New thread ladies after the last one only lasted 2 weeks Grin
Not sure about you all but I'm definitely feeling a lot better now at 14 weeks. Let's hope it lasts!! As you were.....

Ha I remember being in the shower the night before my c section desperately trying to deforest myself!! As if anyone cares!

Just had my first obs appointment - baby looked fine, all measurements correct and have had my section agreed - she said she was glad I wanted a section as people having vbac makes her nervous 😂. So now it my anomaly scan in 2 weeks then back to see her two weeks after that. Plenty of appointments to keep me busy.

AliceRR · 24/08/2018 11:51

I think everything is a bit more sensitive in pregnancy so waxing etc may well hurt more

emalady · 24/08/2018 11:55

I have definitely found waxing more sore since I have been pregnant. I'm more hairy so was considering going back sooner but the pain puts me off. Normally I don't have an issue with waxing at all.

lanalawr · 24/08/2018 11:59

Maybe I just need to man up and give it a go.

Alicejj8x · 24/08/2018 12:08

Sorry @NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking didn't mean too tag you lol. Meant for @jeanzbeanz

Yakadee · 24/08/2018 12:34

@welshweasel - I'm hoping for a section this time too. Saw my midwife yesterday and she's referred me to the consultant x

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/08/2018 13:03

powkin I have found the same, each vom is worse than the last!

Lulabell I can't eat cheese or chocolate either! Well I can eat some cheese, I had three slices of pizza on Monday and didn't feel any more ill than usual after. I'm also off milk mainly and am having soya. Chocolate is a big no though, I had three measly galaxy counters on Tuesday and I think it's what pushed me over the edge and made me sick.

AliceRR · 24/08/2018 13:07

@Alicejj8x That’s the pillow I’m thinking of getting!

Alicejj8x · 24/08/2018 13:08

@AliceRR
It's literally amazing.
I think it's quite pricey but OH didn't exactly tell me how much but I
Googled ahaha
But so worth it and it's a 3 in one too xx

Surprisedmom · 24/08/2018 13:20

@Alicejj8x yes pregnancy pillows are amazing. I’ve stayed at a friends the last two nights and sorely missed mine. I got it on a deal through wowcher so it was only £15 and sooooo worth it!

Alicejj8x · 24/08/2018 13:30

@Surprisedmom
Ah bet you can't wait to get back to your pillow lol

I duno how I lived without one lol x

Leonora94 · 24/08/2018 14:56

For those talking pregnancy pillows I splurged and bought the bbhugme, first night with it last night and I can honestly say I feel like a new woman today as I've slept properly for the first time in weeks! Couldn't recommend it enough I'm in love.

Since2016 · 24/08/2018 17:29

Hi all - can’t remember when I last posted although have been trying to keep up. I’ve been off for a few days this week so have had some much needed 1:1 time with my DD - messy play in a park, transport museum and Covent Garden, lunches, swimming and an animal sanctuary today. I feel so like I’ve neglected her recently being so unwell and stressed. Enjoying these days out 1:1 too!!

Sorry to hear about those who are still being sick - sounds hideous.

Pillow wise - I had the dream genie last time and have it out of the loft. It’s lovely and really bendy. I do have a separate feeding pillow tho as I found I needed a harder cushion.

I’ve started getting lumps / small cysts in my ears again - awful. Last time too. Wtf is pregnancy doing to me?!!! 15w today. Hoorah. Got a lot more energy this week too, although lugging the buggy around the tube and central london is a bit knackering!

DeliberatelyGinger · 24/08/2018 17:38

W00t! Scan results are in - all low. Only had the scan Wednesday so I guess I'm lucky to have the results already.
Anyone using bio oil and have any idea how much to use and if it's any good?

Koalatom1 · 24/08/2018 19:03

I didn’t bother with my 2nd as I used it religiously with my 1st and I was covered!

Yakadee · 24/08/2018 19:10

@Koalatom1 - same unfortunately. I haven't bothered yet this pregnancy x

Since2016 · 24/08/2018 19:16

Same @koalatom1 was so smug and then week 30...

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/08/2018 19:34

Deliberatelyginger I used to cocoa butter for pregnancy/stretch marks, and didn't get a single one. I do think it's mainly luck/genetics though! My mum doesn't have any either, hoping I don't get any this time round.

Baby160P · 24/08/2018 19:36

Anyone else else find it weird not actually feeling pregnant?

Lookingforadvice123 · 24/08/2018 19:42

Baby160p I could not feel more pregnant and have done for almost 10 weeks 😫 I would love to not feel it!

DeliberatelyGinger · 24/08/2018 20:05

Boohoo has a great soliton of maternity dresses but has any one got any recommendations for trousers?

DragonFlew · 24/08/2018 20:12

@DeliberatelyGinger I got some lovely jeans in Next, they do have nice trousers in there too. All only available online unfortunately!

Baby160P · 24/08/2018 20:14

@Lookingforadvice123 mother than my giant cleavage I have felt fine since about 9 weeks (sorry!!)

DragonFlew · 24/08/2018 20:15

@Lookingforadvice123 @Baby160P me too I am so bloated and fat and I'm not even 14 weeks yet haha! Third baby though so I guess the bulge is warranted - that's what I'm telling myself. Its like I can feel my skin stretching already.

I used bio oil in my first pregnancy and it makes your skin feel lovely but it didn't stop my stretch marks! I don't think there is a full proof way to stop them, if you're going to get them you're going to get them; don't worry - embrace them!
