@ladycarlotta wow, cycling at the weekend! New York for work! I can barely leave the house. At least you're attempting exercise even though it doesn't feel fun.

orangekitkat13 · 23/07/2018 22:22

@Angelmiracle my nausea kicked in at 6 weeks, been pretty muck and it hasn't be too bad so far.

I'm taking pregnancare although think when this pack runs out I'm going to switch to boots own brand.

ladycarlotta · 23/07/2018 23:27

@pushit maybe I'm not conveying exactly how much of a baby I've been about it all! New York was unavoidable and the 20-mile cycle was probably a mistake but I was so excited to get to hang out with DP and see ponies. I promise I've endured it all with absolutely zero grace.

@angelmiracle I think I felt a bit queasy from 4-5 weeks but it's got incrementally worse from 7 weeks. Hoping this is its ceiling.

BadBadBeans · 24/07/2018 09:00

@Angelmiracle I definitely feel a bit queasy today at 5+3. Didn't kick in until 6+6 with DS though so I am a bit surprised. About to attempt the gym... not sure I'll manage much of a work out!

@ladycarlotta when I was about 7 or 8 months pregnant with DS we went on holiday to Yorkshire. I started to go for a hill walk with family... got literally five minutes into it and realised there was no way I could do it. I was so pissed off that I burst into tears, turned round and went home. My sister in law said it looked fantastically dramatic, with me in tears and my scarf billowing in the breeze as I walked away from them over the moorland 😂

Murphyrocks · 24/07/2018 09:21

@Angelmiracle I Hadd a bit of nausea from about 4 weeks, but the sickness really kicked in at 5+2. Apparently it peaks between 8 and 10 weeks and I'm 8 weeks tomorrow so I live in hope that it'll start easing off soon! Last time for me it peaked about 8 weeks and was gone by about 11 weeks. Hope that helps.

Bluebelltulip · 24/07/2018 09:24

@angelmiracle my nausea started at just over 3weeks and was my first symptoms but as I got a positive on a normal test at 3+4 I may have ovulated earlier so actually further along. I didn't get it until 7 weeks with my first. I'm taking Tesco's pregnancy vitamins (currently on 3 for 2).

@badbadbeans I was very hormonal about 8 months, I cryed because I had to reverse into my drive from the other direction, I could still do it so not sure why it upset me, my DH was rather confused.

pushit · 24/07/2018 09:35

@BadBadBeans love the drama, tears and flowing scarf. Although must have felt horrid. I did lots of Cornish cliff walks at 7/8months last time, took it very slowly. Then when we got to our destination I'd sit and have a drink while my friend ran back for the car 🙈 made me feel a right invalid!!

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 09:38

Another one who hates the heat here - luckily I'm up in the North East for a week and it's so much cooler here than London so I finally had a good night's sleep last night!

@Wineandchoccy glad your booking in went well and you have a scan date - mine is the day after yours. Booking in was fine although I had to remind the midwife to make sure they tested my thyroid and she just wrote it by hand on the blood test form, so I really hope the lab don't miss it. I asked for an ELCS and she said yes that's fine, no point even going to the VBAC clinic if you don't want one, and has booked me in to see the consultant and anaesthetist so it was very straightforward and no fighting required at all.

SuperSharpShooter82 · 24/07/2018 10:08

Not good news from my scan I’m afraid. The baby hasn't grown and there is no longer a heartbeat. Not leaving things to happen naturally so I’m off to the hospital now.

I'm actually ok. I knew.

💔

Wishing you all happy and healthy pregnancies.

mostimproved · 24/07/2018 10:17

Oh no @SuperSharpShooter82 I'm so sorry Thankshope you are well looked after at the hospital. Feel free to ignore me if this is insensitive but were you still having symptoms up to now?

BadBadBeans · 24/07/2018 10:21

@SuperSharpShooter82 I'm so sorry; what sad news. Glad you feel okay. I felt okay about mine earlier this year as well - I don't know why. I kept expecting it to hit me later but it never did. Hope you will be the same as me on that front. Best of luck xxx

@most improved I can answer that one - she posted yesterday and said she felt nauseous, dizzy and exhausted. Even when you miscarry you still have pregnancy hormones in your system for a good while so the symptoms can, cruelly, continue.

Sarahandduckarehigh · 24/07/2018 10:22

I'm so sorry @SuperSharpShooter82. SadSad
I hope they look after you at the hospital and that you have lots of RL support. Big virtual hugs from here. Xx

Wineandchoccy · 24/07/2018 10:24

Bluebelltulip · 24/07/2018 11:09

So sorry to see your news supersharpshooter82

SquirtlesMumAgain · 24/07/2018 11:12

So sorry to hear that @SuperSharpShooter82, hope the hospital look after you.

Murphyrocks · 24/07/2018 11:24

Just had my scan letter through the post, 22nd August for dating scan, nuchal translucency and consultant appointment to discuss levels of risk and resultant level of consultant care needed. I'll be exactly 12 weeks. Exciting!

wordsmithereens · 24/07/2018 11:52

So sorry @SuperSharpShooter82, hope you get taken care of well, and all the best wishes to you and yours.

I keep rolling on this wave of sickness still - should be 8 weeks now, but every time I think it's getting better it gets worse again. Saw the midwife again yesterday because the lab had lost a bunch of blood tests and she suspects I might be iron deficient. Crossing fingers that's a no as I didn't tolerate iron supplements when I took them several years back.

Have also caved and booked in for an early scan on Sunday, my 12 week one is booked but was too excited to see the little alien a bit sooner! :)

Angelmiracle · 24/07/2018 12:00

Big hugs @SuperSharpShooter82 thinking of you 💐 I am sorry for your loss 💜Take it easy and let everyone look after you xx

ladycarlotta · 24/07/2018 12:01

oh, @supersharpshooter82 I'm so sorry. Wishing you healing and kindness - I hope the hospital is tolerable. Lots of hugs to you.

ladycarlotta · 24/07/2018 12:06

@BadBadBeans crying is better when you do it on a moor! I'm anticipating this sort of frustration (had a taste of it with the bike); DP and I love walking, and we'd planned to go somewhere for his birthday at the beginning of October. I hope I'll be feeling OK for it - I'll be 19 weeks then and probably losing a bit of lung capacity, but on the flipside if there's a just God I'll no longer be nauseous.

MoosterTheMoose · 24/07/2018 12:44

I'm so sorry supersharpshooter , I hope everything goes smoothly at the hospital. I had a missed misscarriage a few years ago and the waiting for that second scan was by far the worst part - I hope you find the same. much love.

And mostimproved from my experience still had symptoms right up until hospital procedure - one of the things about a missed miscarriage is that your body doesn't realised you've miscarried and carries on hormanally as if pregnant.

orangekitkat13 · 24/07/2018 12:53

@SuperSharpShooter82 I'm so sorry to hear this! Take care of yourself.
