June 2019 - The Early Birds

Hello there,

A new thread for those who are due in June 2019. The Early bird catches the worm! Or, in my case, the sickness.

Feel free to introduce yourselves and make yourself at home.

I'm Sarah, 28, and currently super-early into my pregnancy at 3+1. This will be my second child, and I have in the past, and currently still do, suffer from HG (severe morning sickness).

So come one, come all, let us start our journey with sticky thoughts! Welcome, to the June 19 bus!

Looks like we’re all bags of nerves, maybe that’s normal then?! 😂
I can’t sleeo, too many thoughts whooshing around in my head tonight x

4.20 seems to be my new wakeup time. Zzzzz. Welcome @PurrMaid :)

I am managing to eat in the evenings and keep it down. Which is ace, but Im still really struggling with tiredness at work. I have informed my HR manager and my actual manager too, as I had a long wait for an on-the-day appointment last week and because I'm only too aware of what comes next after the nausea ramps up. Luckily I don't sit too far from the loos!! Sadly tho8ugh, they aren't soundproof so everyone I work with would hear me.vomit.

Have you told anyone? At all?

I have told 3 of my best friends (2 local, one a distance away), a mentor friend, and also a nearby friend who is due her first in March/April time. DH is warning me not to tell family yet, but I really want my sister's support. I'm going to try and hold off telling her until half term.when she comes back closer to home, as she's a primary ed teacher a few hours away. Maybe get a scan before she comes down, or maybe book it and take her with me. :)

Ive been waking up at half 5 every morning....too excited to POAS! Not going to test again now...I’m kinda starting to believe it! I have told my mum and dad and one of my best friends. I’m really close to my mum and I wanted to ask her advice etc. OH doesn’t want us to tell anyone else for a few weeks. Also hoping for an early scan...don’t think he’ll believe it till he actually sees it! Woke up feeling a little nauseous but can’t work out if it’s just butterflies!

I've also told a couple of close family members and a friend. I have a big mouth and couldn't keep it to myself! I'm also going to tell my manager due to HG last time round as I may need to work from home more often! I'm going to struggle keeping it a secret for the next 8 weeks that much I know! Also hoping to go for an early scan. Tested this AM on what would've been AF due date and lines are stronger so think I'm going to leave it at that and just believe it!

hi all! Just had a BFP this morning for DC2! Totally in shock. I'm back in uni for a year so we were taking a break from TTC but weren't do anything to prevent it either, since DC1 took so long to conceive. Luckily I won't have any exams in June but I was supposed to be preparing a big presentation all day today and now I can't concentrate and am spending the day on MN instead!

I’ve told my best friend and my sister, also my assistant and one of the girls at work - they’ll work it out within a week anyways because of the dreaded HG, and I’ll need their support should anything go wrong. I’ll be telling my professional staff today also as we’re a small team and they need to know I’m not being a lazy shit if I’m being sick or just flagging! I won’t be telling anyone else until after our scans.
I need to book in with the midwife ASAP due to previous losses so will do that today. How’s everyone this morning?

Hello everyone! Got my BFP late last week but honestly have no idea what my EDD is because I am breastfeeding and have no idea when I am ovulating (or even if I was). Clear blue digital test says 1-2 so it looks like an early June due date.

This all feels very soon as I had a baby in January this year. This will be my third. Eldest is 16yo, youngest is 8 months. So there will be a 16 month gap between them.

Two under two! Arrgggghhhh!

Feeling okay but super tired. Been going to bed with the baby at 8pm haha.

Hi Lady! Two under two sounds challenging but so lovely at the same time! There’s a 2 year gap between me and my sister and we’re really close :) Have any of you booked in with the midwife yet?

Hi everyone, can I join?

I got my BFP this weekend, first baby, and I am 4+1, my due date is 3rd June I think!

Going to phone this morning and get booked in with midwife.

Welcome new faces!! I have booked myself in with midwife but it's not until 14th Nov. I have had to book things in to make it feel not so long away, so a meal out with a friend, a drive down south for a day out, my sister coming up, and a hearing appointment too. Everything is taking forever and time is going sooooo slowly. 4+5 today.

I've booked in with midwife at 8+2 and I'm also having an early scan at around 7 weeks due to miscarriage last month.

Fingers crossed all is okay this time 🤞🏻

I’m waiting on a call from the GP for some anti sickness tablets - I had to throw up in my emergency bin bags in the car on the way to work this morning Blush
I’m feeling ever so bloated today, is anyone else? I don’t want to give in to maternity trousers yet!!

