@SquirtlesMumAgain glad it's good news ! Fingers crossed all stays good.

Wineandchoccy · 30/07/2018 12:32

SquirtlesMumAgain Fantastic news I’m thrilled for you, here’s hoping the rest of the pregnancy is very boring and normal

ladycarlotta · 30/07/2018 12:36

@squirtlesmumagain what a relief! So pleased for you - fingers crossed that baby stays stubborn.

MrsEsner · 30/07/2018 12:43

Hello Ladies! I am due beginning of March and will be 10 weeks Wednesday.

Symptoms: Nausea, bloating, full tummy feeling all the time. My skin has gone CRAZY and I have broken out majorly.

How are you guys all feeling?

HidCat · 30/07/2018 13:20

@mostimproved I'm so sorry. I hope you're ok, take plenty of time to process things. Lots of love to you xxx

@SquirtlesMumAgain aim glad things appear to be ok for you. 🤞🤞🤞

ladycarlotta · 30/07/2018 13:45

Hi @MrsEsner, congratulations and welcome! Think you'll be one of the furthest along - I'm about 9+2. I've felt horribly nauseous and tired, but weirdly my skin has been pretty good. When do we start to glow??

Today I had a bit of a funny turn - I had to pick up some post which turned out to be a heavy-ish parcel (but not mega heavy), and carried it home only about 15 minutes, but I properly got the shakes. I have PCOS and am usually careful about managing my blood sugar, but have been so averse to so many foods lately that I just eat what I can and probably don't have a great diet blood-sugar-wise. I'll have to be more careful.

MrsEsner · 30/07/2018 14:10

@ladycarlotta Hey lovely! Congrats to you too!

WHERE IS THE GLOW? I am like a teenager with spots!

My sister suffers with PCOS and it took her 2 years to fall pregnant and had a healthy baby boy 5 weeks ago. The reason she fell pregnant was because she turned vegan for 6 weeks before she conceived and it cleared up all her cysts, how crazy is that?!

My diet also isn't the best but with the nausea, just eat what you can little and often :)

TheOneWithTheBaby · 30/07/2018 14:30

This morning the nausea has really hit me. Exactly six weeks today.
I made a delicious soup yesterday which I really enjoyed. This morning I walked into the kitchen and the soup smell (just lingering) made me gag. Healthy eating alert: all I've managed so far today is some fizzy haribos.

Also-definitely NO glow here. I'm getting spots everywhere.

TortoiseshellM · 30/07/2018 14:34

I have never had a better complexion! Maybe it ‘s due to not drinking and not smoking? Stopped both as soon as got 2 lines on the test. Did some meditation yesterday and today and the nausea has also improved, more foods added on!

HidCat · 30/07/2018 15:23

You know what they say ladies - having a girl steals your glow and having a boy improves it lol. I wonder if it's true?

ladycarlotta · 30/07/2018 15:34

@HidCat haha well I've always kind of thought of this one as a boy (but then I thought the one I MCd was too, so maybe it's just habit), and I wouldn't say I'm glowing but I'm not actively spotty, so...

(I think @TortoiseshellM is onto something - I've been consuming gallons of water and zero wine or chocolate, so that's probably cleared it up. I'm practically Gwyneth Paltrow.)

@MrsEsner I was so lucky with the PCOS. I was getting quite good at managing it with exercise, diet, and myo-inositol, but I was still the heaviest I've ever been when I conceived this one. I'd been told by a GP to be prepared to struggle to conceive, and had already decided that if it looked like I was going to need a lot of invasive treatment I'd rather skip straight to adoption, so it was a pleasant surprise that it worked out.

MrsEsner · 30/07/2018 15:36

So pleased for you!!! Such amazing news

TortoiseshellM · 30/07/2018 15:52
Smile
Wineandchoccy · 30/07/2018 16:01

HidCat I felt and looked glowing last time and had a girl I feel and look dreadful this time so I am guessing it’s a puppy Grin

Wineandchoccy · 30/07/2018 16:02

I am working from home just had to have an hour in bed my eyes wouldn’t stay awake Blush

angel0071987 · 30/07/2018 16:18

Apparently I glowed last time and I had a boy. Took until about 12 weeks though. After the I look just fat(ter) stage and actually looked properly pregnant. My hair stopped falling out when brushing and I didn't have to shave legs/arms much at all.

MoosterTheMoose · 30/07/2018 16:22

I want some glow... all I have is grease!

MistakenHoliday · 30/07/2018 16:24

No glow here! Just a lovely shade of grey...

MistakenHoliday · 30/07/2018 16:25

Oh @SquirtlesMumAgain that's great news! Fingers crossed your bean stays sticky!

Rockmum30 · 30/07/2018 16:28

@SquirtlesMumAgain so so pleased to hear that! Luckily I've never had sickness just a queasy uneasy feeling :/

puravida31 · 30/07/2018 17:53

My glow is also AWOL, instead I’ve got spots, bloating & the faint smell of vomit...

@ladycarlotta hope you’re ok now?

And hurray @squirtlesmum!

Orville82 · 30/07/2018 18:44

SquirtlesMum I’m thrilled that everything seems ok.

I’m distinctly lacking a glow here too. Just a perma-starving, giddy, exhausted wreck here. I’m the same as angel0071987 though. Last time I had a boy and aside from the extra chin I gained, the hair on my head was great, my skin was clear and I only had to shave my legs once a week which was a hell of a relief with a giant summer baby belly and the only way to keep cool was to have my knees out!

HidCat · 30/07/2018 19:37

Has anyone looked at the Chinese gender prediction calendars? They were right for me last time and this time predict a girl so 🤞 😆

Wineandchoccy · 30/07/2018 20:33

HidCat yes it was right last time and predicts a boy this time

Sarahandduckarehigh · 30/07/2018 20:51

@Most improved so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself lovely.

@squirtlesmumagain fab news! So glad your little bean is being stubborn.

8+2 here and have had two days of constant nausea. Had enough of that now.
