Eurgh so not good at this end. Had sharp pain lasting about 5mins and now am bleeding. Have an appointment at the EPU at 3 because of my history of ectopic. Could possibly be loss number four I looking at but fingers crossed it is a random bleed. Not feeling very optistic tbh but we'll just have to wait and see.

Wineandchoccy · 24/07/2018 13:13

ALRM fingers crossed it’s nothing to worry about. I hope the appointment goes ok x

orangekitkat13 · 24/07/2018 13:21

@ALRM fingers crossed everything is ok.

SquirtlesMumAgain · 24/07/2018 13:24

Fingers crossed all is OK. I had this with implantation of DS - I hope it is this for you.

wordsmithereens · 24/07/2018 13:42

@alrm fingers tightly crossed!

ladycarlotta · 24/07/2018 14:00

Fingers crossed @alrm, thinking of you.

peonylover22 · 24/07/2018 14:57

Really sorry to hear your news @supersharpshooter Hope everything is okay @ALRM

BadBadBeans · 24/07/2018 15:30

@ALRM thinking of you. Hope the appointment is going okay. X

ALRM · 24/07/2018 16:13

Just out, in right place, right size, little flicker of a heartbeat, no obvious reason for bleeding! Another scan booked for 2 weeks time at 8 weeks. Fingers firmly crossed but good news for now!

Goatlady5812 · 24/07/2018 16:39

@supersharpshooter82 I am so desperately sorry to hear this. Sending you so much love x

Wineandchoccy · 24/07/2018 17:19

ALRM great news to hear

Wineandchoccy · 24/07/2018 17:20

My GP has just phoned my blood tests from yesterday show I’m really low in iron I have to pick a prescription up tomorrow and start iron tablets with a higher dose than over the counter. I took them when pregnant with dd but not until a lot later on.

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 17:37

Thanks @MoosterTheMoose @BadBadBeans the reason I ask is because my early scan also showed the baby was a week behind and I'm anxious about a mmc for that reason.

HidCat · 24/07/2018 18:00

@SuperSharpShooter82 I'm so sorry. I hope you're being looked after and doing ok.

@ALRM I'm glad everything is ok after your scare.

puravida31 · 24/07/2018 18:29

Oh @supersharpshooter82 I am so so sorry, I hope the hospital look after you well. We will miss you

orangefolly · 24/07/2018 18:48

Really sorry to hear @supersharpshooter - thinking of you Flowers

Good news @ALRM

Two weeks today until my scan. The waiting feels interminable.

BadBadBeans · 24/07/2018 19:40

@ALRM so glad it was happy news; hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.

@mostimproved sorry lovely, I had forgotten that. Remember the measurements can be quite inaccurate this early on. Also depending on when you ovulated you might be several days different to the date of your LMP. @Angelmiracle and I are only a day apart I think based on LMP, but I ovulated and got my BFP quite a few days before her so if we both went for a scan right now we would probably be measuring quite differently. Are you going back for a follow-up scan?

I have felt queasy today for sure. Also craved salty and vinegary foods. I was desperate to open a can of tuna at 11am and just eat it all up with a load of salt on but my in laws were in the kitchen and they don't know yet 😂 Had to hold out till lunchtime. Now I'm thinking about malt vinegar and my mouth is watering. I didn't crave anything with DS so this is a new experience for me!

MoosterTheMoose · 24/07/2018 20:00

Sorry mostimproved, I didn’t know - didn’t mean to be insensitive. I have my fingers crossed for you. How far along do they/you think you are?

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 20:07

@BadBadBeans no worries yes I'm having another scan on Monday morning once I'm back in London so at least I'll find out either way. I don't think I'll fully relax until there is a healthy baby at the end - like @TheWanderlust I'be also had to come off meds for anxiety & depression which is making it hard to stay calm!

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 20:10

@MoosterTheMoose no don't worry I didn't mean to be confrontational just wanted to explain why I was asking that's all! I went for a scan at 7+2 and they said I was only 6+2 even though I'm pretty sure when I ovulated. I'm now 8+4 according to LMP and will have a scan on Monday - just hoping to at least see some growth even if it's still behind. Just trying to think positive which is easier said than done!

HidCat · 24/07/2018 20:10

Ladies, hit with your random emotional bursts. I went to the cinema today and burst into tears as soon as I heard Winnie the Pooh's voice on the Christopher Robin trailer. God help me if I actually go to see the film!

TheWanderlust · 24/07/2018 20:21

@mostimproved have you got any coping strategies you find useful? I've had several hormonal raaaaaaa's at the other half the past few days, you can imagine he's less than impressed right now!

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 20:36

@TheWanderlust I wish I could say I do, but not really apart from trying to get lots of sleep as I find everything harder when I'm tired. I find if I'm upset it will build up so I have to let myself cry and let it all out sometimes which does help a bit. I am also getting physical side effects, mainly 'brain zaps' which is like random electric shocks in my head and leg, but that should go away soon. Do you have a perinatal mental health team you can see if you need to? My hospital has one, and I told them I don't need it but can always refer myself if I want which is a comfort knowing it's there.

TheWanderlust · 24/07/2018 21:03

@mostimproved zaps sound uncomfortable,, but I totally get you on the sleep front.

I'm not sure on the perinatal front, but am sure I can find out from the midwife when i see her next Friday. I'm hoping I'll start to settle a bit once I've seen the midwife and booked a scan

Jenlou1992 · 24/07/2018 21:38

Hi every one . Just wondering if anyone gets any pains . Quite uncomfortable pains low down on the pelvic area . I've had them intermittently today . I'm just really scared . I am hoping it's just part of the uterus growing and stretching but getting so paranoid thinking every time I go toilet I will see a bleed . Just want to cry . I am a nervous wreck 😔😔
