New thread ladies after the last one only lasted 2 weeks Grin
Not sure about you all but I'm definitely feeling a lot better now at 14 weeks. Let's hope it lasts!! As you were.....

Yes to the sore back! And also hips tooo

Surprisedmom · 18/08/2018 16:24

Yes to the sore back if I do too much walking around in a day. I bought one of the pregnancy pillows from wowcher and it arrived today - it’s soooooooo comfy I wish i’d got it sooner (even when I wasn’t pregnant lol)

kjonesey2 · 18/08/2018 16:45

Hi ladies, think it's time I joined in too! I've been reading the threads but waiting until I got the all clear with the scan. 13 weeks today, DC2 due Feb 23rd!

MrsSnootyPants2018 · 18/08/2018 16:59

@kjonesey2 hi!! Our DC2 is due 21 Feb!

Alicejj8x · 18/08/2018 17:01

Best thing ever

FrowningFlamingo · 18/08/2018 18:35

Oh my friend has given me a pregnancy pillow and I haven't started using it yet, I might get it out tonight!

AliceRR · 18/08/2018 19:21

@yakadee @cheesegobbler I’m in Leeds!

Yes to sore back!

Did some more maternity clothes shopping. Really needed some jeans / trousers as my others (even though I sized up a month or two ago as felt it was too early to buy mat clothes) are too uncomfortable!

Found H&M really good. Posting links as I couldn’t find them for the New Look items I got

These jeans are great

Also these looked like leggings but are actually skinny joggers and mine are in sale for £4 and £5 (for 2 pairs but priced differently)

Also got this

And a couple of plain tees

🙂

cheesegobbler · 18/08/2018 19:47

Hi! We are due on the 21st too, and it’s our anniversary that day too!

craftymum01 · 18/08/2018 19:59

I got some nice work bits in H&M too. Went to a large shopping centre and they were the only clothes store that carried maternity clothes instore. All the others told me to look online. I usually buy online but I have tried to stop recently as I am really bad at returning things if they don't suit or fit so I end up wasting money. Was nice to actually look through the rails but was disappointing that no other shop even had a small section to peruse.

maxiflump1 · 18/08/2018 20:14

I'm feeling pretty rotten this weekend. No energy at all and just want to sleep. Think maybe I've been overdoing it....
I also have a total craving for fizzy drinks! Never normally like coke etc but I can't get enough of the stuff. We've run out but contemplating sending DH to the shops. Think maybe because I'm tired I'm craving the sugar!

Just place marking :)

Yakadee · 18/08/2018 20:38

@AliceRR - yay! And yes to everyone else on the backache! X

AliceRR · 18/08/2018 21:45

@craftymum01 yes I have found that. I initially went to John Lewis for mat wear a couple of weeks ago and they had nothing and it’s such a big store! I went to a local shopping centre today and think H&M was the only shop with mat wear but I think I have enough to get by with for now with what I got there and New Look

craftymum01 · 18/08/2018 22:22

I need to look at new looks website to get s few more day to day basics

Celebelly · 18/08/2018 23:41

Is anyone starting to show? I'm 15 weeks today and I swear a small bump has appeared overnight! It's not bloat or gas (had that all first trimester) and it's hard to touch. It feels a bit early for my first but I really look a bit pregnant now and not just slightly fat!

hayley013 · 18/08/2018 23:43

@DragonFlew we are having a 16 gender scan, but have kindly been gifted it, I think we'd have probably still had one regardless, we're excited to find out.

How do the pregnancy pillows work? Where do you put them? Haha I've no clue and this is my second, but my back aches when I'm in bed.

@maxiflump1 I've had a taste for fizzy drinks and don't usually have them at all.

craftymum01 · 19/08/2018 00:10

This is quite useful @hayley013 www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m.wikihow.com/Use-a-Pregnancy-Pillow%3famp=1

Mine is just a v pillow which i put between my legs and under my bump when I was in the third trimester. I really struggled with my hips and this helped a lot

Yakadee · 19/08/2018 07:38

@Celebelly - oh yes, defo have a bump! I'm 16 weeks today and no getting away with it now x

Since2016 · 19/08/2018 08:34

I have the genie pillow - it has a flat part in the middle and a section to support your back. I love it!

I’m 14 +2. Definitely full on bump. So many people telling me how big I was last night. Made me feel a bit rubbish tbh. Struggling with it as it is - I think it’s just the marked difference between normal and now - normally v flat tummy. Made me feel a bit rubbish. I remember how much I didn’t enjoy this stage at all with DD.

Yakadee · 19/08/2018 08:37

@Since2016 - I know what you mean, it can be tough. I've had the opposite where people think I'm hardly showing or 'I can't even tell' and I feel massive so just feel really fat now! I don't know why people say anything lol x

cheesegobbler · 19/08/2018 08:39

Ahh hun I hope you feel better. I haven't had this problem... I haven't had a flat stomach for years! It's just the ft has got harder now lol. Ppl started to notice when I was about 10weeks and it's my first. Don't forget, you expand quicker with your second and at least you know after baby is here you can go back to normal x

Since2016 · 19/08/2018 08:49

Thanks both. Just feel so big in comparison to last time. Barely had a bump at 20 weeks. I look 5 months now! Just feel massive and frumpy. I don’t enjoy being pregnant at all!

AliceRR · 19/08/2018 08:59

I still can’t work out whether I have an actual bump or bloat as sometimes it feels firm and sometimes not but I know none of my clothes fit me and a few people I’ve told at work this week has said they had an idea as basically I looked pregnant! To be honest I don’t mind that. I don’t think I’ve put on weight anywhere other than my bump although someone at work suggested I had chubbier cheeks!

cheesegobbler · 19/08/2018 09:10

Our work colleagues are just great aren't they Grin

DragonFlew · 19/08/2018 09:23

Been so sick this morning. I haven't been sick for over 2 weeks now. Does anyone else just have a random vomit after nothing for ages?
I'm 12+6.
