New thread ladies after the last one only lasted 2 weeks
Not sure about you all but I'm definitely feeling a lot better now at 14 weeks. Let's hope it lasts!! As you were.....

@ducklingb. I know that she was just being nice but was still taken aback as the only people who have touched my tummy so far are my DH and DM. I only have a small bump so it’s not as if it’s completely obvious either lol 🙂!

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking I hit a really nice pink top from Warehouse. It's not pregnancy but is pleated and flared at the bottom and longer at the front than the back so it's kind of perfect. I did get it in May though so I'm not sure if it's still available.

I'm not sure I'm even comfortable with my DH touching my bump, but that's probably because I'm only 12 weeks and I put most of the bump down to a combination of pre-existing fat and Gas ( I had a bit of a belly before I got preggers).

@MrsSnootyPants2018 I agree that Mothercare is very pricey. The one I went in also had nothing that looked work suitable, just lots of leggings that look very comfy but which I don’t think will pass as a supply teacher.

Nobody has yet asked me if mine was planned but I think perhaps because it so patently wasn’t. I don’t really think it’s anyone’s business.

Been for my scan today baby is measuring 12+6 everything looks perfect, It was so active.. we r so excited 😁

I second @Since2016 on eBay. I have bought katie piper dresses, loads from mothercare and new look some of which had hardly been work. Spend about £60 total for what would have been about £300 worth of stuff new. There's also quite a good preloved maternity clothing uk page on facebook that I've picked some absolute bargains up from.

Is anyone else hungry like ALL the time???

I’m hungry a lot at the moment @Baby160P and it soon becomes intense hunger pangs if I don’t eat soon enough!

Went to New Look today to see if they had another pair of those maternity trousers / leggings I like as I’ve worn them most of this week. No sign! Weird I couldn’t find them in store or online... she asked am I sure they are from mat section? Not sure as a sales assistant recommended them to DH while I was in the changing room!

@Baby160P yes, I am hungry all the time. Somehow not gaining weight though which is stressing me out - not looking forward to the midwife telling me off and thinking it’s because i’m not eating (I barely stop snacking on fruit/nuts all day in between meals).

@Surprisedmom I've lost weight this week. I've been trying to for years and now I'm eating constantly and losing. Typical!

I'm constantly hungry too, pretty sure I'm gaining though.

What does your bump feel like now? Mine feels firm low down sometimes but at the moment it just feels squishy! I have a bit of a stomach ache so maybe it is bloat

As for people touching bumps, someone at work touched mine yesterday and said “is it hard like (receptionist)?” and then touched it and I felt self conscious cause it probably felt squishy!!

I'm eating so much, and find the more I eat the hungrier I get! Dd even asked me earlier why I eat so much 😂😂😂

@Baby160P this week for 1st time since being pregnant I have felt hungry.

Annoying as I have zero appretite, everything tastes funny and im still constantly throwing up.

So how/why i feel hungry is beyond me 😂

Those who are saying they are short. I am a size 6 petite. Managed to find some smaller bits in asos, new look and h&m jeans are weridly short.

If anyone has any more reccomendations for size 6 pieces? As im struggling tbh. Not much out there.

@leonora94 i can definitely help you with this! DD was not planned i got pregnant on the pill and continued to have periods until i took a pregnancy test and found out i was 4 and a half months pregnant. People physiologically judge you in such a patronising way by saying silly little comments i found smiling and killing with kindness is the best way forward!!!! Like you said you are prepared, people probably think you arent just because age but you will prove them wrong lovely just like i did 8 years down with DP and baby number 2 cooking away! X

My sister just asked when she can write a ‘bragging’ Facebook post.... she’s friends with 909 people. I’m not even on Facebook and DH has no desire to post about it on there. The fact that I even had to explain why I wouldn’t want that is just mind boggling.

@powkin we aren't putting on Facebook anytime soon and everyone is baffled.

I keep saying the people know need to know will know. I've also gone through my Facebook and deleted loads Incase we do put something on and I don't want people to know if they don't even say hello in the street etc. So for 909 people you don't even know to know it not right. I agree.

We haven't put anything on Facebook, probably will in a week or so but I don't like to do it straight away. Like you say I've told all the important people!

Each to their own but we didn't put anything on Facebook. I've told everyone I wanted to in person / on the phone. My sister has asked if she could tag me in a pregnancy thing and I don't mind that. People will know soon enough when I'm the size of a house lol x
