Thanks for the well wishes ladies. Honestly, I'm ok. Well I'm sad and sore. But I know that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in miscarriage. Considering I should be nearly 7 weeks now and was only measuring about 4, it obviously never developed in the first place. It's very sad but it helps me to know that it was never really a baby. I have an amazing little boy to focus on who is a complete clown and makes me laugh constantly, so I'll be ok. I'm going to leave you all to it now. I really wish you all the best for happy, healthy pregnancies.

HidCat · 08/08/2018 18:06

@coastergirl I'm sorry to hear that, and glad you feel mostly okay. Already having my son really helped me get my own miscarriage into perspective too, so I'm glad you have that distraction / comfort. All the best for the future x

I bought Sea Bands from the chemist today because taking DS to swimming lessons today was a struggle. I think they're actually helping! I managed to make steak for dinner and eat a little. Does anyone still have metallic taste in their mouth? Its not pleasant Confused

OP posts:
BadBadBeans · 08/08/2018 21:44

@Angelmiracle it's definitely not metallic but I do have just a nasty taste at the back of my mouth almost all the time. Gets worse the more sick I feel.

Murphyrocks · 08/08/2018 21:51

@Angelmiracle I agree with @BadBadBeans, more a rotting taste than anything 🤢 Not helpful at all! Called dysgeusia apparently and can be any number of unpleasant tastes although metallic is the most common. Again that has eased as my morning sickness does though so hope it will for you too.

thefirsttimer · 09/08/2018 06:02

So sorry to hear that @coastergirl take care xxx

TeaRexx · 09/08/2018 06:36

Sorry to hear that @coastergirl

@Angelmiracle I read about sea bands and thinking I may give this a go too. Morning sickness is well underway and it’s constant... really affecting eating. I’m hardly eating anything at all which isn’t helping energy levels. People have starting saying how tired I look at work! Sad

BadBadBeans · 09/08/2018 08:45

@Murphyrocks yep that's more like what I have taste wise. Actually this morning I've woken up not feeling sick and without the taste... nearly 8 weeks so maybe that's the little lull that some of you have had?
