Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

Got a very obvious test today being 4 days late!

We have 4 girls already ❤ we was planning on trying to sway for a boy but that didnt happen instead we've fallen pregnant with a 6 day cut off x

My due date is 20th april according to my lmp 💗

What does a 4 day cut off mean @Mumto4girlies

And of course, congratulations and welcome! @Mumto4girlies ----

It means 6 days before ovulation is when we had sex.

We wanted to do it closer to ovulation in the hopes of increasing chances of getting a boy x

Does anyone have a 'feeling' as to what their baby is already? With DS I felt like I knew all along that he was a boy, so much so, I agreed with my husband that if it was a girl he could choose any name he wanted! I feel like I'm having a boy this time too x

I feel like this will be another girl as thats all Im used to 😂
We are being team green for the first time this time around x

Ive been pretty accurate guessing the sex. I think girl this time but I’m stressing to cause I have seen twins everywhere! My daughter stuffed a ballon in her jumper yesterday and said she’s having a girl and boy and you all here is all that knows I’m expecting 🙈

I’m a teacher too and so far I have nausea but not actual vomit. I hope it doesn’t start when term does!
Feel like it is a boy but can’t say why. We have even nicknamed the baby with a male nickname! Two days till our early scan . I will be 7+ 3 so hoping to get a good picture and actually see I’m pregnant! Feels a bit like it’s not really happening!

Funny you should say that @Gem7lou.. my auntie and cousin both went to see a fortune teller separately, and were both told they'd have news of twins in September.. then I was walking down the street with my friends at the weekend (who don't know I'm pregnant) and there was one sitting giving readings on the street, she asked me if I wanted a reading and I said no, she shouted that I was pregnant, I carried on walking and my friend turned around and she said 'tell your friend to come back', later we had to go back and she told me it was twin boys! I don't know how I feel about things like that and I'm sure she was shouting it to get my attention, but it was still freaky!

@gem7lou @spr1107 spooky! My mum is convinced I'm going to have twins- back in May we went on holiday with them and there was about 5 sets of twins on our flight! She kept pointing them out - the next month we got pregnant but had a chemical. This time my lines were so strong and DP laughed and said maybe it's twins 😂

Omg girls if I had twins it would take my head count up to 8 🤣 I do like even numbers thou 🙈 I’ve been told since I was 16 I’d have twins. My other half has asked if we can have 10 😭 so I don’t think im done yet either lol

I feel like we will have another boy.
My husband has joked that it will be twins. My mom has been pregnant with twins twice so you never know.

Hi everyone, I hope it's ok if I join? I got my BFP last Thursday :) I am due on the 26th April according to the NHS calculator. Very excited, this is my first!

@Gem7lou Well if you have two sets of twins that takes you straight up to 10 😂
How is it having a big family? Do they all get on relatively well?

This will be my first- DP says he wants a boy- I'm happy either way! Leaning slightly towards a girl but would love either (or one of each 😉)

I am due on the 18th April 2019.

I got my bfp 3 days ago when I was 3 days late.

I've got stomach cramps and feel queezy.
The stomach cramps are comforting to know something is happening.

However, I just want to see my mid wife already and I am not even 5 weeks yet. Two days to go until I am 5 weeks.

I have done a blood pressure test at home and mine is high so I am going to see my gp.

After 3.5yrs of trying we got our bfp on Sunday. I've had all sorts of symptoms - headache, nausea, backache, my whole body aching, cramps, metallic taste, sore books and now insomnia. The last few days if had between 3-5hrs sleep (hence me typing this at this time of the morning)
I'm terrified of miscarriage atm but I know if it happens there is nothing I can do. Luckily I work in a school so don't have work until September. I hope morning sickness isn't to bad if I do get it.

Interesting that some of you have a feelin about gender already! I have literally zero inclination either way. Not that I have any preference whatsoever either way.

Welcome @hailstone1 ! Sounds like we have the same sleeping patterns atm. I normally sleep until laaaate (like 1-2pm, work evenings usually), but can't stay asleep past 4am for the life of me now. The vivid dreams aren't helping lol.

I'll hold all my fingers and toes for everything going well for you! I can't help but worry too, but as you say, there's nothing we can do to change whatever will happen.

Hello everyone (again!) I'm tentatively hopping back on!!!

I ended up having an early miscarriage last month, but decided to TTC straight away. I had fertility acupuncture again, and it seems to have worked because I got a BFP this morning. Due date would be at the very end of April. Obviously, I'm veeeeeery cautiously optimistic because of what happened last time, but I want to be happy and try to enjoy this!

My DH is crushed as well bless him. It's more annoying as well that there isn't a test to confirm it. If I do a test it's still going to be positive and because I was 5+2 i doubt they'll do a scan but I'm going to ring Drs today. @LulaRose how do you feel? It says online to wait at least 2 months(I think because of mental health) but loads of people seem to catch on straight away after. I feel crushed about this don't get me wrong but now we no we can get pregnant (it's been doubted for 5 years) I really want to try again. X
