September 2019 babies?

abi2790 · 27/12/2018 14:30

Do we have any September due dates yet?

This one came as a big shock for me. I had my coil out on 30th November and must have conceived pretty much straight away. Considering it took quite a long time to get DD, the BFP was a big shock!

This one will be my third!

datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer.php
This is worth looking at if you’re feeling anxious.

Difficult for drs to tell what will end in miscarriage and what will succeed. Epau can do bloods and scans which will aid diagnosis but can only confirm an ongoing pregnancy at the point rather than say it’s ok long term. Hope that makes sense.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time covering epau for work in the past.

mrss2018 · 17/01/2019 22:02

Thanks @MunchyMunchkin I like that!

VeeTea · 18/01/2019 06:18

@karigan195 The knee surgery was such a pain for TTC, wasn’t it? it was delayed once so really set us back about 5 months (and we’d also been trying for over 6months before that). So are you doing rehab stuff now too? I’m trying not to get too excited about possible pregnancy until a scan!

ButtonTum · 18/01/2019 07:53

Thanks @MunchyMunchkin for that. I used it in my last pregnancy. Although it didn't change the outcome and I was sadly one of the minorities it does help again. I think it's just knowing all the info isn't it

Fortheloveofscience · 18/01/2019 08:44

Morning everyone Smile.

Made it to 5 weeks this morning, but today’s stress is that I’ve not had any nausea and I’m now obsessing about it since reading that it’s linked to a higher rate of MC. I know that this isn’t rational, that it’s still super-early and I might be sick as a dog next week, but I can’t seem to turn the worry off. Bloody brain!

Getting more sure that I want to have a scan at 8 weeks, particularly if symptoms don’t get stronger - so far I’ve just got sore boobs and trapped wind Blush.

TwittleBee · 18/01/2019 08:50

Get yourself one booked in then Fortheloveofscience ! Will help you calm your nerves for a bit. I've booked an early scan in for 3 weeks time.

TwittleBee · 18/01/2019 08:56

Good luck for your scan today btw SparrowNest !

I've added a few of you in too Smile

Easterbuns1 · 18/01/2019 09:02

Morning all, just checking in. Hope everyone has a nice stress free day! I seem to have one day where nausea is awful and next I don't have any at all and I remember it being the same with my other healthy pregnancies so I'd not worry too much about symptoms coming and going.

@SparrowNest hope scan goes well

Megan2018 · 18/01/2019 09:29

Still no nausea here! 5+5 Although am struggling with teeth brushing as makes me retch (but I sometimes have that anyway in the morning).

Still not much to report symptoms wise but I do still have the cold and I never normally have them like this - I can't seem to shake it at all!

Have had some trapped wind and reflux, but again that is not uncommon.

Torn between panic that symptoms are pretty non existent and relief!

happydays00 · 18/01/2019 10:16

I made it to 6+1 with no nausea and it has hit hard now 😳 I had HG in my last pregnancy so I am resigned to the fact this one will be the same. Off to the doctors I go today to start my anti emetics. Sigh

Crashbumpthud · 18/01/2019 11:27

I had exactly the same as @happydays - nothing until 6 weeks then the queasiness hit!
Anyone got any strange food aversions? I’m finding I’ve completely gone off the food I usually love. Have replaced it all with cheese and carbs. Hmm

happydays00 · 18/01/2019 11:29

crashbump I literally cannot even look at raw chicken without retching. I usually always need a coffee (or 3) in the morning but for the past 3 days haven't been bothered at all.

I survived on a diet of beige food/carbs last time, so strange!!

Itsalwayssunny · 18/01/2019 11:38

Just checking in and off to catch up. Hope everyone is doing OK! I ended up in hospital on Wed because of the HG. It's been pretty bad over here and even scrolling on my phone hasn't been possible. I've got a combination of medication now which seem to be helping. Booking in appointment on 6th of Feb.

I had an early scan which put my dates back by quite alot so atm I'm somewhere between 6+3 by scan and 7+5 by lmp date. Hoping the little one will catch up. We saw a heartbeat at 5+3 which I thought was impossible so hoping it just was incorrect measuring by the sonographer!

Crashbumpthud · 18/01/2019 11:58

Wow! A heartbeat- amazing! Flowers for you sunny sorry that you’re so sick.

And happy raw and cooked chicken is also a massive no go for me....

Osney · 18/01/2019 13:28

Hello all,

Just checking in - been a bit crazy at work and not had time to catch up on everything. So had scan at EPAU last Saturday because of a bleed - saw a wee heartbeat. Got another scan this coming Monday to check all's well as there was a second dark patch she wasn't sure about (said was either a bleed or a second - presumably failed - pregnancy). Have had 2 other small bleed this week and pink spotting on/off. Total emotional wreck! Nausea so so much worse than with DS1. Fortunately though eating doesn't make it any worse, so able to have a healthy diet. Just soooo tired.

Will read thread properly this weekend and reply to people. My heartfelt love and sympathy to those who are avid a tough time. Give yourselves lots of love ladies...

X

Frillyfarmer · 18/01/2019 15:26

Afternoon ladies. I had a scan this morning and confirmed miscarrying at approx 6 weeks, had to check it wasn't ectopic due to my history. Still very strong + on their pregnancy test and still having morning sickness which the nurse said could last another week or so- Mother Nature is so fucking cruel.

Wishing you all the best and bowing out now xx

LaBelleSausage · 18/01/2019 15:27

Thanks @TwittleBee! I can’t for the life of me work out how to edit on my phone, even though I do have the google docs app, so will try and sneak onto that link in work on Monday.
I’m only 4+4 and not really feeling any symptoms, this time with DS I’d started having bad headaches and fainting spells which led to near constant ritz cracker eating as the salt lifted my blood pressure a bit, and meant by the end of my pregnancy I’d gained 5 stone! Can’t afford to do that this time around as I’m still a stone heavier than I’d like.

I am feeling very tired but I’m still breastfeeding a badly sleeping DS so that’s to be expected! We’ll just be sneaking into the two under two club by a couple of months.

Have booked an early scan for 9th Feb as I’m on a spa break with my mum 12th/13th Feb and I’d like to have seen a heartbeat before I tell her

LaBelleSausage · 18/01/2019 15:28

Cross over post frilly, I’m so very sorry Flowers

GemmaJen · 18/01/2019 15:34

@Frillyfarmer I'm so sorry to hear this Sad take care of yourself. Thinking of you x

April88 · 18/01/2019 15:38

Sorry to hear that Frilly Sad look after yourself x

TwittleBee · 18/01/2019 15:43

Oh Frillyfarmer I am so sorry Sad it is so cruel how long it can take for the hormone and symptoms to go. Take care Flowers

Megan2018 · 18/01/2019 15:48

@Frillyfarmer
That's so shit, so sorry. There's no words for it really - as you say Mother nature is cruel.

Taylou · 18/01/2019 15:52

Good morning!

Tentatively joining in. Had my BFP on Monday, and by my estimate I'll be due around the 23rd September.

I had a little spotting on Wednesday, but very very light and mostly brown, which I keep being reassured is normal. My first appointment & scan is in 10 days time, trying to not stress until then.

I'm in the US, but I used to hang around mn quite a bit, I like the community. This will be my first baby if all goes well. A bit of a happy surprise, I've had a lot of issues in recent times - didn't have a period for a year - finally had one and fell pregnant in that first cycle!

iano · 18/01/2019 15:59

@Frillyfarmer I'm so very sorry Thanks
