Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

Hi can I join? Just found out I'm pregnant. Baby due 11th April going by period dates. This will be my third pregnancy. Although I lost my first baby at 6 months pregnant. Even though we were trying I didn't expect to fall pregnant so fast and feeling quite overwhelmed by the whole thing. Bloody hormones!

BeeKeeping · 01/08/2018 15:15

Have you shopped around @fluffy472? It seems like most of us have managed to find early scans around the £50-60 mark 🐝x

SpadesOfGlory · 01/08/2018 15:49

Hi Ladies, do you mind if I join?! Got my bfp 10 days ago and I think I'm due about 4th April Grin 5 weeks today!

My symptoms are coming and going...would that be normal enough for this stage? Sore boobs one day and fine the next. No sickness, but the week i got the bfp I was exhausted!

AislingIrish · 01/08/2018 16:19

Hi Ladies!

We have just found out we are expecting and due either 5th or 7th April! Super excited. We did ring the GP and they didnt ask me to come in for an appointment. They instead booked me in to see the midwife on 22nd August. Is this normal? I thought they would have wanted to see me beforehand? Ekkkk!

A x

AislingIrish · 01/08/2018 16:21

SpadesofGlory-I am the same. My symptoms keep coming and going. And absolutely exhausted! No sickness yet from me. Fingers crossed it morning sickness doesnt hit!

A x

DumbledoresSocks · 01/08/2018 17:09

@AislingIrish yes that's normal here. With my first pregnancy I went to see my GP and they looked at me like I was an idiot. I was at least expecting a leaflet or something!

My symptoms are coming and going too. I only have a faint line so far so I'm trying not to stress that the pregnancy isn't very strong.

DumbledoresSocks · 01/08/2018 17:11

Any news @Treaclepie19?

AwkwardAsAllGetout · 01/08/2018 17:44

How are you getting on treacle? Dh came back from work early again today as I was breaking down a bit. He convinced me to call the epu and they’ve said I need to do another test in a week and if it’s still positive they’ll scan me some time around next weekend. I’m not hopeful although I still haven’t had a great deal of blood, just when I wipe and my boobs have definitely deflated back to normal. I feel kind of resigned as I didn’t feel confident about this sticking from the start. I told dh I want to try again but god I don’t know if I can’t put us through it all again. I’m assuming we’re at the point now, 4 miscarriages in, where they’ll do further investigations so that’s something I suppose. Congratulations to all the newbies, wishing you all an easy, happy pregnancy x

DumbledoresSocks · 01/08/2018 18:06

Thinking of you @AwkwardAsAllGetout I can't begin to imagine how you must feel. There's still hope though. I've got everything crossed for you Thanks

BeeKeeping · 01/08/2018 18:10

Thinking of you @Treaclepie19 and @AwkwardAsAllGetout

Welcome SpadesOfGlory and @AislingIrish

The system where I am (Scotland) seems completely different! When I rang the GP last week to see what I was to do at only 4 weeks (having just got my BFP) they had me in the same day to see a Dr! Also wanted a urine sample (I was worried it would be negative and they’d think I was making it up! 🙈)

The midwife called me today as my results are back in and she’s booked me in for a clinic visit on Wednesday and then a home visit after that! Feel so well looked after ☺️

Fluffy475 · 01/08/2018 18:21

Hello to everyone that's joined today and thinking of you @Treaclepie19 and @AwkwardAsAllGetout hope you're both ok

Shopped around for scans and yep I just live in an expensive area but going to wait and see what the deal is when I see the midwife and go from there!

Told my boys and my mum yesterday! My boys are so excited and haven't stopped talking about it so glad we told them now. They both seem a lot relaxed, I think it helps they know there's nothing going on they need to worry about bless them!

Now got to try and keep my lips sealed until the end of sept at least!!

Braverthanweare · 01/08/2018 18:26

So the nausea has definitely hit now 🤢 trying to convince myself this means things are going well..

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2018 19:20

Sorry ladies, been trying to keep busy. Thank you for thinking of me.
This morning it was just brown blood/spotting and by lunch time it had stopped completely. Nothing since.

I went to the doctor again twice today. First the normal doctor just to see what she thought I should do (and to see if she'd send me for a scan at 6w, she wont)
And then the walk in for a possible uti.
No UTI but the nurse there said my positive was faint when she dipped. I'm worrying about that because I know it's early and it was 5pm after drinking all day but it was strong yesterday morning.
I hate being in limbo :(

If I don't have more blood I'll try and get the Dr or even contact epu for a scan.

Thinking of you awkward, you've had such a tough time ❤

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2018 19:21

Oh and should day DH has been a star and stayed home, took me out for lunch :)

I'm not feeling positive about it really. I've got no symptoms anymore.

coops333 · 01/08/2018 19:38

Hello! I am 6w today due 27th March, this is my second as I already have a 3 year old daughter. We have been trying 11 months so really excited especially as I am 40 next year ! Hiw are you all feeling? 😀

coops333 · 01/08/2018 19:39

Ps I know I am due end of March but that thread Has people too far ahead so hope you don’t mind! 😀

coops333 · 01/08/2018 19:42

Sorry Awkward I just read your post sorry to be so “excited” after what your going through I wouldn’t have posted if I had read it first - big hugs x

Footymum81 · 01/08/2018 20:10

@Treaclepie19 and @AwkwardAsAllGetout have been thinking of you both today, hope you get some answers soon, fingers crossed for you both xx
@fluffy475 I've been looking at scans local to me and I won't be able to afford an early one, will have to hang on til 12 weeks Sad DD wants to do cheerleading summer camp this month so that's my spare income gone!
Was completely different with DD as only found out at 10 weeks so no real wait for a scan that time. DH has also banned me from doing any more tests!

Fluffy475 · 01/08/2018 20:21

Welcome @coops333 don't worry about due dates....I'll be surprised if I last into April!! And snap re big birthday next year!!

@Treaclepie19 sorry today hasn't felt anymore positive, glad dh is looking after you xx

SpadesOfGlory · 01/08/2018 20:39

I got my booking appointment through today..28th August! Apparently I get a scan too, but DH won't be able to come due to work so I've booked a private early scan for the 16th August when I'll be 7 weeks-ish too. It was £89 But that was the going rate round here!

Newbie2703 · 01/08/2018 20:44

@coops333 I feel the same I'm late March but everyone is so early March in there. And could be late anyway Wink

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2018 22:07

Thank you ❤
Sorry for bringing you all down.
I just feel so confused. I'm really hoping it'll be ok but I probably shouldn't get my hopes up.

Pitterpatter01 · 01/08/2018 22:17

You are doing no such thing @Treaclepie19
Us ladies have to stick together and support one another Flowers
I’m praying that you have some good news x

Treaclepie19 · 01/08/2018 22:19

Thank you @Pitterpatter01

It's going to be a long wait... I'm just counting down to 6 weeks so I can try and have a scan. Fingers crossed its all settled down and just one of those things.

I reckon I may test on Saturday.

SpadesOfGlory · 01/08/2018 22:26

Really hope things work out for you @Treaclepie19! Flowers it's such a nerve wracking time x
