TinyPaws · 15/04/2018 10:06

My boobs have noticeably deflated overnight. I don't think I'm carrying a living baby. Sad

Nightmanagerfan · 15/04/2018 11:02

So sorry to hear that @tinypaws are you waiting to go back for another scan or just watching and waiting? It must be so awful. I hope you are getting lots of rest and taking time to process everything

toasterstrudle · 15/04/2018 11:12

@TinyPaws mine have too, I'm very worried for scan on Friday as all my symptoms have gone. I'm trying to stay positive until I hear otherwise, but it is a horrid feeling. When's your next scan?

TinyPaws · 15/04/2018 11:25

Sorry you after having such a worrying time @toasterstrudel. Hope you have a good outcome.

My next scan is on Wednesday. Woke up this morning just knowing something isn't right though.

GreenMeerkat · 15/04/2018 13:32

@TinyPaws and @toasterstrudle how far along are you? I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and my symptoms have pretty much disappeared (about 3 days ago). I have a Doppler and heard baby this morning.

It might just mean your placenta is working now.

toasterstrudle · 15/04/2018 14:51

Ah @GreenMeerkat that's good to hear! I'm 11+3, when's your 12 week scan? I swear the closer to my scan I get, the more nervous I am! I was really sick until 16 weeks last time so feeling fine is throwing me out a bit.

GreenMeerkat · 15/04/2018 15:02

@toasterstrudle my scan isn't until next Tuesday, so I'll be 13 weeks! I know most people wouldn't recommend a Doppler as they can cause undue stress but I've found mine to be very reassuring. Am actually enjoying not being sick rather than worrying about it!

TinyPaws · 15/04/2018 15:23

I'm only 7+4 Sad

LastNightsMakeUp · 15/04/2018 15:43

@toasterstrudle I'm similar to you as vomited up to 22 weeks pretty much daily with dd and this time apart from being tired (which has improved) I don't particularly feel pregnant at all! I'm mostly just trying to enjoy it and be thankful but I have a niggling worry about less symptoms. Although tbh if there is something wrong worrying isn't going to help either.

Fingers crossed it's your placenta bedding in and getting to work @TinyPaws. Having a weeks wait is horrible but you're nearly there. I remember my boobs being fantastic at about 7 weeks with my dd, I loved them! Then they deflated and after a year bf'ing they've never been the same. This time they probably inflated a little but they definitely weren't fantastic 😪!

@GreenMeerkat I have a Doppler from last time, I found it comforting. I think the midwives mainly reinforce to go by babies movements rather than a home doppler. When did you start being able to hear on yours? I haven't attempted trying to listen this pg yet.

toasterstrudle · 15/04/2018 15:53

Haha @LastNightsMakeUp mine were a sad state of affairs after breastfeeding! I was delighted when they came back, and now they've deflated again 😭 Interesting to hear about your symptoms too, and you're so right - worrying won't help/change anything. Today, as far as I know, I am pregnant. Need to stop worrying. Bloody first trimester!!

@TinyPaws crossing everything for good news on Wednesday. At least it's not too long a wait now. Hate having a worry, I do feel for you. Especially when it's so early as so much can change between scans.

marajade12 · 15/04/2018 16:21

Hello ladies, been lurking for a while so thought it high time I join in 😀, have added my details to the sheet.
So far been feeling pretty stressed out as had a bit of spotting off on and for the last few weeks, latest only a week ago. Had a 6 week scan and all ok, saw hb as well. Now waiting with nervous anticipation for 12 week scan on the 24th.

Aussi · 15/04/2018 16:27

Has anyone got any recommendations for hay fever ? My midwife told me at my appt that there are no safe drugs so you just have to suffer through it! Anyone been given different advice ?

TinyPawz · 15/04/2018 16:35

Aussi apparently honey from your local area can dull the symptoms. Not sure of the science behind it but it seems to work for my brother. He is usually in hell with hay fever but the last few years has been eating local honey on toast, in his tea etc and swears his symptoms aren't as bad. Worth a shot xx

MrsFTigalar · 15/04/2018 17:10

We use local honey here too - it needs to be as close as possible as bees don't fly that far (by our standards) so you want the pollen that you're reacting to in the honey you're eating iyswim?

It's brilliant for DS, and would be better for DH if he didn't think it worked by looking at the jar 🙄
