June 2019 - The Early Birds

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

Nice to hear everyone's predicted due date, mine is the 6th June! (Going by ovulation not last period) 😊

Sorry to hear a few of you are feeling cramps and spotting, I've read it is normal because of your body making room and everything, but I agree defo see your gp if you're worried.

To be honest I'm still really scared that something will go wrong, I'm going to try and book in at the doctors tomorrow but I don't really think I will feel safe untill I've seen something on a scan

Kescilly · 27/09/2018 19:58

We’re out of the country right now so I can’t do much anyway. I’m booked to see the GP at the end of my fifth week, so I think that’ll have to do.

I think I’m going to be nervous for a while. I never thought I’d see a BFP so it still seems unreal to me.

rollerskaterdata · 27/09/2018 20:16

@RanchoRelaxo you're right, cramping is totally normal the vast majority of the time, I had it with DS and was absolutely fine. Always best to get checked though just in case, more likely than not you'll get the reassurance you need that everything is fine which at this stage we all need!!

Littlemissamy · 27/09/2018 20:32

@BLM18 I’m only getting an early scan due to a history of losses and my living son was born early and poorly so I’m high risk and monitored heavily. I’d rather wait to see the baby than the painful history to be honest!

BLM18 · 27/09/2018 20:52

@Beautifulblue that’s the same date! Based on my last period anyway!

fee1234 · 27/09/2018 21:04

@BLM18 @Beautifulblue I'm also June 3rd Smile

spottypyjamas · 27/09/2018 21:27

Makes it sound real when due dates are mentioned!!! I'm 11th June!

Will anyone else buy clear blue pregnancy tests with the week indicators to see if it shows 2-3 then 3+? I don't know if I'd cause myself more worry but it's the only way to get any sort of reassurance at this early stage!

pollykins151 · 27/09/2018 21:35

Hi all!!! Just got + tonight on a clear blue digital saying 2-3 weeks. Have estimated due date around 10th June. This will be 2nd have got dd who just turned 1 last week. Feel so weirdly nervous 😳 hope everyone is well x

Beautifulblue · 27/09/2018 21:48

@spottypyjamas yes I confirmed with a digi after getting 2 +s on the cheapies. Have saved the other one to test next week to see if it's gone up.

@pollykins I have a daughter who just recently turned 1 as well (2 months ago) I'm also nervous! I think I know how hard it all is now & with an almost 2 yo in tow we're certainly going to have our work cut out aren't we?! Actually now I say it like that... I'm bloody nervous!!

@spottypyjamas I did a digital test after getting a faint line just to see the words but I'm not doing any more, I don't wanna stress after reading threads of where they haven't dated correctly. I've got one frer left to use in the morning and then a bunch of internet cheapys if I feel the urge after that!

Hi @pollykins151! Congratulations 😁

pollykins151 · 27/09/2018 21:53

@spottypyjamas yes definitely going to have our work cut out. And yes I am thinking it's hard work at the minute where do you fit in time for another tiny human?! Haha obviously we will all be fine but.......

rollerskaterdata · 27/09/2018 22:07

@spottypyjamas like @RanchoRelaxo I took the digital test that just said 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant'. I knew I would obsess about the weeks indicator so never took one and don't plan to either! I'll just get myself all worked up I know it x

spottypyjamas · 27/09/2018 22:21

@ranchorelaxo yes I will also have a batch of ics arriving. Ordered before I got my bfp so will of course have to use them to avoid them going to waste, ha! Not that they really tell me anything I don't know now!

@beautifulblue fingers crossed the digi confirms all is going to plan next week for you

@rollerskaterdata yes I'm defo one to obsess so maybe I should save the pennies and stay clear!

Is this anyone's 3rd child?
No one knows we were considering a third as we were not going to try indefinitely so assumed it wouldn't happen. I think there may be a few surprised faces . It was a hard decision to make. Head vs heart. The cost of an extra child etc so I'm wondering if some negative reaction will head my way. Still I'm happy and I'm a great believer of things happen for a reason so smiles all round!

SassehMonsta · 28/09/2018 02:53

Mines a 3rd pregnancy but second child, as pregnancy 2 was terminated very early on. MiL is only family member who knows what happened so she was super happy and shocked that we were doing it all over again! Wouldn't have terminated but DD was 5 months, and I had just had gall bladder removed and wasn't in a fit state for anything!

2 is going to be tricky, but we have borrowed other children to look after for long days and I seem to be able to handle it. Last time we had a friends 6 month old for I hours while parents were poorly, and DD loved it.

It’s a first for us. I would have loved three children (coming from such a family myself) but life didn’t work out that way. We will be over the moon to have even one.

A friend told me they were expecting today and for the first time in years, it didn’t hurt.

SassehMonsta · 28/09/2018 04:50

I'm pleased that you have conceived Kescilly! Before kids we both wanted loads as both from huge families (I'm one of 4, and with DHs various half and step siblings, he's one of 9). But now we have 1 (and a growing one) we feel that 1 if plenty. Except we it will be 2 :)

I have just taken the last frer and the line doesn't look any stronger than the one I took 2 days ago, it's not as dark as the control line either, should I be worried? I am 4+1 today

RC000 · 28/09/2018 05:46

Hi Rancho - i wouldn't worry. I think examining lines can make you go a bit bonkers (I do it too) Can you get a cbd? X

Malichick · 28/09/2018 06:37

Hi ladies! Still can’t believe it either but I actually got a BFP a couple of days ago. I’m 3+2 going of LMP. It’s our first baby so it’s all super new and exciting :D Due date is 12th June :D xx

Ksjourney · 28/09/2018 09:30

Hello Everyone can I join the thread please. After 6 months of failed attempts we've finally got the BFP. I am only 1-2 days late so need to get out and buy a clear blue (as I'm only using cheap dip sticks).
Calculator says we are due 6th June Grin
I haven't told DH yet!!!

Beautifulblue · 28/09/2018 10:04

@Ksjourney congrats! How exciting you've still got to tell DH... planning on anything special or just gonna show him the test?!

pemb · 28/09/2018 11:47

Hi everybody I'm 4+5 pregnant with baby number 3!! I have two girls already so really hoping this one is a boy but if it's another girl I will have a little gang! Haven't told husband yet ! I've known for over a week but in between my girls I had 4 early losses in a row before 6 weeks so I want to get to 6/7 weeks x

spottypyjamas · 28/09/2018 12:51

Welcome @pemb we have a lot in common!

My 3rd too, also have 2 girls and also still yet to tell hubby! Will do in a few days, just waiting til af due date has well and truly passed x

Ksjourney · 28/09/2018 13:48

@Beautifulblue - I know I just ran to the shop and bought a clear blue (PREGNANT ... phew I was nervous for a second).

I got a little card saying 'welcome to the world' and a bag to put the test in. I have no idea how to give it to him... I was thinking of pretending the card came in the post. Decision was to tell him today (but he goes away tonight) or wait till Sunday when he is back?

@pemb and @spottypyjamas I feel for your situation facing early losses must be really emotionally draining and heartbreaking. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!!
