New thread ladies after the last one only lasted 2 weeks Grin
Not sure about you all but I'm definitely feeling a lot better now at 14 weeks. Let's hope it lasts!! As you were.....

@AliceRR Yes you're right, it will definitely be good for me! I have chronic fatigue syndrome so I do need to be careful not to overdo it, but I'm already getting quite bad pain in the back of my pelvis so I'd like to strengthen that if I can.

Notquiteagandt · 23/08/2018 20:09

*jeanzbeanz 🤞🤞🤞for you

@Alicejj8x I got mine at about 10w. Although it is getting hard to see through all the hair. Gross. Who ever said pregnancy was glamourous hahah

AliceRR · 23/08/2018 20:13

@Fredthespider I hear it’s pretty slow paced so hopefully shouldn’t be too tiring (although doing anything after work is an ask at the moment!) but I’ll let you know how it goes if I make it tomorrow!

Bluelagoon25 · 23/08/2018 21:16

@twiglet we are finding out the gender next Sunday too 😍

Celebelly · 23/08/2018 22:56

I'm getting stretchmarks on my boobs 😭😭😭😭

powkin · 23/08/2018 23:03

Think this evening was in top 3 vomits of the pregnancy. Think cheese came out of my nose. I’m 14 weeks tomorrow so don’t know if it’s like the epic fireworks they save to the end of a bonfire night display.

jeanzbeanz · 23/08/2018 23:17

@powkin I'm sorry, but LOL at your epic fireworks description 😂

Lulabell1 · 23/08/2018 23:57

@powkin cheese has been a big NO for me since about 9weeks makes me so sick and chocolate...my 2 fav things

Baby160P · 24/08/2018 08:07

@Celebelly me too! mine are huge at the moment and so painful again so must be growing. Normally sleep on my side leaning to my front a little bit couldn't last night as they hurt so much. Scared how big they're going to be as already gone up 3 sizes at 14 weeks!

twiglet · 24/08/2018 08:21

@bluelagoon25 😍

I've gone from a 32B to a 36D in 16 weeks 😲 I thought I had put loads of weight on but only up 4lb until my friend said that your rib cage also expands. I wish they would do a complete symptom list in a pocket format....

Alicejj8x · 24/08/2018 08:32

@Notquiteagandt
Yes I was wondering if it's the line or if it's hair looool!!

Why has this hair sprouted lol

Lulabell1 · 24/08/2018 10:11

This is the 1 thing i am very worried about. After DD i went up to a GG they then shrunk after breast feeding and i was left with skin so i had them done really dont want a repeat!!!

I thought id come to the end of the sickness i felt good for 2 days and been eating while i can but wome up this morning had some toast now im feeling rubbish again Hmm

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/08/2018 10:20

I’m going on holiday tomorrow... so I’ve just been for my prep.

Usually I epilate at home between waxes (only wax for special occasions), but due to feeling so knackered and sick I’ve only been trimming. Oh my god.... the pain!! Is anyone else finding intimate hair removal more sensitive than usual?? 😭😭😭

jeanzbeanz · 24/08/2018 10:30

Anyone got any maternity pillow recommendations? I'm getting a sore back and really struggling with sleeping too. Wondering about getting one of the huge U pillows but don't know if it will take up too much space (we have a standard double bed)

Fredthespider · 24/08/2018 10:32

I just found a skin tag down below, google suggest this is apparently quite common!! I think we definitely need a list of ‘random things that might or might not happen but are perfectly normal during pregnancy’ 😩

powkin · 24/08/2018 10:34

I’ve always been really hairy (fluffy downy hair) but now my tummy is horrible. The hair seems darker. I’m going to bleach it I think but can’t imagine how ridiculous I’m going to look. OH is out Sunday night so think I’m going attempt the mammoth task then! I did my arm hair the other day and it’s amazing how quickly it grows!

mummakat84 · 24/08/2018 10:40

Random stuff to look forward to: skin tags on your bits (they go after birth thank god) and haemorrhoids (they go too...but yes u won't feel pretty down there) random discharge...umm pooping in labour..., thank goodness babies are cute lol

mummakat84 · 24/08/2018 10:41

Oh and having a jungle down there cos out of sight out of mind :p

Baby160P · 24/08/2018 10:42

@jeanzbeanz I have this one www.mothercare.com/feeding-pillows/dreamgenii-pregnancy-support-and-feeding-pillow---white-cotton-jersey/210601.html#q=Maternity+pillow&start=1

It was in the sale in store so not sure if it's better to go down there. It supports my back as I sleep and doesn't take up so much room in the bed as the longer ones. I love it, and it can be used once baby arrives as a feeding pillow too.

@powkin I did my arms and temped to do the tummy too. They really need to do bigger pots haha

Fredthespider · 24/08/2018 10:55

I'd forgotten about those @mummakat84! So glamorous!

emalady · 24/08/2018 11:00

I had my 16 week midwife appointment yesterday, apparently here they still listen to the heart routinely which was lovely. I got a bit told off for gaining lots of weight and doing no exercise so went for a walk, did some yoga and signed back up to the gym /swimming pool.

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/08/2018 11:10

Never had skin tags!! Piles though I am prepared for! Already told my wax lady I’ll need an appointment late January time 😂

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/08/2018 11:12

I’m also fairly sure I didn’t poo in my first two labours... fingers crossed this tradition continues! 😬😬

lanalawr · 24/08/2018 11:16

Is waxing more painful in pregnancy? I've never had it done and am a massive wimp - I can't do the home waxing strips or epilate. I was thinking about getting a wax at a salon in January so I didn't have to think about anything but might wimp out now.

For anyone worried about pain in labour - for someone who can't even wax, I surprisingly found labour more or less pain free last time (didn't do hypnobirthing or pain relief except one breath of gas and air). Stitches on the other hand were s bit sore. I know this isn't the case for everyone but there is hope!

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 24/08/2018 11:19

Labour is an entirely different type of pain... it’s bearable if you fobfnosnu. I think.

I think it is a bit more sensitive, but I think it was that combined with the fact I hadn’t done any proper hair removal for months! 😳
