Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

@Treaclepie19 yes same! Even fluctuates in one day, this morning was slow, this afternoon fast, if you know what I mean! Sorry TMI! Glad to know it's normal though!!

sachabloom · 11/08/2018 23:39

Anyone having super weird dreams?

cookielove · 11/08/2018 23:45

I got my Bfp today! Dipping my toes in!

AmyRhodes · 12/08/2018 03:21

I was just about to post this question @sachabloom !!! My dreams are seriously wacky at the moment.

Congrats @cookielove and welcome! Is it your first? X

AmyRhodes · 12/08/2018 03:23

@MB34 I will try - thanks!

@organised5 How do I DM you to join the FB group?

Footymum81 · 12/08/2018 05:58

I second the weird dreams, mine have been crazy and SO realistic! Sleep patterns are all over the place too. Worked 6.30-5 yesterday got home, had dinner and fell asleep. Now been awake since 4.
Nausea has been driving me insane. It's not quite enough to make me run to the toilet but just below that point so I'm constantly on edge.

cookielove · 12/08/2018 08:01

Sorry I posted and then promptly fell asleep! Although up super early today! And it's my lie in today!

Back round for me is:

I have a little boy who is just about to turn 4 on Monday Shock

We have been trying since he was 2 so this has been a long time coming Smile

Had a very faint bfp yesterday and it's a bit clearer today Smile

Due date is 18th of April

Congratulations @cookielove - that’s great news! Xx

Annie264 · 12/08/2018 11:44

@Newbie2703 ahhh that's amazing thankyou!

NorthernGirl1991 · 12/08/2018 12:54

Ok so story of today so far: I’m so tired that I’ve had a ‘morning nap’, felt generally a bit sick and tearful and my tummy muscles feel really weird! Is anyone else with me today?

Treaclepie19 · 12/08/2018 13:00

@NorthernGirl1991 yep I'm with you.
Me and my son are curled up on the sofa watching Moana because I've had a hard morning of eating breakfast and watching TV 😂

Dani7 · 12/08/2018 13:15

Hi everyone!

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant a few days ago. We have been trying for a while and were told it could be difficult to conceive due to my PCOS so we are absolutely ecstatic!

Struggling to work out my due date though and how far along, as my last period was 8th July. But my cycle length has been different every single time for the last 6 months! My last cycle length was 37 days... so depending on which calculator I use, my due date varies by quite a bit! But definitely April! I took my test as I had some spotting which I have never experienced before and was surprised to see it was a very definite positive. If my cycle was 37 days again then this would have been 5 days before the missed period. I have since taken 2 more positive tests to double check Grin

Any advice on how many weeks I might be? It is my first pregnancy and trying to work out what to expect when! Luckily I am off work at the moment (school hols) but go abroad next week. Not had midwife appointment yet so feeling a bit overwhelmed and worried about what to expect!

Congratulations to all on here who have had the same fantastic news! D x

monkerina · 12/08/2018 13:28

Welcome new ladies! @Dani I have similar issues with irregular periods- my last period was 1st June but I know I ovulated on 13th July, making me 6+2 today (when you ovulate is counted as 2 weeks pregnant as its "normally" halfway through a "normal" 28 day cycle). You would be quite unlikely to see a faint positive test less than 10 days post ovulation (so 3+3 at that point) if that helps? Try not to worry too much, they'll give you a due date at your 12 week scan that may or may not match anyway! With DS I knew exactly when I ovulated but was told he was half a week younger at scan!

QueenOfCatan · 12/08/2018 13:35

So glad it's not just me who is so tired, I'm really shattered pft haven't even got the energy to play computer games with dh while DD naps Sad so I'm just knitting and watching.
I can't stop eating either, I was like this for the whole first trimester with DD!

I'm having very realistic dreams, though I can't remember them Confused

@Dani7 they'll give you a rough due date based on 28 days at first and it'll be amended at scans, my cycles with DD were 35 days so the date I was given didn't line up with mine until scans showed her size.

nathaliemargareta · 12/08/2018 13:55

Hi everyone!

Looks like I'll be joining you guys. I'm 23, and on summer holiday from uni atm. Removed my IUD after 6 years in January, and have since (foolishly) been a bit too lax about contraception. This pregnancy is definitely unplanned, but now that it's hopefully happening - very exciting and scary and welcome. SO is absolutely buzzing about it as well, bless him.

I have no clue when my last period was, but I've had it since we moved house... So sometime between 23/6-7/7 haha. Tested with a digital yesterday and got 3+. So should be 5-6 weeks, right? Booked in for my booking appointment 4th of September, which feels like it is forever away ngl. I've been feeling mostly okay, just insanely exhausted. Napping non-stop. I work in a pub, and do 10h shifts quite often, and they're absolutely killing me now.

organised5 · 12/08/2018 14:39

@AmyRhodes I'm not actually sure as I'm only receiving the DMS not sending! You can't do it from the app though but I think in a normal browser you click some dots by my post / name and it says PM. One of the other ladies may be able to explain better than that x

organised5 · 12/08/2018 14:39

Oh and welcome to the latest newbies 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

Dani7 · 12/08/2018 15:45

Thanks for your replies!

If we go with the traditional cycle then that gives me the date of 14th April!

So pleased I’ve found this forum. I’m so excited about being pregnant but also nervous as it’s such early days. Told my parents yesterday as it will be their first grandchild. We intend on telling the in-laws soon too but they’ve had family over this weekend - one of his cousins has just announced this weekend that she’s 24 weeks pregnant! Shock Me and my husband were just grinning at each other, knowing we had our own news!

toomanyflatwhites · 12/08/2018 16:02

Just started having some spotting and am absolutely freaking out...had a meltdown on DP and sure this is the beginning of the end - which would make this officially the shittest holiday ever...a week of a hideous sinus infection, a miscarriage, and shipping DPs beloved GM off to a nursing home. Feeling totally morose, sorry...
I know it doesn't always have to mean this is the end but given I just went to the bathroom again 20 minutes later and instead of wiping pink it's now more red I'm sure this is my period coming. I guess I just have to wait and see...

thatduck · 12/08/2018 16:22

Hellooo,
I'm a it late to the party but got a positive today, due 18th April and already have a little boy who will be 3 in nov.
Do we have a fb? I get lost on mn

NorthernGirl1991 · 12/08/2018 16:38

@toomanyflatwhites Thinking if you and hoping everything turns out ok xx

Treaclepie19 · 12/08/2018 17:01

@toomanyflatwhites I have my fingers crossed for you. Remember I've had red and it just stopped. We're yet to know if it's all ok but it didn't turn into a full period.
I hope all is okay x

ashley992 · 12/08/2018 17:15

@toomanyflatwhites Hope everything is ok for you. Xx

monkerina · 12/08/2018 17:35

Thinking of you @toomanyflatwhites, 25% of women bleed during pregnancy x