Report
SassehMonsta · 25/09/2018 14:53

Yes Amy - I'm in mine this week (and only partly because I haven't kept up with the washing of my work trousers!). I have a definite swelling going on, comparable to around week 6 or 7 of my previous pregnancy. At 6 weeks I found trousers very uncomfortable last time!

I'm moving house in a few weeks so no point me booking into see the midwife at 8 weeks down here, plus I'm not registered at new surgery yet to book in with the midwife. Hoping to do so in the next few weeks. @Littlemissamy yikes, sorry to hear morning sickness has got you already! I've had some nausea and nearly threw up yesterday evening but fought it down - I really hate being sick but I know it's going to happen inevitably at some point. I'm 4+0 today going by LMP and didn't get it until 6 weeks last time, hopefully the same this time round! Anyone feeling really achy? I get achy thighs, hips and lower back on and off. Today my lower back is being particularly mean, and having a few cramps too x

Oh and I'm super bloated, I look about 4 months gone already!

Hi everyone, I am quite nervous to join in with this group, am around 4 weeks and got my positive at the weekend :) still don't really believe that I'm actually posting in one of these threads haha think I'm still in shock! I don't know when to ring the doctors, have just read that a few of you have done already, might do it at the end of the week.

My dates change depending on when I calculate it from (going by last period I am 4+1, going by my positive opk I am around 3+5) so still super early! Not feeling any symptoms, I do feel sick but I've got a horrible cold so think that's to blame!

Hello can I join? We’ve been trying for a year for our first and got a BFP this week! Still can’t believe it! Although trying not to get too excited until we’re a bit further gone. I presume when you say x+x that means weeks plus days?! I’m around 4 weeks but going to doctors tomorrow to confirm! Eek!

Littlemissamy · 26/09/2018 15:16

Well today I said goodbye to my favourite skinny jeans. I’m so bloated they won’t fasten, I’ve got a hair band on the button and a belly band on at the minute but last time I did not have to go to these measures for another few weeks! I know the bloating will go down but sheesh!

RanchoRelaxo · 26/09/2018 17:04

Hi @stellarfox you posted on the thread I made about my 1st test, retesting went well then? :) It's my first too

@Littlemissamy @rollerskaterdata I have felt super bloated today too, my work trousers have actually dug in 😂 didn't realise this would happen so soon! Glad to hear it goes down haha

I have got an awful cold (started with it just after I got my bfp) I feel horrible, can't stop sneezing and feel achey all over 👎 hoping I start feeling better tomorrow!

Report
Littlemissamy · 26/09/2018 18:17

I assume it’ll go down, it’s been 5 years since my first so I can’t really remember! Thinking about it, im pretty sure that I had to go into maternity trousers around 9 weeks with my mmc pregnancy Blush I’ve dug all my old clothes out and I’m much more comfortable in my maternity leggings tonight!

Report
rollerskaterdata · 26/09/2018 19:23

I mean, the bloating is just ridiculous! I feel huge and uncomfortable already!

Had a very early scan today at 4+1, I've had some aches and pains along with a bit of cramping, so GP sent me to EPU to make sure it's not an ectopic pregnancy. It isn't - it's in exactly the right place, we could see a tiny gestational sac and everything which surprised the sonographer so much she had to get her boss to double check she was seeing right! Apparently it's rare to see even a gestational sac this early. So feeling much better now and going back at 6+0 for another scan as once they scan you early once, they like to keep scanning you until they see baby and a heartbeat apparently. I don't mind, means I get to see my little bean early! 🙂

@RC000 that's great! I haven't done the clearblue weeks indicator as I know I would obsess and drive myself mad, so I've spared myself that torture 😂
Symptoms can take 5, even 6 weeks to kick in so don't worry about it! Some women (the lucky ones!) don't even get any!

Report
mamansnet · 26/09/2018 21:50

No symptoms here, apart from needing to wee all the time! Still feels like my period is due any minute, anyone else having this? I'm 4+4.

Didn't know I was pregnant until 7 weeks last time - had a period bang on time and everything (implantation?) so a little paranoid about feeling like I'm due on. I've done 6 internet cheapie tests since Saturday, just to see if the line is getting darker yet Grinso far so good!

stellarfox · 26/09/2018 21:56

@RanchoRelaxo Ahh yes I thought I recognised your name! Yes it’s definitely positive now! 😄 Still can’t believe it though.

I feel quite crampy but I also have a cold and a bit of an upset stomach so I’m not sure if I’ve got pregnancy symptoms or generally unwell symptoms!
