@Baby160P I think that what it is once your not at work and have the chance to relax your body is like nope your going to feel rotten all weekend but I guess that's good for us with our jobs to have the weeks where we do feel ok lol

DragonFlew · 25/07/2018 18:33

I'm 9+3 and yesterday I felt amazing! No nausea no nothing! Today I woke up and felt the same and was ready to take on the world. Had a great day. Came home at 4.30 and was the most sick I've ever been. 😂
@Baby160P I'm sure it'll return for you too! Although as others have said placenta begins to take over now so hopefully we are over the worst of it!

DragonFlew · 25/07/2018 18:34

@FrowningFlamingo hope your scan goes well! Enjoy seeing your little bub!

FrowningFlamingo · 25/07/2018 18:43

All fine :) downs risk 1:6000 just on scan alone so that's reassuring too. Full results next week sometime.

@Alicejj8x especially when the kids wanted to go swimming today. Was lovely in this heat!!!

Baby160P · 25/07/2018 18:52

@DragonFlew I've only felt super sick once so been pretty lucky. Just heart burn, headaches and tiredness. As long as baby is ok I'm happy with everything!

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 19:08

Symptoms do return when your least expecting
Them. Just had dinner and bam felt so sick and then was sick.

Funny things these symptoms.

Congrats on your scan @FrowningFlamingo

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 19:08

@Baby160P
Ohh nice day for you then lol

craftymum01 · 25/07/2018 19:21

Actually feel like I have my energy back today. For the first time since my bfp I have not wanted to lay on the bed and sleep all day. Managed to spring clean two rooms! God I hope this lasts, makes me feel so much better!

FrowningFlamingo · 25/07/2018 19:23

Thanks Alicejj :)

baby160P I def feel worse on the weekends and my day off. I think work is a distraction to be honest. As much as occasionally I wished I could just be at home feeling sorry for myself rather than trying to plough through!!

bubblybrit · 25/07/2018 19:52

Ah what a lovely scan @FrowningFlamingo! Great news that everything looks good so far 😀

LookingAtTheStars89 · 25/07/2018 20:53

Is anyone else struggling to get enough calories? From the looks of my wee I'm in ketosis (body yumming it's own reserves) which would be great of I was dieting lol but no so great right now!!

Baby160P · 25/07/2018 21:02

@FrowningFlamingo lovely scan pic ❤️

I agree I feel poop most evenings and weekends.

Leonora94 · 25/07/2018 22:30

@FrowningFlamingo that’s great news! How far along did they put you on the scan? Mines next Tuesday but I think I’m going to be too early to really see anything!

FrowningFlamingo · 25/07/2018 22:35

According to LMP I'm exactly eleven weeks but my period was weird and a bit stop start and I've been using that date as the most likely but it could have been a few days before and he said I could well be +2/3 fro the scab. Which would make sense - especially as I got my BFP at 3 +3! I'll see what they say at my proper sayings scan but I doubt they can say 100% even then!

Susannach · 26/07/2018 06:02

@hayleyfx Just checking in for the first time in a few days and wanted to send big hugs to you. All the very best for tomorrow. You sound amazing and so so strong Flowers

Susannach · 26/07/2018 06:08

@Lookingatthrstars89 Ketosis is not bloody likely in my case! I’ve been feeling absolutely crap, especially this week and last (currently 10+2); carbs and cheese are the only things that settle my stomach for a minute or two!

I am a bit worried that my diet has taken a steep turn for the worse since this nausea started, but I was the same in my last two pregnancies and was able to eat normally again once it subsided around 14-16 weeks. Fingers crossed it will follow the same pattern this time. I don’t know how ladies who have sickness throughout the whole 9 months keep their sanity! I forget every time how grim this bit is. Even more sure that we’re done after this baby now!

fizzledays · 26/07/2018 06:26

I'm now 10+4 and nausea has eased massively the last 3 days - almost got out overnight! Maybe also partly because I've figured out what I can and can't eat. Anything with sauces is a no go...so weird!!!
Lunches are my biggest struggle!

Leonora94 · 26/07/2018 07:36

@FrowningFlamingo ah okay I should be close to 11 weeks so hopefully will get a clear pic too! xx

emalady · 26/07/2018 08:04

I'm definitely having too much rather than too little, all about the beige foods still. Generally really hungry at lunch and more nauseous in the evening, gave in and had burger King last night and it was so good. I thought I was doing better but yesterday I vomited at work for the first time, bang on 12 weeks. Hopefully it is getting better. Scan tomorrow.

twiglet · 26/07/2018 08:33

Urghhh I feel like a idiot and feel like crap! I have a coop iced latte drink in the morning its the only thing which seems to settle down my neasea. I forgot to grab one this morning and the shop had run out. Tried a substitute nope no good now sat at my desk feeling like crap and very sick. It's going to be a long day!

Alicejj8x · 26/07/2018 09:13

Such a long and hot day ahead. I have 0 motivation today the tiredness has really come
Back.
I'm 10w1d and feeling abit better so far. Abit of nausea here & there. OH wants a private scan Monday as we have the week off I'm super scared and just feel like nothing will be there even thou our last scan was last Wednesday and everything was perfect. Does anyone else just work thereself up over nothing

fizzledays · 26/07/2018 09:16

All the time @Alicejj8x! We had a scan at 6.5 weeks and then at 8.5 weeks...then decided to wait until 12 weeks but now everyday I'm like "oh god is everything still ok in there".
I almost wish early scans just weren't possible and we just had to wait it out like women for the past 1000's of years did. Too much information out there now I think making us all obsess!!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/07/2018 09:18

Don't get me wrong ladies, what I am actually eating is crap lol (aero mousse and kit Kat 😂) but I'm just not managing enough of it :-( our metabolism's speed up during pregnancy too from what I can remember so that doesn't help much!

LookingAtTheStars89 · 26/07/2018 09:20

@fizzledays. I'm the same! I think it's because I had a missed miscarriage last year so it's keeping me on edge. Getting to 12 weeks won't ease it for me this time either - I'll be happier at 20 weeks. We haven't told anyone in real life and plan on keeping it to ourselves for as long as possible!
