@ScotsBaby2 Ah ok thanks!

@PinkLady89x Ah is that what it is! Thanks! How did you find out what letter you was my only said Rhesus negative not the actual letter 🤔 xx

clairelee17 · 31/12/2018 14:36

@Ninunina I feel exactly the same and posted similar yesterday. The exhaustion is just chronic. Thank God I've been off work over Christmas because I wouldn't have been able to handle being like this at work. Dread going back on Wednesday too!

OctoberGirl91 · 31/12/2018 14:37

@marajade12 I had this in my last pregnancy it did unfortunately end in MC but this wasn't due to Hematoma. Mine was detected at 5 weeks and went at 6 weeks and then came back at 7+2, sadly lost baby at 7+4.

They usually get absorbed without problems or some people can bleed with them. Did they not give you much Information? Lady who scanned me was a bit frank and blunt 😒 didn't really like her and midwife was more upbeat about it xx

bubblegumunicorn · 31/12/2018 14:41

I get the flu jab every year anyway and the way I see it is I get sick all the time (I don't control my asthma properly!) and the short cold you sometimes get after the flu jab is nothing compared with having the flu! I think I had a mild form of flu last week and it passed in about a week instead of 3/4 if i didnt have it! Its a tough one but you have to think about how you would feel if you got the flu now! Also this years didn't make me sick I wasn't pregnant when I had it though.

milly2000 · 31/12/2018 14:42

Has anyone found that they've lost weight? I've just weighed myself and have found that I have.

avacadooo · 31/12/2018 14:47

I'm really struggling today, haven't even left bed but I've got to leave for work in 45 minutes with no idea how I'm going to cope with the drive never mind the shift.
What do I do?!
I'm on a sleepover shift cause I'm a carer and working right through until 8am on the 2nd!😫
But I can't get out of bed. I'm so screwed cause I can't phone in sick today

emma1224 · 31/12/2018 14:47

@milly2000
I've been really sick and nauseous and lost ALOT
Was told this can happen but should start to notice an increase in the second trimester x

EverythingNow · 31/12/2018 14:56

@milly2000 I've lost a couple of pounds - I need to! Just because I feel sick and can't face food.

PinkLady89x · 31/12/2018 15:00

@MrsH1990 I asked what letter I was. I think they just said I was rhesus negative and I said what letter. I'm sure they'll tell you if you ask 😊

bubblegumunicorn · 31/12/2018 15:01

@milly2000 Yes I have but I needed too anyway so I'm thinking its better for us both that I loose a bit! but I lost a stone in the first 2 weeks of nausea which is pretty scary to me! I still cant eat much which I dont think is a good thing I keep reading that by week 9 my jeans should be getting tight but they are hanging off me!

MrsH1990 · 31/12/2018 15:16

@PinkLady89x Thank you very much xxx will do xxx

milly2000 · 31/12/2018 16:01

Yeah my appetite has halved with feeling so awful. My jeans are tight already though and I'm not sure it's bloat. I see the midwife in a couple days so I'm sure she'll tell me what's what. Glad I'm not the only one though!

Blueberry2018 · 31/12/2018 17:03

@milly2000 My jeans are tight too, i just assume i majorly bloated from progesterone in system. X

xLauraa · 31/12/2018 17:14

I'm SO poorly! This is my second bit of cold I've had since finding out I was pregnant 😭 this along with severe nausea is just not great.
I'm using olbas oil and drinking plenty of fluids - that's the only advice I've been given. Does anyone else have any ideas!?

Blueberry2018 · 31/12/2018 18:20

@xLauraa I feel your pain, currently fighting a cold too. My ribs hurt today from coughing too! For nausea, sugar barley sweets are really good, they've kept mine at bay last few days. Lucazade sport (the flat one) is ok as no caffeine, doc said was safe to drink to replenish electrolytes and salts in body.

Kcjoe · 31/12/2018 18:25

@xLauraa @Blueberry2018 I had the horrid cold the last few days. It appears to have gone almost today! I bought the Calpol saline nasal spray. It worked wonders for me. I had 2 nights of not being able to breathe and then gave in and got the spray. Hope you're better soon x

Kcjoe · 31/12/2018 18:26

Luckily i had the flu jab in October. I had it because of getting asthma in the summer x

Jelliestogether · 31/12/2018 18:46

I've also lost weight, almost 2kg since finding out although this is due to lack of appetite rather than nausea or sickness. Luckily I haven't had either of those, however my appetite is coming back very slowly but still can't actually eat much.

Haven't had my flu jab yet either but definitely will be asking the midwife about it. I've had a cold the past 4 days and it's totally wiped me out! Definitely out the other side now. Can't wait to see the midwife and a scan in the new year, will definitely make it all feel more real! Although lots of my trousers are now very tight, definitely all bloat and think my hips have got a bit wider.

milly2000 · 31/12/2018 18:54

I'm going to buy myself some leggings I think. The only thing is I return to work Wednesdays and never wear leggings think I might get some.

@xLauraa I brought some peppermint oil because the smell helps me feel better.

avacadooo · 31/12/2018 21:09

So I struggled and got ready for work and did the hour drive, got to work super proud that I hadn't called in sick to be told I looked like shit and now I'm sat here about in tears thinking about it, I feel shit about myself already but somebody saying it maliciously to drag me down has really broken me.
And I'm texting dh about how I want to quit my job because it's been really awful and he's just being a bit of a dick about it, telling me to do whatever.
I'm sorry I just needed to offload and I don't have anybody to do that to right now.

Rachellev · 31/12/2018 21:12

Feeling very bloated and super constipated any advice

xLauraa · 31/12/2018 21:36

@Blueberry2018 thank you I'll try lucozade! I've not had much other than water really and I do like those lucozade sports! Get well soon 💜

@Kcjoe brill I'll have a look for that 😊 I also had mine in October coz I have asthma! I think I've avoided the flu (that my DP has had for the past 4 weeks) thank goodness!

@milly2000 ah yeah forgot about peppermint oil, they say brushing your teeth often can help so that makes sense 🤷🏼‍♀️

Blueberry2018 · 31/12/2018 21:37

@avacadooo Im so sorry you're going through this right now. You really don't need any stress at the moment. Try talking to dh face to face, sometimes things get misconstrued through text. Work can go swivel- just remember its just a job. Some people in this world need to put others down to make themselves feel better! Rise above it girl, you're worth a million of them 😊 xxxxx

UnicornDust17 · 31/12/2018 21:40

@Rachellev I'm dosing up on lactulose for the constipation Blush

UnicornDust17 · 31/12/2018 21:41

Sorry @avacadooo try not to take it to heart. What time do you finish?
