That's a good idea, write everything down that you want to ask and then you won't miss anything.
Yes they definately started early in theatre DS was born by 930am.
The older 2 are very excited Dd has already bought a tiny baby grow for baby. I think they will be very helpfulSmile .

fee1234 · 20/12/2018 14:07

@stellarfox they said 98% boy so turns out they were right.

@coastergirl so sorry to hear 😞 xxx

NatalieBee · 20/12/2018 14:25

HI everyone, Just nipping back in! Sorry I've been MIA I just needed some time to get over all my worry, hearing about bleeding and things with recurrent miscarrige can sometimes make you feel uncomfortable worry when your in the early stages so I took some time to get further on then come back! I've had a gender scan and were having a BOY 😍 so feel much more confident having seen the baby again. I already have a little girl so I'm amazed I'm having a boy 😍 hopefully everyone hasn't left her and went to Facebook already. Going to have a read back and catch up x

I withdrew my previous post as it was related to my screening results which are considered low risk (relieved!) I had no idea what the numbers meant and asked a few questions. After a bit of Googling I found the answers and I didn't want to come across as being silly for being concerned about my results! (Just so you know why I withdrew it!) X

Just a thought as we are near the end of this thread and I think near the end of 12 weeks scans - do we have an updated list? Thought we could pop it at the top of the next thread Smile.

Lovely seeing all these successful scans! Congrats on all the gender reveals as well - mine is Saturday eeeek!

Reastie · 20/12/2018 16:04

Good idea made, we can get it updated now ready for the start of the next thread.

Glad you’re ok Natalie

fee1234 · 20/12/2018 20:06

So last night (we are still in NYC) my boyfriend asked me to marry him!!!

So excited... on cloud 9 and can't stop staring at the ring! Makes it even more special that we found out we are having a boy on the same day.

Texted family members and they were excited too but some were like yes well about time with the baby on the way etc.

Reastie I had an elective section last year and I could have breakfast at 5am and had to arrive at the hospital for midday. I could also have a sugary drink at 12ish. Unfortunately I didn’t get a room when I arrived as there weren’t any spare at the time so it was waiting in a waiting room. They told me where I was in the queue when I arrived but I think an emergency got bumped up the list so I ended up going down at about 4 ish or so. I was the last one of the day so I guess that’s worst case scenario. There was also some people that had to get there for 6am or so and couldn’t eat since 10pm ish the night before; but would have had their sections before midday. Sorry for the rambling! Hope that helps! X

toasterstrudle · 20/12/2018 20:55

Congratulations @fee1234 !!! How exciting! What a gorgeous ring xx

toasterstrudle · 20/12/2018 20:57

I'm not finding out sex this time - found out with DS and loved knowing but this time I'd like to experience not knowing!

Torsz · 20/12/2018 21:05

Has anyone experienced the second trimester burst of energy yet? I'm eagerly awaiting mine - just got back from a day in London doing Christmassy things with my mum (19,000 steps!) and I'm absolutely exhausted. Had to keep taking breaks just to stop my back hurting 😂

Bigonesmallone3 · 20/12/2018 21:08

@Torsz
I'm sitting here tapping my fingers in anticipation of that!

WeeBean · 20/12/2018 21:41

Massive congratulations @fee1234, as if New York at Christmas isn't special enough, finding out the gender AND an engagement!!

No burst of energy here, still waiting for the first trimester boking and nausea to stop (I'm missing an Ash gig tonight as a result, gutted!)

My EDD is June 21st (first baby) but I've no idea how to add to a list (only have my phone).

Kescilly · 20/12/2018 23:41

Wow, congrats @fee1234! How exciting!!!

Napssavelives · 21/12/2018 04:59

Congrats! Absolutely gorgeous ring!

coastergirl · 21/12/2018 07:09

Congratulations @fee1234

Thanks for all your kind thoughts yesterday, ladies. Very much appreciated.

I have my scan at 10am. I'm so nervous. Saw a heartbeat at 7 weeks, but I'm really worried there will be something wrong. I don't remember feeling like this last time!

On a much lighter note, I saw this on Facebook and it made me laugh. Thought those of you who also have toddlers like me, might like it.

Reastie · 21/12/2018 07:19

Thank you Kim.

Fee congrats on both counts, a boy and an engagement, what a brilliant time in New York!

Torz in fairness non pg I’d be exhausted after 19000 steps in a day!

Coaster good luck for the scan, I’m sure all will be fine and you’ll feel so much better for seeing things looking good, just the boost for Christmas.

Weebean thank you for the lovely things you said on the HG thread, I’m sorry you missed your concert last night. I missed a concert a couple of weeks ago I’d been looking forward to for months and it really got me down (especially when friends were posting pictures etc).

It’s my birthday today, it’s the first year I e felt so rough I’m not even bothered, it’s like a normal day (I’m usually very festive). Next year I’ll be making up for this birthday and Christmas big style.

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 21/12/2018 07:59

NEVER a truer word spoken in jest @coastergirl

JBCG · 21/12/2018 08:10

Congratulations @fee1234!!

All went well with my scan yesterday, they pushed me back a day so now due 28th June.

stellarfox · 21/12/2018 08:45

Congratulations @fee1234 what great news and a beautiful ring! We were in NYC in October. Hope you’re having an amazing time!

@coastergirl I was just as anxious but after you’ve seen the baby/heartbeat once it really is such low chances there would be something wrong now.

Thanks for the advice on sleeping positions by the way. I ended up sleeping on my back a bit last night. My partner is getting me a pregnancy pillow for Christmas so I’ll try more side sleeping then!

KoalasAteMyHomework · 21/12/2018 08:47

Haha loved that quote @coastergirl. Try not to worry too much and hope the scan goes well!
Happy birthday Reastie!! My DH has his birthday today too, but never does much to celebrate as everyone is busy and broke from Christmas shopping. Hope you have a good day regardless.
Great pic JBCG and glad the scan went well Smile
