@CarlyJayne1987 snap with the sickness and UTI. One round of antibiotics hasn’t cleared it up either but keep missing the 5 minute time slot to call the GP and get an appointment to get more :(

CarlyJayne1987 · 24/07/2018 23:33

@powkin it's awful isn't it. I did a urine test over a week ago and it's just come to light now. I thought it was just things shifting (which it is too!!) But it didn't hurt to wee just back ache.

Hoping this clears up for us both x

clairehr · 25/07/2018 05:50

Welcome @CarlyJayne87 H+H pregnancy to you! I have 12 week scan in 2 weeks too, so excited!

Baby160P · 25/07/2018 10:04

Is anyone else 9-10 weeks with no symptoms except tiredness?

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/07/2018 10:30

No Baby160p I'm 9+1 and feel hideous. Sickness has gotten way worse since about 8+4.

You've had a scan recently haven't you? Honestly, just enjoy it!!! I'm so, so grateful to be pregnant, but I'm really not enjoying my life at the min. I'm having time off sick from work, doing nothing all weekend but worst of all I'm barely able to do anything with 2.5 year old DS. I haven't taken him anywhere on my own since I was about 5 weeks. It sucks.

CarlyJayne1987 · 25/07/2018 10:35

Don't symptoms normally subside about9=10 weeks ??

I haven't thrown up yesterday it's like a mini miracle..although I do still feel crap lol

Celebelly · 25/07/2018 10:38

I've felt largely fine since 10 weeks and had our 12-week scan on Monday and saw a perfect wriggly little bean. 8-10 weeks was when I felt the worst, but everyone is different. Now I just feel tired and have sore boobs (oh and am insanely hungry!). Nausea is pretty much entirely gone.

UndercoverLauren · 25/07/2018 11:05

Just got my scan date through for the 8th August Shock This will be our first one so I'm really excited/nervous to see what's happening inside me. There's still a bit of me that doesn't quite believe I'm pregnant, despite multiple BFPs and the nausea.

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/07/2018 11:29

Celebelly so glad to hear you felt better from 10 weeks. I'm starting to think I never will!

Quick poll, anyone who felt better at 10 weeks raise your hand?! And anyone who didn't?

Picklesandpies · 25/07/2018 11:37

Thought I might be feeling a bit better at 11 weeks but was so sick again last night and I'm 12 weeks today. Totally grim. Now I am about to go swimming to a pool in my husband's home country and I'm going to have to get naked in the shower with my sister in law and lots of other strangers (not so bothered about strangers) - feel a bit self conscious given that stomach just looks blobby and boobs fairly out there (for me anyway!) Not totally what I fancy...!

hayley013 · 25/07/2018 11:46

@hayleyfx sending lots of love to you, really hoping it's nothing to worry about, you try and rest your mind as much as poss ❤️

IndiX · 25/07/2018 11:54

@Lookingforadvice123 I actually started feeling my worse from around 9/10 weeks before that was bad nausea but for the last week or so I've actually been vomiting once or twice a day. Hoping it stops soon as I'm coming up to 11/12 weeks now x

lanalawr · 25/07/2018 12:25

@IndiX That sounds similar to my first pregnancy. Only one day of nausea but vomiting started at around 10-12 weeks and lasted until around 20-22 weeks I think. It wasn't bad for me luckily as it was generally once a day when I first brushed my teeth. I'm wondering if this one may go the same way. I had nausea in the beginning this time and was sick a couple of times but that stopped a few weeks ago. I'm now 12 weeks based on LMP and things are making me gag and retch now when they didn't before.

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/07/2018 12:28

Boo. 9-10 was my worst with DS so I'm still hoping this is my worst week and by this time next week it might have eased. But my nausea has already been different this pregnancy so I'm not all that confident Sad

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 12:35

Yes I am feeling suprisingly Better today @Baby160P I am 10 weeks today

I do panic so so much that I'm feeling ok and have been feeling ok-ish the past 2 days with nausea here & there mildly. We had a scan last Wednesday and everything was perfect so I am hoping things are still ok in there

I think around 10 weeks is when you do start to feel abit normal And symptoms can ease up due to the placenta but still worrying isn't it.

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 12:37

Feeling ok so far today am 10 weeks so is this the time when symptoms can start to ease off abit.

I just worry so much had last scan a week ago today and everything was perfect. Just worry As I'm having one of those I don't feel pregnant type of days lol even thou I had nausea yday

clairehr · 25/07/2018 12:40

So far I've felt my worse from weeks 7-10, it's starting to ease up a little at the moment, still heaving and nauseous, but only early morning and evening.

maxiflump1 · 25/07/2018 12:49

@Lookingforadvice123 I was worse between 7-10 weeks. Am 12 weeks tomorrow and have largely felt ok for the last 10 days bar tiredness and sore boobs.

hayleyfx · 25/07/2018 12:54

Thank you all again 💕 really grateful for the support 😊 I have an appointment scheduled for 12:15pm on Friday, will have scan first to confirm what they saw at hospital yesterday. Not feeling hopeful, they were really concerned with the size of the head and I think it’s a sign of something terrible. Still clinging onto the tiniest bit of hope but preparing for the worst. Will let you all know how I get on, hope you’re all doing okay and the sickness isn’t too bad x

IndiX · 25/07/2018 12:54

Yes to the sore boobs!! They've only really started hurting the last couple of days whereas with my DD it was my first symptom before bfp!
They are so tender I can feel my top or bra rub against them as I'm walking around🙈😫

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 12:59

@hayleyfx
I have everything crossed for
You Hun xxx

FrowningFlamingo · 25/07/2018 15:53

I'm 11 weeks now and feeling much better this week - though I was never especially bad. I'm very nervous about my scan this evening even though I have no reason to be really.

Baby160P · 25/07/2018 15:53

@Lookingforadvice123 yes we had a scan Sunday and heart rate good etc.

Just curious as lots of people posting about being sick and I wondered if I am alone.

Alicejj8x · 25/07/2018 16:00

@Baby160P
I haven't been sick properly since the weekend but defo gagging a lot and feel sick

Baby160P · 25/07/2018 16:37

@Alicejj8x I was like that Saturday. Seem to be worse at weekends but I'm no sure if it's because I'm so busy at work I just get on with it 🤔 xx
