@kezzasmeds yes I'm 41. Pregnant with my 2nd

Firstbornunicorn · 29/09/2018 09:53

@Shazafied oh how awful! Hope you're not feeling like too much of a zombie. Good luck with your scan! 😍

Pebblespony · 29/09/2018 11:40

Can anyone recommend a multi vitamin to me? I'm very run down, on my second lot of antibiotics in a month. I tried the pregnacare but they made me feel very sick. I'm sick anyway but I couldn't keep these down.

earlybirdhasanap · 29/09/2018 12:00

@Pebblespony I take a bog standard vitamin d and folic acid. I find taking it at night before bed helps it stay down.
If you've had two lots of antibiotics it might be worth getting some probiotics as well. I drink kefir but you can get tablets from health shops.

Great news @Shazafied.

Shazafied · 29/09/2018 14:44

Makes all the morning sickness worth it.... sort of.

MysteriousSheep · 29/09/2018 17:14

My scan today confirmed ‘missed miscarriage’ (ie no heartbeat). Have opted for expectant management, so just going to wait til it passes naturally. Although if I get sick of waiting I can go back in and they will give me tablets to start things off. Pretty gutted, but also feel much more able to cope with being sad, rather than the horrendous anxiety and not knowing that I had before!
Anyway, hope everyone else’s pregnancies go well and you all get through the yucky first trimester, I’m checking out!

Teladi · 29/09/2018 17:21

So sorry MysteriousSheep. I hope you don't have to wait too long. Sending you sympathy x

Thank you everyone...feel like I’ve derailed the thread somewhat! Hopefully I’ll have happier news in a few months time.
