April 2019 Babies

LulaRose · 20/07/2018 11:16

Hello everyone! I thought I'd start a thread for babies due in April 2019 as I couldn't see an existing post for it.

I'm 29
I have a DS who is 12 months
Due 3 April with DC2

I'm only 3+2 so extremely early! I can't quite believe it but I got a line on a test at 8dpo, and the line is getting darker. I'm very excited, but also very nervous.

I love checking in with what everyone has been upto during the day... Busy thread!

I'm struggling with a zero lack of patience 😬 my poor kids were almost sent to nursery and they don't even go to nursery 😂
Welcome by newbies.

Definitely interested in a fb group, much easier to follow than here I reckon.

Annie264 · 06/08/2018 21:25

Thanks Treacle!

I didn't think I was having any problems with my emotions until tonight, I literally cried for 15 minutes over a jacket potato! 🙈

Also I know what you mean about the crisps, I can't get enough wotsits!!

Treaclepie19 · 06/08/2018 21:30

Shall we set a group up? Who's the most organised? :p
Though I may end up leaving you anyway after my scan... I hope not.

Tonight... I had waffle, gravy and stuffing sandwiches 🙈
I then attempted to eat some tomatoes and pepper to make up for it... that made me feel sick 😂

Annie264 · 06/08/2018 21:37

That sounds gross Treacle! But as long as you enjoyed it that's the main thing!!!

Treaclepie19 · 06/08/2018 21:39

Oh my gosh it was so good. It looked gross too. I just don't care 😂

Annie264 · 06/08/2018 21:46

Haha I'm sure pregnant women have eaten worse at some point! 🤣

gothicsprout · 06/08/2018 22:11

No real symptoms here yet which is a bit disconcerting, but I think it took until 7-8 weeks to start feeling different last time so maybe the nausea joy is still to come?

Am also still breastfeeding DD1 this time round so I wonder if that's affecting symptoms too due to different balance of hormones circulating.

organised5 · 06/08/2018 22:14

Facebook group would be good! I'm happy to set it up if someone tells me what I need to do 😂 presume it needs to be secret or closed so no fb friends can see we're in it.

I've got the emotions too... Walked in the door from work today and burst into tears!

organised5 · 06/08/2018 22:23

Think it works if I set up a secret Facebook group and then you PM me your email address so I can add you.

Treaclepie19 · 06/08/2018 22:24

Sounds good :)

Fluffy475 · 06/08/2018 22:50

I cried at the weekend just walking into a
Church 😂😂 and because I couldn't eat Thai food on Saturday because of my stupid mouth ulcer!!! Luckily it's not painful anymore so can get back to what i appear to be craving at the moment which is anything spicy!!

CF question....it is supposed to be like that and it will be now for the duration, I looked it up last week as I'd forgotten it goes like that and got concerned. It's got a special name and is your body protecting that area from bacteria ☺️☺️ hashtag miss know it all hashtag obsessed with looking things up 😂😂😂

Fluffy475 · 06/08/2018 22:50

And how do you PM someone??

Tootyfrooty35 · 07/08/2018 00:03

Click on the three dots at the right @fluffy 475 😊

@gothicsprout I'm feeding a toddler too 😊 mine was two in June. I fed trough pregnancy last time and tandemmed too. Feel free to question me! How old is yours?
I'm waiting for the nausea too, I remember 8-10 weeks being particularly rough last time 😬

firsttimemomtobe · 07/08/2018 06:09

Today is my first day off work after 8 days on (only my second day off in a stretch of 16!) yet I've been wide awake since 5am! I'm so tired but sleep is not happening. I think it's also nerves as we have our private early 6 week scan today. I'm so worried and nervous, hoping that everything will be okay.

I think I went slightly mad last night with the pregnancy brain. Called the bank up crying about a payment of £400 that I didn't recognise. Swore blind to her on the phone I didn't have a clue what it was. Then realised it was a payment on our sofas! Couldn't have been more embarrassed.

My mom and sister & our mutual friends are coming over tonight for a takeaway catch up evening but I've got to keep it quiet as we're not telling my family until tomorrow when my dad, brother in law & nan are also here. Luckily my sister suggested PJs as the dress code.

Hello ladies, congratulations to all of you!Flowers I am 4 weeks 6 days, due date 10 April 2019. First pregnancy. My morning sickess has just started - nausea today and I threw up some water yesterday. I took a test this morning and the test line is darker than the control line. I am trying to keep active and exercising although toning down a little my routine - I was a HIIT enthusiast, now mostly jogging and spinning....

Braverthanweare · 07/08/2018 07:23

Facebook would be a lot easier easier to reply to people and keep track of convos so count me in!

Monipop84 · 07/08/2018 07:23

@organised5 BFP on first attempt too! DH and I are both 34 so we weren't expecting such luck. We are still a bit overwhelmed - in our minds this was going to take a year or so Grin

organised5 · 07/08/2018 07:42

@Monipop84 ahh congratulations! Yes we were mentally prepared for it to take a while so it was a shock getting the BFP immediately!!

Right ladies, Facebook group is up and running - keep PMing me your email addresses to be added x

DumbledoresSocks · 07/08/2018 07:46

Will read properly later but also up for a fb group

Nulanoo · 07/08/2018 07:54

I’ve tested this morning and there’s no line at all not even a feint one

Newbie2703 · 07/08/2018 08:08

Has anybody got any tips on simple healthy snacks for when your feeling really sick. All I'm managing is toast at the minute and I'm so worried I'm not getting enough goodness !

toomanyflatwhites · 07/08/2018 08:13

Morning all, can I join? Got a BFP on Saturday so EDD is anywhere between 10 and 13th April depending on which chart I look at. Have got a DD who was 2 in May and I just turned 40 so a bit stunned this is happening now, and also can't believe it's real yet! I don't dare take another test in case it's not positive Hmm Tested on Saturday morning before heading to the airport for 3 weeks with the in laws in France, so barely any time to process it and now I'm here refusing wine and wondering if we can keep it quiet.
Sorry to all of you having a difficult time, I just found the thread this morning and read it all through whilst DP and DD are still sleeping (!)

Treaclepie19 · 07/08/2018 08:26

@Nulanoo how far along are you? Could it be that thing where the placenta is taking over and so tests become negative? Have you had bleeding?
Sorry for all the questions x

Welcome new ladies :)

@organised5 I've sent my email :)

We were first cycle trying too. A big shock considering it took longer the last 2 times.

firsttimemomtobe · 07/08/2018 08:38

How do I PM my email? I use the app....

Z x

Nulanoo · 07/08/2018 08:48

I don’t think so I think it’s very early I don’t think I’ve even missed my period yet
