New thread ladies... not long until the first 12 week scans.... mines a week tomorrow!

@hayleyfx I'm so sorry you've had such worrying news. Hope you get some answers soon. Obviouly you didn't want to be transferred but I had my DD in Aberdeen and it's a great maternity hospital so I hope they give you the support and comfort you need atm

Aberdeen is my nearest maternity hospital too and friends have always said good things about it too so hopefully they can give you the answers you need quickly x

Oh hayleyx that's so worrying, I'm so sorry you've had this news. Try and stay positive, they have to be very cautious so it may come to nothing significant xx

@hayleyfx I echo what others have said. Aberdeen is my closest maternity hospital the consultants and staff there are very good from friends feedback.

@hayleyfx I'm so sorry you are going through this. We had a potential problem identified at our 20w scan with DS and the wait for further tests etc was awful. I know it's hard but try to stay positive if you can and stay away from google. I hope you don't have to wait too long for further tests and the outcome is positive. Thinking of you x

I had some bright red bleeding earlier today and obviously had a huge panic....the epu couldn't fit me in til Thursday but I managed to get a private scan this afternoon. Everything was fine 2 healthy babies with strong heartbeats ❤️❤️ seeing the bleeding made me realise just how much I have actually got used to the thought of twins as I was petrified that I had lost one or both. The scan couldn't find any reason for the bleeding and it's stopped now so obviously just one of those things. Probably not the last panic that these two will cause me!

@MrsY87 What a worry! Seems a couple of us are growing tinkers in there, causing us worry already! So beautiful seeing two babies in there 😍

Thank you all so much for the support. It really means a lot to me ❤️ You’re all so great! I’ve been referred to Aberdeen hospital immediately so hopefully will have an appointment this week or next. They seemed to be most concerned about Spina Bifida. Really struggling to take it in but my OH has been amazing, he’s my rock and is keeping me strong. I hope by some miracle it’s nothing serious and bub will be okay, fingers crossed. Congrats to everyone who has had a scan today and good luck to all with upcoming scans. Wishing you all the best of luck x

Due feb 19 - approx the 18th!

12 week scan in 2 weeks - nervous! have had 2 scans at 6 and 8 weeks

Sick as a dog, have a UTI and a bad temper
