Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

@mamansnet we're the lucky ones! Although saying that with DD I went through the first 12 weeks feeling great only to get sickness from 14-20 weeks Hmm definitely not meant to happen that way I'm sure lol! I would definitely start believing if I were you 🤣🤣 have you taken a digital yet?

mamansnet · 29/09/2018 18:11

I may have spoken too soon. Feeling a little bit nauseous! Didn't have any morning sickness at all with DS so this is a new experience ConfusedHad the easiest pregnancy ever until 30 weeks, when I started getting pain in my hips and the lovely gestational diabetes. Wondering if nausea means it might be a girl this time...

I did a clearblue digital on Monday, it said 1-2 weeks but the battery has since died do it's not in the photo!

hopefulbabydust123 · 29/09/2018 20:26

Hi all, first time posting on this thread :) found out I was pregnant about 4 days ago but trying to not get ahead of myself being excited due to having a early miscarriage last year but this time it feels completely different, last time I was in so much pain with cramps and sore boobs that I couldn't even wear a bra where as this time I have no symptoms at all it's weird.

CatRen27 · 29/09/2018 22:13

Nervously poking my head through the door to ask if I can join?

After almost 3 years of trying for dc#2 we had our first round of ivf and I think it may have taken. I haven't had my blood test yet on Friday so only 10dpo buy had it confirmed on cb digital. Sooo nervous but hoping it sticks.

Due date 13 June.

Congratulations everyone on your pregnancies!

That's lovely news @CatRen27. Huge congratulations, welcome Smile

SockQueen · 29/09/2018 22:23

Congratulations and welcome @CatRen27 and @hopefulbabydust123!

Kescilly · 29/09/2018 23:32

@CatRen27 that’s wonderful, congrats!!!

I’m really nervous today. I started cramping again and it feels like AF.

pemb · 30/09/2018 04:52

@Kescilly I've had lots of cramps too but as long as your not bleeding and the pain is mild it's all normal. It's so hard to relax isn't it. Part of me wishes I hadn't found out so soon lol x

SassehMonsta · 30/09/2018 06:19

@pemb mine stayed at 2-3 and I have promised myself I am not going to get another. Urgh. My symptoms have faded to the odd bit of nausea and the.supersmell, but that's normal to come and go, apparently. I am trying to convince myself! I may go and see if I can get bloods done to check, and I hate needles so to be considering that my brain must be worried. :-/

Welcome to the new faces!

Hello and congratulations to the new ones!

My goodness, I am so much more anxious this time round. I feel less disgustingly sick and dizzy this morning and instead of being a grateful I am just worried. I'm trying to tell myself I didn't feel ill this early on with dd and all was fine.

4+5 today, and have decided to get an early viability scan at 7 weeks. Anyone else having one?

rollerskaterdata · 30/09/2018 08:23

@CatRen27 that is absolutely fantastic, congratulations!

@Kescilly cramping is quite normal, try not to worry. Unless they are severe cramps that won't ease accompanied by heavy bleeding you're most likely fine x

@Stormwhale I'm 4+5 too! Time is going soooo slowly. I'm getting an early scan at 6+2 at my local EPU (due to lower back pain I'm having, even though it's normal my GP is really good and always likes erring on the side of caution so has referred me) and will probably pay for a private scan around 9 weeks. I can't go another 6 weeks before seeing bub again! I suffer with anxiety too so this will help x

LadyM0ndegreen · 30/09/2018 08:43

I know it's super super early, but is anyone interested in a Facebook group? Did this with my previous baby and it was a lifesaving godsend. We are all really great friends now after going through pregnancy, birth, and watching our babies grow.

mussie · 30/09/2018 09:02

@LadyM0ndegreen I'd be interested, would be nice to see names and faces!

I'm 4+6 today, and still completely devoid of symptoms. Felt very flat-stomached, and spent a good ten minutes staring at myself naked in the mirror this morning to try and really appreciate my body before it starts to balloon 😂

mussie · 30/09/2018 09:03

Oh and I had a soft poached egg for breakfast and I am SO delighted that soft eggs are ok these days Smile how did pregnant women manage without them before, I will never know

pemb · 30/09/2018 09:06

Yes I will probably have an early scan! But it's £79! X

pemb · 30/09/2018 09:07

I'm 5 weeks today tested again .. trying not to concentrate on the darkness of the line x

MadeInCornwallx3 · 30/09/2018 09:08

Good Morning!

Can I join?

Got my BFP yesterday, bit of a surprise! I have a ds aged 4 and a dd aged 2 and thought that was it!

Anyone else having their third? I'm terrified haha

I know my conception date making me 4 weeks today, edd 9th June!

SockQueen · 30/09/2018 09:09

Definitely thinking about an early scan - I had 2 last time at the fertility clinic but obviously won't get that this time.

LadyM0ndegreen · 30/09/2018 09:21

@MadeInCornwallx3 yes, I'm having my third as well. Also terrified.

I am thinking of having an early scan as I have NO IDEA when I ovulated or conceived as I'm still breastfeeding my 8mo old, but yeah it's kinda pricey.

Anyone interested in a Facebook group, please message me your email address and I will set it up!

CatRen27 · 30/09/2018 09:23

LadyM0ndegreen I'd be keen on a fb group, although I'm in australia so time zones will be all messed up!

I'll be having regular scans and bloods as part of post ivf treatment, so kind of pleased to hopefully have a bit more sight of the little bean. Still can't fathom that it's actually worked. I'm still testing every day until my blood test on Friday, just to prepare for a cp in case the lines fade. Spent a small fortune at the chemist today on frers and a digital.. think the lady at the counter thought I was mad.

Who's having their first dc, and who's got little ones already? I've got a 3.5 year old daughter, naturally conceived 3rd month trying. What a difference a few years makes - was 32 when I conceived and I'm 35 now, almost 36.

Hope you're all doing really well

mussie · 30/09/2018 09:31

@LadyM0ndegreen just to confirm, the fb group would be a secret one, right? Don't want to accidentally announce my pregnancy to everyone by joining a public/closed group 😂

This is first baby for me, so I'm prepping to have my life turned upside down and inside out Grin

Stormwhale · 30/09/2018 09:43

Second dc for me. I have a nearly 5 year old dd already. She is going to be so blooming excited when we tell her. That is sort of why we are doing the early scan. Once we know all is going well we will be able to tell her, and then everyone else.

This baby is just what my dhs family need right now. There have been a few bereavements and i can't wait to tell them the happy news! I'm struggling to keep quiet already!

LadyM0ndegreen · 30/09/2018 09:55

@mussie yes, secret group for sure!

@CatRen27 by the time the babies are born, time zones won't matter at all.

Beautifulblue · 30/09/2018 10:02

Will be my second, have a 1 year old daughter. She will be 2 a month after this baby is due! Bit nervous about the small gap 😬 but we'll cope!

rollerskaterdata · 30/09/2018 10:08

@LadyM0ndegreen I'm not on Facebook but lovely idea!

@mussie I live on eggs! When I was pregnant with DS about 3/4 years ago soft boiled eggs weren't allowed - they are now and I'm so happy! Literally just had runny eggs and soldiers for my breakfast 😂 red lion stamped eggs though of course!

@CatRen27 this bean will be my second, I have a DS who will be 4 in December. We've already told him but not quite sure he understands - he keeps saying "does mummy have a baby in her tummy today?!" as if it's here one day but not the next! 😂
