New thread ladies... not long until the first 12 week scans.... mines a week tomorrow!

Thanks @clairehr. Been a big day for DH and I as we have decided to tell everyone. I’m 11+1 but had scan at 10 weeks where baby was measuring fine with strong hb. Then harmony test showed everything looked fine as well. We were too excited so announced it this afternoon. My friends are so happy for us which is nice! How are you getting on? X

Anyone else get days where they just feel really nervous and can't shake the feeling of worry off

I can't remember who posted about boob pain yesterday. Mine went for a couple of weeks so I didn't reply....... but back again today (10w today) ouchie!!!!

Think I have a urine infection 😫 no pain when weeing yet but low lying discomfort in that area. GP on Monday?

So yesterday I booked a last minute dating scan for tomorrow morning. I'm around 11/12 weeks and haven't received my NHS scan letter yet plus it's not guaranteed my husband could come with me to it and wouldn't want to go without him tbh for our first proper scan. I'm hoping the scan tomorrow can give us an idea on the nuchal fold as I'd like to tell more friends and family soon, obviously the proper results will come through after my NHS scan but ( touch wood) the midwife said I was very low risk due to my age, history, health etc so I'm hoping that everything is ok. you never know though which makes me a bit nervous but I'll see how I feel tomorrow.
I'm excited though to know a proper date and see it wriggling around!

@Since2016 Yep, doctors Monday, get that cleared with some antibiotics 😊 meanwhile male sure you're drinking lots to start flushing it through (literally!!)

@bubblybrit So pleased that everyone is happy for you, what a day, how exciting! We're doing good. After the bleeding episode, touch wood, baby is behaving. Have12w scan a week Tuesday, but have told close family and the people I work closely with at work as I can no longer fit in my uniform 😂

Help please ladies. I am 11 + 5. Have not had a scan yet but previously no bleeding or indication anything is wrong (other than those low symptom days we all have and worry about)

I just went to the toilet and when I wiped there was some blood. It was definitely red rather than brown but sort of diluted and there was just one swipe and that is it so far. Obviously now worried there will be more.

It’s 10:38 PM so not sure whether to call 111 or wait til the morning. Not sure they would do anything now anyway?

@AliceRR when I had this with my previous pregnancy I had to wait until the next day to be scanned as there was no-one around in the evening. You could always ring 111 for some advice or your labour ward but I doubt you will get much reassurance tonight. Is this around the time your period would be due? I have heard you can get some bleeding at those times.

@craftymum01 thanks for replying. I’m not sure when my period would be TBH but I haven’t had this so far since my BFP.

I just called the midwife emergency line and spoke to a MW. I told her I had a little bit of blood and slight cramping but she said it doesn’t sound like anything to worry about but to go to A&E or fall EPU on Monday and they can advise or might scan me if worried.

Yes I’m worried... just hope there is no more bleeding to come. I am cramping slightly so hope that doesn’t become anything more 🙄

I would be worried too. I went to a&e when I had it and they did loads of blood tests and stuff on me. I hope it doesn't develop. So many women experience bleeding in pregnancy and go on to have lovely healthy babies
