Hi all, little baby Oliver was born at 10:04am weighing 8.1 pounds. He is beyond perfect and I’m actually feeling fantastic! XX

Congratulations! I'm glad everything went well and I really like the name.

On another note;I went t the midwife and I'm measuring three weeks behind so I'm being referred for a growth scan.
Given that my son was 9lbs, this is all new to me..
Can anyone shed some light on it? She didn't answer my question when I asked what it could indicate!

I take it little Oliver has you awake.
My LO has me awake and he’s not even here yet. (My hips are excruciating so spending my second night on the recliner)

@smorgasborgen can’t say I’ve experienced it myself. But I’ve been told countless of times not to look too much Into it. Measuring the belly can be so inaccurate.
I’m sure your growth scan will reveal all is ok. It’s good that they are checking but my measurements have been all over the place. Different people (midwives and hospital staff) have all measured my belly completely differently.
Last week I went from one measuring me at 35 weeks to the next measuring me at 34 weeks a week later.

Well ladies. He's here!! 2 weeks early. Birth couldn't have gone less to plan. But so in love and besotted!!! Can't believe I got my 🌈 7lb9 born 4th December!

Bloody hell cluster feeding is a killer.

Matilda spent at least 20 minutes out of every half hour from 11.30 last night to 11.30 this morning on the boob.

She is now totally flaked out on me on the sofa, just in a nappy, so we're snuggled under a blanket and going nowhere...
