Sitting in a car garage waiting for my car to be fixed feeling rather 🤢 at the smell in here 🙈

UndercoverLauren · 28/07/2018 08:34

@Baby160P When my MiL was pregnant she craved the smell of petrol!

hayleyfx · 28/07/2018 08:36

Thank you so much for all of the support and lovely words. You’re all so great and I’m glad your pregnancies are going well. I definitely do have an incredible partner so I’m beyond thankful for that and a holiday is definitely on the cards, to clear our minds. I’ll let you all know how I get on before leaving this thread. Wish I could stay here but it’s not my time I guess. Thanks again ladies ❤️

@Blondienut I’m so sorry you went through this too. It’s devastating. Thank you for the advice hun 💕

Baby160P · 28/07/2018 08:42

@UndercoverLauren that defiantly won't be me 😂 I normally like the smell but 🤢

emoji · 28/07/2018 08:46

@hayleyfx I'm so sorry to read your news. So utterly heartbreaking and unfair. You are absolutely making the right decision though and it's better to go ahead with the termination now rather than in the later stages of pregnancy. I don't know if it will be erpc or induced labour but I wish you a speedy recovery, a lovely holiday, and all the best for the future xxxxxx

buthaina · 28/07/2018 08:48

@Koalatom1 I want to join too. But I don't know how to DM here :/

Yakadee · 28/07/2018 08:52

I'd be happy to join the fb group too please xx

Fiep · 28/07/2018 08:52

@Buthaina @Camsie30 press the three dots underneath Koalatom's message and choose PM :)

Yellow100 · 28/07/2018 08:53

@hayleyfx I just wanted to say how sorry I am that you have to go through this. I hope you have the support of many loved ones around you at this tough time. Wishing you all the best for a future h&h pregnancy. Xxx

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 28/07/2018 08:55

@hayleyfx

I’m so sorry, thinking of you and wishing you all the best.

MakeLemonade · 28/07/2018 08:59

So sorry to hear your news Hayley, take good care xx

lanalawr · 28/07/2018 09:10

@hayleyfx I'm so sorry to hear your news. You sound incredibly strong and seem to have a very supportive partner with you too. I hope next week goes as smoothly as possible and you manage to get some time and space for the two of you on holiday.

hayley013 · 28/07/2018 10:02

@hayleyfx Sending lots of love to you xx

emalady · 28/07/2018 10:31

@hayleyfx so sorry to hear your news. Glad you have support. Hope the next few weeks are bearable and you have a well deserved holiday.

emalady · 28/07/2018 10:33

I had my 12 week scan yesterday, all ok except no nuchal fold as the little one refused to get in the right position. Booked in for the quad test but decided today to book a harmony scan. The soonest we can get is next week and a 2 hour drive away. Think it's better for my peace of mind though.

Baby160P · 28/07/2018 11:54

I don't have 3 dots to message or am I going mad?

Baby160P · 28/07/2018 11:55

@emalady lovely pic!

What's made you want to do the harmony scan?

And silly question maybe but how do the make the baby move to be in the right position or do you just hope?

PonyPals · 28/07/2018 11:57

Had the Harmony results and they all came back good. Such a relief.
Sorry to hear you are going through such a hard time @hayleyfx

UndercoverLauren · 28/07/2018 12:15

Is it normal to suddenly start feeling moody and tired at 11 weeks? I've had it a little bit before but the past couple of days it's been pretty bad.

I thought the placenta started taking over now so I'd get less symptoms :/

lanalawr · 28/07/2018 12:26

@Baby160P I get the impression that a lot of it is hope. I remember for dd she wasn't in a great position. They got me to lie on my side for a bit and then tried again. We did that a couple of times before they were able to take the measurement. Not sure if that was just luck though.

@emalady Lovely picture! Hope the wait doesn't feel too long until the harmony test.

I had my 12 week scan yesterday too and was moved back two days. Edd is now 8th Feb.

DragonFlew · 28/07/2018 12:58

@Baby160P they got me to go for a walk and tried again after half an hour. The other thing was when I was laying down for the scan lift my hips and shake - but it didn't work so I was offered the quad test too! 😂

emalady · 28/07/2018 13:05

@baby160p they got me to roll on my side, jump a few times and then go for a walk but managed to get it from doing squat jumps to lying face down. Without the nuchal fold I don't really want to wait for the quad scan and it's less reliable. I wanted another scan anyway. Kinda want to know the sex too.

DragonFlew · 28/07/2018 14:39

When does the harmony test need to be done by? I thought it was 10 weeks? I'd love one but can't justify the money!

PrincessPunzie · 28/07/2018 16:09

Just saying a tentative hello on this thread. I'm due a little boy on February 3rd. I had my CVS results on Friday and all is well with the baby which is a fantastic relief after having ended my previous pregnancy in January due to multiple chromosomal problems. I'm a day under 13 weeks and looking forward to finally enjoying my pregnancy. I have one living child.

I just wanted to say to @hayleyfx that I have been so sorry to read your news (having lurked a bit here in recent weeks) and I would second contacting ARC if you feel that you're not coping in any way - 2018 has been a dreadful year for me and I would not have gotten through it without them. You sound like a very strong lady to me and you will get through this.

I am very bad at following Mumsnet threads but would love to join the Facebook group if there is one? I joined one for my son back in 2016 and have made some wonderful friendships from it.

bubblybrit · 28/07/2018 17:03

@DragonFlew. The earliest my clinic can carry out the harmony test is 10 weeks but they offer it up until 22 weeks.

Got my harmony results back last night. Everything is great. Also found out that we are having a girl. Would have been delighted either way given that baby is doing well but nice to know the sex as feel closer to her now as she really feels like a little person.....not sure if that makes sense!!
