried..

I've been bleeding for the past week (lightly and mild pains here & there) went to the doctors yesterday and they've referred me to epu - just waiting to hear back for when to go! Very nervous but many people have had many different experiences.

I've learnt through reading up on here and everywhere else is to try to stay calm (easier said than done) monitor yourself for any changes and if you are really worried always best to check with your GP for a little reassurance.

Xx

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 19/01/2019 16:16

Morning all! I’m worried my DD (21 months) has slapped cheek - her cheeks have been red off and on for about a week and a half, although it could be teething as I felt in her mouth and she has the first of the last lot of molars coming in. Anyone had any experience of slapped cheek? Is it normal for it to come and go? I’ll be phoning the GP on Monday to get my bloods checked, but pretty nervous as I know it is linked to a greater chance of miscarriage if she does have it and gives it to me. Am 5 weeks today xx

BridgetJonesDaiquiri · 19/01/2019 16:16

And clearly it’s afternoon not morning. Post fail!

stroan · 19/01/2019 17:10

So sorry frillyfarmer, lots of love.

I feel absolutely awful, the nausea is really taking it out of me. It feels like everything makes me heave or retch, I can’t even step into the kitchen and basically spend all my time upstairs away from any food smells. I can’t lie down as that makes me gag so I’m trying to sleep sitting up. I can’t travel more than 5 minutes - even if I drive. I’m existing on crisps, toast and flat lemonade, but getting really dehydrated. And bread always makes me feel bloated and sore, so it’s a vicious circle.

I was so desperate to make sure this pregnancy didn’t affect DD and it is already. I’ve been upstairs all day and couldn’t even go to her swimming lesson this afternoon. She keeps coming up to give me cuddles and kisses, bless her. I’ve been crying all day because I miss her so much and I hate not being involved. And have no idea how I’ll even get to work this week (45 min drive).

KLane · 19/01/2019 17:29

How terrible @stroan ! Could you go to the GP this week for anti sickness medication? Hopefully you start feeling better soon!

stroan · 19/01/2019 17:31

Thanks @klane I have some anti-nausea meds which is definitely doing something because I can tell when it wears off. But I’m getting no relief at all so will go back - he said we can try other stuff if needed.

KLane · 19/01/2019 17:38

@stroan Ah fingers crossed you can find a medication that works better! It's so helpful to have a GP who empathises.

stroan · 19/01/2019 17:46

@klane it really does. I was prepared for a battle as a friend goes to the same practice and they refused to give her anything. I find the male doctors there so much more empathetic than the female ones who have had kids!
