Loving seeing all these scans Smile

CVB1990 · 20/04/2018 15:48

Lovely seeing all the scans! Congratulate ladies 💕 After a massive palaver with mine I’m hoping after my first midwife appointment next week (at 11 weeks) I will have a scan date too!

We’re off to Florida at the end of may, going to be a slightly different trip now as there’s no rides/ theme parks for me but really can’t wait to get away.

toasterstrudle · 20/04/2018 15:54

So sorry to add doom and gloom, missed miscarriage here. I'd had a bit of a bad feeling as symptoms stopped around 9 weeks, but actually nothing had grown at all, just a sac. Should have had that early scan after all I guess! Beautiful scans from everyone else today, truly delighted for you all. I'm ok about this, feels very sad but we're so lucky to have our gorgeous wee boy. Wine and cuddles tonight, dreaded d and c this weekend. Hopefully it'll happen for us again in the not too distant future. Lots of love to everyone, wish you all a healthy pregnancy xx

Nightmanagerfan · 20/04/2018 16:04

@toasterstrudle that’s so sad to hear - I’m so sorry. Glad to hear you are so upbeat but do look after yourself - it must be a lot to take in. Hope you’ll be back on another board before too long

pipsqueak126 · 20/04/2018 16:43

Ahhh lovely scan pictures! @wejammin I'm also October and I'm sure they'll be plenty of us with babies arriving in October! Smile My DD was supposed to arrive early in the month and ended up arriving late in the month she was too comfortable I think!

Oh toaster I’m so sorry. Be kind to yourself, mmc is so mean. You seem upbeat, but allow yourself to be sad as well if you need.

wejammin congrats on your scan today, that’s a lovely clear picture.

toasterstrudle · 20/04/2018 18:38

Thank you so much all, that's just lovely reading your messages. Im actually ok, husband and I have stocked up on pizza and wine and we're going to have a bit of a drink and a cry this evening. Onwards and hopefully upwards though, we're so lucky to have DS at least xx

Really sorry to hear your news @toasterstrudle. Have some wine for all of us. Thinking of you x

moomoo85 · 20/04/2018 19:36

Sorry @toasterstrudle wishing you all the best for the future.

Sorry I have been quiet I have had a challenging week. My son developed slapped cheek last weekend and my bloods have come back showing that I am not immune. Which means that I am currently in the waiting period to see if I catch it after what was definitely a significant exposure.

I am still feeling pretty rough, exhausted and nauseated. Things had seemed to improve a bit earlier in the week but today has been difficult again. 10+ 4 today and plodding towards my 12 week scan in just under two weeks.

Just feeling very pessimistic about everything at the moment.

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 20/04/2018 20:10

Has anyone used one of these for previous babies?

Saraswati · 20/04/2018 20:22

So sorry @toasterstrudle I hope you have a healthy pregnancy soon Flowers

dointhedo · 20/04/2018 20:47

Yes @GiveMummyTheWhizzer we used one with DS as he just wouldn't settle in the crib, it really helped. We used the sleepyhead when he got bigger too. I haven't checked current safe sleep guidelines to check whether they're still ok yet though.
