Told MIL about baby today, she didn’t seem that excited/interested. Not sure if it’s a third baby therefor less interested thing or they disapprove of us having more than the standard 2. In other news we’ve decide on a car and are going to go for the touran

Sorry about the underwhelming reaction @Napssavelives. People can be weird. Hopefully when it sinks in she'll realise she was a bit off and be more excited.

Can I ask why you went for the Touren? We're looking at that one too.

Felt lighter to drive than the smax , visability was better. Didn’t feel as big as the smax

Maybe if she stays underwhelmed she’ll leave me and baby in peace ! I guess it’s just a bit Eugh because I don’t see my parents as they are abusive arseholes and it’s times like this that I wish I had a mum who could be excited with me and supportive. Can’t do a lot about it though, very lucky with my own little family

We're thinking about taking shared parental leave for 3 months together - anyone else thinking about this option? Or has anyone done it with a previous pregnancy??

Sorry forgot the username of the person who's a teacher - ex-teacher here - is that because you get essentially 9 month's pay across 12 months? I didn't think I was paid for holidays anyway when I was teaching.

Scan went well this evening, so happy!

They said to just stop worrying about the bleed as everything looks really good, and they aren’t concerned at all.

Baby was very active, so took ages to get to the right position to do the measurements. So lovely to see it jumping and spinning around on the screen though. I think this baby is going to keep me on my toes 😂

DH aunt is our midwife so we got to take away 9 different photos for nothing. Baby’s first photo shoot!

Been suffering with o2 all day so had no data to check this. Lovely scan pics and hope everyone is keeping well!

Congrats on lovely scans - too tired and zonked on adrenaline come down after going to first scan today, and....

We are expecting TWINS, dating 13+3 EDD 10th June (my LMP calc is 12+4) - completely shocked and we are excited and terrified. will upload pic tomo once better light. Eeeeeek. we have had an afternoon on video chat as all my family are in 3 different countries.

It has. Also trying to keep my blood pressure at bay with the meds. Will be able to give update next week after the scan
