Thanks for asking @Trying2bemum I'm really lucky because my GP is amazing. She's really supportive and was incredibly helpful during our infertility tests. If it wasn't for her, and our incredible surgeon, we would not have had the opportunity to be parents.
The blood, as suspected, is just because of the frequent sickness. I said that my throat just feels so unclean, even though I practise good oral health, she said it's because of the acid from the sickness and gave me a prescription mouthwash. She also asked if I had reconsidered the antiemetics.
I'm 11 weeks now, so if the sickness does end towards the end of the first trimester, then there is no point messing around with them as long as I can stay hydrated. I've already been sick for six weeks, so another couple won't hurt! My mum and sister were sick all the way through their pregnancies, and my sister ended up hospitalised on more than one occasion, so I have said that if I'm still ill at 13/14 weeks then I'll try the antiemetics.
I just want to get to the scan now. I want to be able to be excited. My husband is reading pregnancy and parenting books, planning the house renovations and just really getting into it. He's mega supportive and I just want to be able to be excited with him. He bought a personalised maternity t-shirt, which was incredibly sweet.
I am so, so reluctant to complain about being sick though because we worked so hard to get here.
