I know how you feel! Can't do doc martens up! Can't bend. And I seem to double in size every day!

My docs are the only thing I don't struggle with... only because they have the little pulley tag on the back haha

Report
smorgasborgen · 02/12/2018 22:18

I need a pully tag! The worse thing is, they constantly undo themselves!
I'm somewhere in between being in denial and having the fear. Two children... Eak!
Plus I need t stop eating cheese and oatcakes all of the time!

Nearing the finish line everyone! It's my due date tomorrow and I never pictured getting to it so feeling pretty fed up and had enough of being pregnant!

I've taught my toddler how to undo my shoes so that I don't have to bend down... She can be very useful at times lol

I’m having quite a lot of soreness in my bump at the moment. Does anyone else have this? I’m guessing it’s just overstretched muscles and skin because it’s when I’m bending down, rolling over or stretching. I’m so uncomfortable! It takes me about 5 mins to roll over in bed and I had to get my husband to put my socks on yesterday 🙈 so ready for this baby to get out now! All the Braxton Hicks I had yesterday tailed off in the evening and nothing this morning.

Olga yesss I'm so uncomfortable!
Feels like I'm pulling all my muscles at the same time even doing just the slightest movement, I've woke up feeling really sick this morning too, my appetite has just vanished I'm going to force myself to have a sweet cup of tea and a hobnob... but that's pushing it, also my hands & feet are really swollen this morning too 🙄

Yes! @0lgaDaPolga every time I change position I get bump pain. Nothing else to suggest baby is keen to make an entrance though... I'm still admiring you for braving soft play!

@Cakelaur I was wondering how you were getting on! How's things?

@balalalala that's a very good idea!
Train them young haha!

Sore bump here too! Feels almost like bruising.

Report
balalalala · 03/12/2018 10:32

Yes, sore bump and slow painful turning over here too! Official due date today and... Nothing. Sex hasn't done anything either so feels like a lot of effort!

@kaytees 😂 haha I say I went to soft play when in reality I was sat at a table with a hot chocolate and a cookie while my husband raced around after the maniac toddler so it was pretty easy for me. Although last week we went and I took my little one in by myself while my husband was parking the car, the toddler immediately raced up a load of stairs to another level and I had to go after him (he’s only 18 months) I had visions of myself getting stuck up there and giving birth in a soft play 😂

@Cakelaur how are you doing? I bet you can’t believe you’ve made it this far with your placenta previa. Have you had any more scans to see if it’s moved or are they booking you in for a c-section.

Well I’m back at the hospital again for more anti-d coz of these little bleeds/spotting episodes. It’s driving me nuts now.
Though I’m not sure whether it means this baby is coming early. Ive definitely not lost my mucus plug but could I be having a ‘bloody show’ or whatever it is they call it. I had more this morning but it was definitely more noticeable.
My bump is constantly tightening and is very sore, like how your all describing. And I keep getting this stabbing pain in my cervix. And like a stinging. The only way I can describe it is it’s like a cystitis feeling but on my cervix x

This is torture! Having Braxton Hicks contractions every few minutes day and night. Can't stand it! Not painful but really unpleasant and uncomfortable. Just want to cry all the time as I'm stuck in the house but also can't rest properly either.

C section booked for Wednesday and I am absolutely pooping myself, has anybody had one before?

Report
balalalala · 04/12/2018 08:24

@Athers666 same here! Feels so unfair! I thought I possibly had my show yesterday but if it was it was nowhere near as obvious as with my dd. Also, with her I got contractions immediately and had her within the day. This time, nada. I'm planning a hilly dog walk and pub lunch for today now I'm officially overdue.

I am finding getting out of the house even for half an hour each day is really helping my state of mind. Due date today and absolutely NADA x

Omg how fast have these due dates crept up ladies!
I've still got 2 looooong weeks to go, feels like a lifetime!
I just wanna meet my little man now and kiss all his little bean toes and fluff his hair
I'm sure he's been doing star jumps lately tho he just doesn't keep still 😂

Hi everyone, I've not been on here for months! But have been reading the posts when I get a chance.

@ameliaclem my csection is booked for Friday. Also pooping myself but excited at the same time! Let us know how it all goes. I'm going with the try not to think about it until it's literally about to happen approach! Hope you can get some rest today and sleep tonight!x

Matilda and I will be mostly recovering from an evening at the local ED last night - she was sleepy and not feeding and then had a rash appear which scared us to death.

We were thoroughly checked out, her blood sugar was slightly on the low side so she had a formula top up and really perked up. No infection so doctors think she was just hangry! (She is increasingly proving she's related to us!)

My milk came in overnight and she is LOVING IT! We are currently milk drunk 😍 and mummy actually managed 2.5 hours sleep in one chunk this morning.

Hope everyone still waiting has lovely smooth labours and births.

@0lgaDaPolga I dunno, soft play is ideal birthing conditions... lots of cushions and wipe clean surfaces 😂

Come on babies of ladies who have passed their due date, it's time!

Glad she's ok @emwithme
how long did it take for your milk to come in? I'm worrying about those days before it comes in already! It never really came in with my son as I only breast fed him twice on day one and then he was tube fed. I haven't leaked much colostrum this time either :/ can you tell I have too much time sitting about these last few days?!?

Report
emwithme · 04/12/2018 18:30

It was 5.5 days @MrsTeaPlease . I had been informed it could be a bit delayed because of the forceps delivery and my age (I'm 41). I also didn't leak colostrum at all and have had minimal engorgement so far but as soon as the milk appeared she started taking it!

Today we have had seven dirty nappies, two wees while being changed and one nappy that literally lasted 30 seconds...I hadn't even done the second tab up before she filled it!

@emwithme how scary for you. Glad she’s ok and that your milk has finally come in. She sounds like a little dream.

@Ameliaclem good luck for tomorrow darling. You will do great and I’m sure everything will go smoothly. Keep us updated. Will be thinking of you and checking up on you.

It’s great to hear from all of you. It’s lovely to catch up before we all meet our little ones. X
