Hello all! I got my BFP this morning at 10dpo and am apparently due 1st March with my third baby. Now feeling that familiar paranoia about what might go wrong, but hopeful all will be well. Is anyone else due in March yet? 😬

Yeah 🙋‍♀️we haven't dtd either, was nervous about impacting things early on and now I'm worried the motion might make the nausea worse! 🤣

@frankiefumblesand@RedRobin7
I had some very light brown discharge yesterday and today but I didn't dwell on it too long. So many on here have said it a few times, that a bit of bleeding is normal. As long as it doesn't soak a pad all is normal. An early scan is a good idea though to put your minds at ease.

ladycarlotta · 08/07/2018 16:12

Oh, I'm so relieved we aren't the only ones leading a sexless existence right now! I'd love to dtd in theory, I just never feel up to it. Falling asleep at 9.30 every night doesn't help!

I've felt SO ropey today. After the extreme nausea this morning I felt like I was starting a migraine, but it seems to have settled down thank God. Another hideousness: after two days storming about sweatily for work, I've got proper chub rub on the inner thighs. I've never had it before so I'm blaming the heat and the baby bloat. Managed to grab a pair of little cycling short thingies today which have helped.

It's a mystery why we aren't having sex, it really is.

orangekitkat13 · 08/07/2018 16:29

Hi Ladies, can I tentatively join?

Age: 31
Current DC or 1st: 1st, second pregnancy, MC at beginning of May at 5weeks
Location: Surrey
EDD: 3rd March (5weeks 6 days)
AOB: first MW appointment 2nd August. Symptoms so far are super soar boobs, bloating and windy (TMI sorry!) also today the tiredness kicked in.

Praying for a sticky bean this time round for myself and all of us.

Sarahandduckarehigh · 08/07/2018 17:04

Is anyone feeling stuff going on down there? Best I can describe it is like bubbles popping occasionally?

Murphyrocks · 08/07/2018 17:59

Hi @orangekitkat13 and @welshsoph, congratulations to you both!

Yes I agree entirely @ladycarlotta, the mind is willing but the body is tired and nauseous! Plus not feeling sexy at all!

RedRobin7 · 08/07/2018 18:33

Thanks for the reassurance ladies. I'll keep you posted! Going to call in sick tomorrow as I'm going to be a nervous wreck and won't want to be chatting to my colleagues!

Welcome new ladies! @orangekitkat13 You're from Surrey, so are @TheWanderlust and @nervousnelly8 ! I'm from Berkshire but Frimley is my chosen hospital. How about you?

ladycarlotta · 08/07/2018 18:42

@RedRobin7 take care of yourself. A sick day sounds like a good thing.

welcome @welshsoph (I'm so sorry I didn't see your post when I posted last - I wasn't ignoring you!) and @orangekitkat13! Congratulations to you both, and sorry for your losses - it really, really sucks.

orangekitkat13 · 08/07/2018 18:48

@ladycarlotta @Murphyrocks @RedRobin7 thanks guys.

I've also heard that brown blood is not a bad sign as it's quite common to lose some old blood. A day off sounds like good idea tho! I'm going to Frimley too! We're right on the Surrey Berkshire boarder so it's my closest.

RedRobin7 · 08/07/2018 19:02

@ladycarlotta Thank you x

@orangekitkat13 Cool another Frimley lady! They really looked after me earlier this year so I didn't think twice when deciding which hospital this time. It's so much cleaner than the Royal Berks which is my closest. You can't be too far from me if you're on the boarder.

Mumtobe34 · 08/07/2018 19:15

@RedRobin7

Don't worry yourself sick by searching things in google. We all do it and we all regret it afterwards. Having a day off sounds great and I'd give a call to your doctor to ease your mind. X

Anyone from Nottingham or surroundings? Not sure what hospital to choose Confused I'd be nice to know experiences

Mumtobe34 · 08/07/2018 19:18

It'd* Grin

Goatlady5812 · 08/07/2018 20:21

Wishing you so much luck @redrobin. X

Shampooeeee · 08/07/2018 20:29

Fingers crossed for you RedRobin7, it must be terrifying but you are doing the right thing by resting.
Welcome to the new ladies.

RedRobin7 · 08/07/2018 20:31

Thanks ladies! Good luck tomorrow @Goatlady5812, let us know how you get on x

TheWanderlust · 08/07/2018 20:51

@orangekitkat13 you must be really close to us. We're Camberley so FPH is the obvious choice for us.

HidCat · 08/07/2018 20:58

@Sarahandduckarehigh I have that bubbly feeling right now lol. Think it's gas.

@RedRobin7 keep us posted. Keeping everything crossed for you that it's old implantation blood.

Feeling very tired today. Not been sleeping with the humidity so currently choking on the sofa surrounded by pillows. Thank God we'll be big when it's cooler!

frankiefumbles · 08/07/2018 21:03

@hamandpease fingers fine but by god have I got pudgey cankles!!!!

Sarahandduckarehigh · 08/07/2018 21:11

@HidCat gas! 😂😂😂 I have enough of that most of the time to recognise it; but this is something different. I've been getting what feels like stretching pains (if that makes sense) too.

I've had a couple of days without nausea, but it hit in waves in the middle of Sainsburys early. A pack of yumyums sorted it though. 🙂

orangekitkat13 · 08/07/2018 21:14

@TheWanderlust I'm near Farnborough. You never know, if all goes well we could be in the labour ward at the same time!

HidCat · 09/07/2018 07:00

@Sarahandduckarehigh I'm my last pregnancy I started to get a sensation that I visualised as like goldfish bubbles (does that make sense). Different to gas but like tiny bubbles rising. Does that sound about right? I had it really early on and kept getting it, I have no idea what it really was but was convinced it was the baby. The stretching pains are from the hormone relaxin. All your ligaments get a bit loosey goosey right from the start. It's a weird sensation isn't it?

ladycarlotta · 09/07/2018 07:03

Well, morning sickness does seem to have stepped up from car-sickness to stomach bug. I feel SO sick. This is highly unpleasant.

RachaelT · 09/07/2018 07:26

Aww @ladycarlotta, so far mine has just been dry gagging - it's usually a burp coming up but I'm still half running towards the loo just in case!

Another 4.30am seen by me - managed to get a few catnaps in once I was downstairs in the cooler lounge. Absolutely knackered though and it's starting to affect me at work :(

frankiefumbles · 09/07/2018 07:33

Last night a friend called me out on my "strava" activity feed (where all my bike rides are recorded). She thought she could see a change in my activities that meant I was pregnant. The reason she spotted...she's 12 weeks along herself.

But here's the funny bit. She didn't find out until a week or so ago! Can you imagine getting past all this to 12 weeks, not even having tried for a baby and then suddenly being told there's a bun in the oven? She knew she had a tummy bug but didn't realise she had a whole baby in there. I haven't spoken in person yet but I guess she has irregular periods...amazing. Can't get my head around it. So I'll have a real life mum buddy already!
