@rookangaroo I honestly don't think anyone told her. Coz of all ppl that know no1 likes her or trusts her. 😂😂 I think she may just suspect as I've not been out partying or on snap chat ad much (I'm notorious for a party) and she was always asking when we were going to start trying lol

Oh av absolutly no doubt her nose will be knocked out of joint when she finds out.... not one fuck given. Lol

As for her comments. Honestly the whole family is used to it. You just grit your teeth and smile. It's not worth the drama she causes with DB and the family.

wombatron · 09/12/2018 10:37

One thing I've noticed vixy is after a few, drunk people rarely notice sober people. If you can get through the first hour without much difficulty then you'll be fine. I wouldn't go too elaborate as it's the first thing everyone thinks when someone says antibiotics and illness = no drinking. I'd go more along the lines of a dental issue if you do though - chest infections are hard to fake as you'd need to cough and wheeze

StargazyDrifter · 09/12/2018 10:44

Onestep2 that's so brilliant! Well done you and DSis. The comments are awful, what a piece of work.

vixy antibiotics seems to be a giveaway these days, though did work on my MIL recently. DH and I said we're on a round of strong antibiotics as a precaution for an infection we might have caught travelling in summer (the truth is only DH was prescribed them). Chest infection will be tricky. Recovering from migraine and dental sounds better to me.

DianaBlythe · 09/12/2018 10:54

How is “have you put on weight?” ever an appropriate question?? Excellent work from you and your sister! Glad the desired result was achieved and off she fucked!

Feel a bit guilty but I have rather enjoyed this tale!

ReginaPhalange89 · 09/12/2018 11:06

Haha had a good chuckle reading the comments this morning. We all know a Claire don't we ! 🙈 Can't believe she said that about putting on weight. She was obviously fishing for you to say oh it's baby bump! But you'd not even have one at this point. Glad she fucked off lol

I'm struggling today . I'll be 7 weeks tomorrow and so far haven't much symptoms but I am so SO tired. And to help, my youngest has been getting up super early (or sometimes in the night for an hour or two!) . I feel like I could sleep for a week! Praying she has a nap at some point so I can have one too lol

blueeyedviking · 09/12/2018 11:18

@onestep Wow Clare sounds like a right b , well done for keeping your calm and class! Your story did make me giggle tho.

@vixy I've got a kidney infection at the moment so for me the antibiotics line has worked on that one...

@makeawish I've got lots if acne today. And I never get it. So annoying and doesn't go away.

I'M super annoyed with DH. He was out all day yesterday and came home smashed. Woke me up and proceed to snore and push me out of bed. He knew we had a bit day today and I had to get up early to do some work. Well him and his sickness kept me up from 5.30am, made me go and fetch stuff for his headache and got the cat all excited because he thought he was getting food. I had no choice to sleep more as only had 5 hours sleep and now I won't have time to do the fun stuff. Argh.

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 11:42

Omg al this Talk of claire the witch and I have just seen her in the car park, she clearly clocked me and did the old fish something out of the handbag for 2 mins whilst I drove off laughing to myself ‘off you fuck Claire 😂😂 ‘

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 11:55

Then she went out to Lidl too... oh dear, how funny 😂

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 11:58

Haha, all the witches of the world, off you all fuck!
Got out scan at 2pm today. Scared 😐

DrEv · 09/12/2018 12:02

Another one leaving. Meant to be 8+3 though scan showed gestational sac but no heartbeat. So either only 6 weeks pregnant (unlikely as positive pregnancy test would have been 4 days after conception) or missed miscarriage. I thought it didn’t feel right. Will be giving my children lots of cuddles today. Good luck to everyone x

TwinkleDay · 09/12/2018 12:05

@MakeAWhish thinking of you for later.

@DrEv oh no my thoughts are with you, take care and have a merry Xmas xxx

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 12:07

@DrEv I'm so sorry 😥 Squeeze your babies tight. Lots of love to you xx

BirthdayKake · 09/12/2018 12:18

So sorry DrEv xx

ReginaPhalange89 · 09/12/2018 12:19

Oh I'm so sorry @DrEv :(

Good luck @makeawhish! I'm getting really impatient I think we might book a scan for the end of next week when I'll be 8.5 weeks.

Has anyone thought about what they're going to wear Christmas day yet ? I know it doesn't matter really but I can't find anything 🙈 it's too early to buy maternity dresses but all the nice stuff I've seen would be so unflattering on the bloat haha.

Also anyone ahh recommendations for Black maternity jeans ? My last ones were from George so ordered some and they were way too baggy 🙈

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 12:20

@ReginaPhalange89 apparently new loom Emilie jeans are the best - I bought some in preparation but they're way too big at the moment xx

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 12:21

New look!

BirthdayKake · 09/12/2018 12:23

I've got maternity stuff from eBay tbh. I'm only 5ft so it's fucking hard to find things that fit!

ReginaPhalange89 · 09/12/2018 12:30

I think I'll try the new look ones, I'll have a look thanks ! I prefer over the bump ones . I have bought second hand h&m jeans on eBay and they're amazing ! But second hand black ones always look very faded. Annoying because I want them to wear Xmas but I know I'll get vouchers and things for Christmas gifts so it'd make sense to wait 🙈

Laburna · 09/12/2018 14:09

@ReginaPhalange89 at this stage you'd be best off with under-bump or insert panel jeans. I've got a few pairs off eBay and they fit much better than normal jeans, because they have a more elasticated waist. I've also brought some skinny jeans from gap (in the sale and I was desperate as I couldn't find any under-bump size 8 jeans that needed less than 4 weeks delivery!) I love gap jeans, but their sizing is odd, the 'demi-panel' ones were too big around the calves in an 8 but the 'insert panel' ones fitted great.

I really liked my Red Herring jeans in my last pregnancy, but again nothing in my size this time 😩

Laburna · 09/12/2018 14:11

Ack, sorry, just saw your message about preferring over the bump ones! Next do really good 'black' jeans. Not had any in the maternity range, but I had some from their normal ones and 3 years later they're still black!

ReginaPhalange89 · 09/12/2018 14:39

Ooh thanks @laburna I'll check out next. It's somewhere i never shop for myself ! Don't think I've ever had next Jeans

MakeAWhish · 09/12/2018 15:01

All good at the scan! Measuring 6 weeks not 7, but with my long cycles that's not a surprise. Strong, regular heartbeat, which is the main thing! Phew!

wombatron · 09/12/2018 15:15

That's excellent news Make!

They put me back 3 days but they also said I may well go back and forwards with it!

RooKangaroo · 09/12/2018 15:16

Great news, @MakeAWhish! x

FuzzyPixel · 09/12/2018 15:42

@onestep2 pleased all went well with Claire! She sounds like the prefect recipient for the mn classic question of 'Did you mean to be so rude?'

Lovely news @MakeAWhish. Seeing that flickering heartbeat is amazing.

I'm a little grumpy today, nausea is terrible and I'm exhausted. I know it's a great sign of what is happening, and I am so grateful to be here (especially after the infertility battle too), but I was sick within ten minutes of getting out of bed. I haven't really left our den room today!
