@Thegirlhasnoname I agree, I'm hoping it just all runs smoothly. Hopefully by the end of the week we will both have our babies the weekend will fly round!

@meetthewildes I didn't expect it so soon! I think me and DH are going to have abit of a shop and I'll get the house ready. Nothing exciting but it'll help with the nerves

Is anyone using Evening primrose oil? What doseage?
I have 300mg capsules and have been taking 1 orally the last 2 days but think I'll start taking as a Pessary too but not sure of the dose? Is 1 capsule each way per day ok?

I have more protein in my wee and blood pressure hasn’t come down half as much as they wanted to I’ve been admitted into a ward. Had a right good cry on the way from the day unit to the actual ward though, it has to be said!

@thegirlhasnoname I am thinking of you and hoping that they are taking good care of you and explaining everything in such a way as you feel safe and informed. Is there a new plan for you and baby?

Had 38 week appt today - baby is 0/5 palpable which explains my extreme discomfort. I keep having shooting pains down my legs and feel like I have a bowling ball in my vagina. Midwife told me to get prepared although I think I’m going to be uncomfortable until section day next week 😣

I’m also experiencing shooting pain down my right leg, it really buckles me and it’s awdul

@meetthewildes they’re just trying to keep my blood pressure stable as much as they can until Saturday when baby’ll be “fully cooked” ideally though that means staying in hospital until then and beyond depending how I take to the induction. Have said that if increased medication has stabilised it that I could possibly go home today but I’m not pinning any hopes on it, no matter how nice that would be. Strangely don’t seem to be too bothered about the protein in my wee though, just lots of blood pressure and Fetal heart rate monitoring going on

It must be what I get for having such an easy pregnancy!

39 weeks today! Had a couple contractions yesterday... Got excited but then nothing so just practice ones. How is everyone else doing?

Hope everyone is doing okay today! Got called in for my induction at 9 this morning, she did the examination and I'm already dilated with cervix how it should be so we are just on the ward waiting for space to become available on delivery suite and they will pop my waters.

So exciting to have a baby by the weekend!

Our little man arrived on tuesday evening weighing 8.5lbs.
Both very tired. Will catch up on all the updates soon.

Been having awful itching today on hands, feet and legs so got to go in for bloods tomorrow to check for OC Hopefully it’s nothing!

Baby phoebe arrived Wednesday morning 4:37am 12 days early due to induction on Monday . Weighing 6lbs 7oz she is perfect makes up for the horrendous labour she was worth every hour, push and stitch. Hope everyone is doing well good luck to the next lot of mummys and congratulations to all the new ones 😍😍

I had my home birth assessment yesterday, with the SoM and head of the homebirth team. It went really well, aside from my children howling with outrage outside the door because they were not behaving politely enough to be permitted to remain inside the room! Can't wait to try to deliver with that lot milling around...

Currently 40+1 and trying to remain reasonable and zen.

Hi everyone please can I join I am due 17th October. But having planned caesarean on 15th October. So excited first baby, due a little boy. 👶🏻💙

We had our beautiful little girl at 6.29 this morning having been in hospital since Tuesday at 9am. A very long labour but I can't believe she's here! Healthy and well at 37+4 weighing a lovely 7lb 13 congratulations to everyone else too!
