I’m back on fibre drinks. Sigh. They helped with the feeling of blocking up last time.

I’m determined to wear my normal clothes for as long as possible. I had a thought a few weeks ago (before I found out) I’d do a no clothes spend 2019. Probably going to have to buy some clothes now...! Haha.

Oh well.

Hope everyone has a lovely day x I’m off riding later. Getting outside should help me feel a bit more normal

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 22/12/2018 09:13

Good morning ladies.
I've got my 12 week scan on the 31st. Though I had a private scan a few days ago which dates me as 12 weeks today (I thought i would be 12 weeks on Boxing Day)
Very excited for the actual 12 week scan to see if they agree with the dates.
Is anyone on here planning on having the harmony test done? Has anyone had one previously? It's something we are keen to have due to family history and I'm wondering what the results are to be expected?

Laburna · 22/12/2018 09:25

I've got mine today @fortheloveofdoughnuts

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 22/12/2018 09:41

@Laburna I hope it all goes well today. When do you get the results?

Laburna · 22/12/2018 09:46

They've said there will be a bit of a delay because of Christmas, but I'll double check for you :) usually about 10-14 working days

AnnaBegins · 22/12/2018 09:51

Fingers crossed Laburna for good results. I now have a scan date, 14th Jan which I think is quite good given I was originally told there weren't any MW appts until 15th Grin

AnnaBegins · 22/12/2018 09:53

Can't believe the boss of the PP who told their manager Shock my boss is normally rubbish at keeping secrets but to be fair to him he's kept this one! I'm pretty impressed at him. Shame I get a new boss in jan.

TwinkleDay · 22/12/2018 10:15

@laburna ah thanks yes I read that somewhere a while ago, it’s mad isn’t it just based on highest earner ... well it will be a close one. OH does a lot of overtime so see how it works out. But £80 a month would still help.

Capybaras · 22/12/2018 10:34

Had my scan and all is looking good with baby! Was amazing to see the heartbeat and baby was so wriggly. Such a relief to know all is well and I'm actually pregnant Wink

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 10:51

Seeing all your good news from scans scares me more I'm convinced it's another MMC! :( Roll on 1pm Monday!

BirthdayKake · 22/12/2018 11:13

Congrats on all the successful scans! I seriously feel like cancelling mine; can't imagine being well enough in 11 days to be able to go Confused

TwinkleDay · 22/12/2018 11:28

@capybaras yay congratulations amazing isn’t it, I layed there wiping the happy tears away 😍

Laburna · 22/12/2018 11:37

@fortheloveofdoughnuts consultant thinks with the two days off for Christmas, my bloods will be back a week on Monday.

cravingmilkshake · 22/12/2018 11:50

9 weeks and 2 days today. Finally got my appointment (booking in) for the 3rd January!

Hopefully get a scan shortly after 😃

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 13:04

@cravingmilkshake I thought your booking in had to be by 10w? I obviously could be wrong as I don't really have much idea. Lol

BirthdayKake · 22/12/2018 13:06

Booking in doesn't have a time limit as such. Obviously some people don't find out they're pregnant until later on. But it is best to do it in the first twelve weeks!

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 13:24

Ah okay thanks for that @BirthdayKake mine were quite strict on before 10w as I was struggling with the day they offered but there was no flex. :)

Just realised I never heard back after my blood tests so assume all was good. :D

BirthdayKake · 22/12/2018 13:43

Michelle here, they give the blood test results are given after the first scan :)

BirthdayKake · 22/12/2018 13:44

Eww. Excuse that appalling sentenceShock

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 14:03

See I know nothing, lol! I'd probably know more if I got out of my anxiety bubble and believed everything was okay. I cant believe how bad I've been I preach to children all the time about anxiety and how it doesn't help anything need to take a leaf out of my own book.

@BirthdayKake it's fine it's Saturday and nearly Christmas. Lol

BirthdayKake · 22/12/2018 14:18

Aww I totally get that Michelle. I have quite bad anxiety. Terrified that this sickness won't go away! I haven't left the house for over three weeks now ugh

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/12/2018 14:29

Hi everyone !
Lovely news on all the scans ! @onestep2 that's crap they rushed yours ! Did they take all the measurements etc they're supposed to ?!

We took our girls to see Santa yesterday and I had a word before we went in, Santa told them theres a baby in mummy's tummy! Wee one obviously doesn't have a clue but the 6 year old is over the moon :) she wants another sister and wants to call her Rosie haha. Really excited now, were having an early Christmas dinner/get together at my parents tomorrow with all my siblings so going to tell them all then ! So happy to finally be able to talk to someone other than OH 😂😂 think hes bored of listening to me now haha

ememem84 · 22/12/2018 14:42

Riding was what I needed to get me out of my funk. A dry warm (13 degrees) crisp winters day here. A walk round the lanes followed by a canter in the school and a bit of careful jumping sorted me right out.

Re bloods I was told that if there’s anything wrong/unusual etc they’d tell me within 3 days.

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 14:53

I just did a clear blue and it still said 3+ I thought it'd reassure me but it hasn't. I dropped from 9st to 8st at 7 - 9w and I'm still only like 8st 3! Arrgh roll on Monday driving myself insane if only I could hibernate until then!

Michelle0507 · 22/12/2018 14:54

I love that Santa told your children how lovely. :)
I dream of having a Christmas with children. Although I imagine it's more stressful than it looks. Lol!
