Alocejj8x nope not weeing more than usual! I think I did very early on, 4/5/6 weeks, I think that's hormone related. But I'm not now. I've always had a good bladder, and I have a retroverted uterus which means at this stage it still tips back, so I wonder if that makes a difference - it won't be pressing on my bladder yet.

Indix I feel the same as usually I'm so healthy and genuinely prefer healthy food! But I just can't stomach most of the stuff I usually eat so I'm having 3 packets of crisps a day (which is so bad!), a sandwich for lunch every day, toast late afternoon. Then by tea time I'm not able to stomach much so last night I just had a tin of soup. As soon as I'm feeling better I'm going to really focus on healthy eating as I don't want to gain too much weight in this pregnancy (I've probably already gained loads with all the crisps and bread!).

Fiep · 24/07/2018 07:12

@Picklesandpies yes, though it's only been a couple of days so I don't trust the improvement. But these last few days were the first in weeks where I've felt normalish.

twiglet · 24/07/2018 07:52

I wee loads! But I have to drink a lot of fluids to keep my BP ok to stop the dizzyness I think I average about 3 litres a day.....

hayleyfx · 24/07/2018 08:27

12 weeks today! My scan is at 3pm and I’m so nervous 😬

bubblybrit · 24/07/2018 08:27

@FrowningFlamingo. It is a personal decision but I am waiting on the results from the blood test. I am hoping to get them early next week. Scan looked great but DH and I just wanted the added assurance from the results before we told anyone bar close family and one or two best friends x

bubblybrit · 24/07/2018 08:32

Good luck with your scan today @hayleyfx!

Since2016 · 24/07/2018 08:39

I wee constantly. But I had bladder damage after I had DD so it's weak anyway this is just making it worse!

I'm so unhealthy. Stressed about putting weight on but swing wildly between nausea and starving. If I get hungry the nausea is worse 😩

I will tell people reluctantly after the 12w scan. But only a few. I'm waiting for the bloods results and then as far as I can, waiting till end of August (around 15/16 weeks) to go "public" with work and wider friends. I know quite a few people who have had losses at 12-14 weeks and I'm too nervous.

Alicejj8x · 24/07/2018 08:39

Thanks ladies :) just wondered as I know some ppl wee lots but atm that's not happening for me anymore than usual lol

Alicejj8x · 24/07/2018 08:39

@Picklesandpies
Yes this will be my first baby :)

Alicejj8x · 24/07/2018 08:41

Argh booking 12 week scan in today. Feels sooo surreal never got past the 6/7 week mark and so far so good. Last scan was last Wednesday where I was 9 weeks and everything was looking good. Having a private scan Monday as it was OH idea & we have the day off so I won't complain about that 😬

Alicejj8x · 24/07/2018 10:15

13th August is my 12 week scan 😍😍

buthaina · 24/07/2018 10:34

@Alicejj8x omg me too! Just got it booked yesterday. So excited Grin

Btw those of you who are in full time employment, how do you guys manage? I found it so difficult to get to work with my morning sickness.

Fredthespider · 24/07/2018 10:40

Everything was perfect at our scan. Bang on our dates (4th Feb) 😍

February 2019 part 4
Leonora94 · 24/07/2018 10:47

@buthaina I'm not really managing! It's been so hot in the office (43 degrees yesterday!) that I've been leaving and working form home at lunch.

sagasleathertrousers · 24/07/2018 10:50

Re telling people - I'm had 12 weeks scan last week but still waiting for blood results, booked in for harmony test tomorrow anyway as I'm v old. Told my parents and siblings after scan and my boss and 2 best friends knew already but not telling anyone at work etc til after blood results...

sagasleathertrousers · 24/07/2018 10:51

Technically I'm due 31 jan now but I know they're wrong (because we only had sex once that month) and the earliest it could be is 1 Feb so I'm sticking on this thread!

buthaina · 24/07/2018 11:24

@Leonora94 same here. I have been working from home for 2days now. I'm thankful I have an understanding manager otherwise I'm not sure what I would have done

Leonora94 · 24/07/2018 11:43

@buthaina I'm going to work from home for the rest of the week I think. I'm so grateful I have an understanding manager would be a nightmare if not.

Yakadee · 24/07/2018 11:44

@Fredthespider -lovely little bub x

clairehr · 24/07/2018 12:23

@Fredthespider Lovely scan 😍 good luck for yours today @hayleyfx

craftymum01 · 24/07/2018 12:29

ergh I feel rough today. Normally I get a bit of nausea in the morning if I don't eat but that's it. Today nothing seems to be helping. Can't wait until my DS goes down for a nap so I can have a lie down. 11 weeks today, these things are supposed to be getting better not worse!
Good luck for all getting scanned today :)

smellsofelderberries · 24/07/2018 12:51

@craftymum01 I'm 11 weeks today too and also feeling 🤢🤢😴 DH was Home early this evening as DD was being very toddlerish today and I wanted backup. He was home at 6 and took DD into the kitchen to help him do the veggies for supper and I fell asleep! Hopefully it'll pick up for us both soon.

Had my NT screening bloods today. They do the bloods the week before the scan here so we will get our results at our scan next week. Went for another quick scan yesterday and sonographer said skull and spin looks well formed though so she thinks we should be low risk. DD got her own scan photo which she was v v pleased with!!

DragonFlew · 24/07/2018 13:02

@FredtheSpider lovely scan picture!

@craftymum01 sorry you're feeling so rough.
For the first time in weeks I woke up and felt absolutely fine! It was great to be able to take the kids out this morning before it got too hot. We've had a lovely morning together and its made me feel much less guilty about being such a write off these past few weeks!
Not looking forward to working until 10pm tonight - I haven't even managed to stay up until the end of Love Island for about a week now!

I just had a quick nose on the Jan 2019 group, can't wait until we are all out of this sicky phase and start to feel better! Nice to know we aren't in it alone though x

DragonFlew · 24/07/2018 13:07

@IndiX what kind of exercise have you been doing? Pre-pregnancy I was running a lot and also weight training in the gym.
I stopped running after my BFP because I stupidly Googled it and saw that someone said it may increase risk. I have done some light weight and body weight strength training. I was going to speak to my mw about it next week at my booking appt.

I've been looking in to antenatal aqua aerobics and also prenatal yoga - looking forward to feeling up to classes again!

Bluelagoon25 · 24/07/2018 13:25

The pregnancy+ app just got an update and it gives you a 3D of your baby size and you can do 360 etc and shows you actual size on the screen... check it out guys! So cool
